  Have anybody came across a problem with POP3 adapter in BT2009? When POP3 adapter is added to locations and assigned to port following errors in windows log appear. • Batch break up after call other batch file

  i have the problem, that my batch process breaking up each time after call a other batch file. The batch files are used to run a make process out from IBM Rhapsody. There convert the call from Rhapsody to the Visual Studio tools. So nmake will be called from the batch after make different settings. The scripts aren’t written completely from me, I only adapt theme to run under both windows architecture versions, x86 and x64. The first script (vs2005_make.bat) will be called from Rhapsody and run to the “call” statement. The second script (Vcvars_VisualStudio2005.bat) runs to the end. But the first script isn’t resume working, at this point the process break up without a error message. I'm not very familiar with batch files, this is the first time I make more than simple console commands in a batch file. So I hope I have given all information’s which needed, otherwise ask me. • Windows Explorer argument not being interpreted?

  I'm currently using: Process.Start("explorer.exe", "/Select, " + fullPath); //with file name.extension That basically tells windows explorer to open the folder where the file is in, with the given file selected. But, by the forces of evil, sometimes it works and sometimes it just opens the file ("/select" is... ignored) Has anyone ever experienced this? If it changes anything, it's a file in a local network and the path looks like this \\server\folder\subfolder\something\file.ext (of course in c# every '\' is doubled, and @ is not a choice, the path is generated by something else) I'll be constantly reading comments to supply any aditional information

  I have multiple pages with java applet written with SWT. The problem is, applet loads only on first page, to load it on another page i need restart browser, otherwise i get following error: Exception in thread "Thread-27" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Could not load SWT library. • Brainstorming - MIDI over LAN

  I'm planning out a summer coding project for myself. I work with a lot of MIDI and have been researching it a lot. I know it's an old technology, but it works with a lot of music hardware/software so in my eyes, it's still viable. Anyway, I haven't ever worked with writing drivers or anything, so I don't know where I would start with this. So, provided I have MIDI data already being sent over LAN to a server (I know how to do that part), what steps would it take for the server to channel those received messages to an emulated MIDI device, that could then be accessed in music software and so on? Also, what would it take to also send MIDI data back through the LAN to be received by the device that originally received the message? I'm not really looking for too specific a solution. Really I am just trying to come up with a game plan right now and I need to figure out where/what to research.

  Has anyone used Watir with IronRuby successfully? I am getting an error that the required file 'Watir' was not found. What path do I need to set to get this file to work in IronRuby? I am using 0.9 version of Ironruby. I remember that in 0.9 you have to indicate the ir tool: I used the following and got the error again! • Using .htaccess to server files from Amazon S3 CloudFront

  My ideal setup would be to take a current clients site, upload a .htaccess with a regex inside, that would match the URI, and if it finds a certain file extension, it would use the same path, but with an altered domain. ie. Normal path: http://www.domain.com/something/images/someimage.jpeg http://www.domain.com/assets/js/jquery.js .htaccess translated would turn the above into: http://mycdn.other.com/something/images/someimage.jpeg http://mycdn.other.com/assets/js/jquery.js I googled this for hours in a row, no luck. Again, this is for actually making use of Amazon's CloudFront. S3 is already mounted to the website for backups and storing files using s3fs, but this doesn't solve the issue since it's using S3 directly, not using the CloudFront.

  I've just upgraded to .NET 4 and my ASP.NET Chart Control no longer displays. All I've done is to switch the System.Web.DataVisualization assembly from, 3.5 to 4.0. Any help greatly appreciated.

  Background I am developing an application (with Spring MVC) with its base path as: http://localhost:8080/myapplication/ I have a stylesheet /css/style.css that I am trying to refer with absolute path in a JSP as: <link rel="stylesheet" href="/css/style.css" type="text/css" media="screen, projection"> Problem The stylesheet never loads in the browser. When I follow the stylesheet link through browser's view source feature, the link appears to be: http://localhost:8080/css/style.css Which should have had been: http://localhost:8080/myapplication/css/style.css I used to fix this issue with html:rewrite tag while working with Struts. • Visual Studio reference x64 GAC

  How can one get Visual Studio 2005/2008 to reference assemblies in the 64-bit GAC instead of the 32-bit GAC? We are settin the target platfom to x64 and the compiler is throwing the error of Error 2 Warning as Error: Assembly generation -- Referenced assembly 'System.Data.dll' targets a different processor Common Error 3 Warning as Error: Assembly generation -- Referenced assembly 'mscorlib.dll' targets a different processor Common Error 4 Assembly signing failed; output may not be signed -- The system cannot find the file specified. Common Update 29 Dec 08 Been trying out Aaron Stebner's suggestions to place 64-bit assemblies onto an isolated location (e.g. C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\GAC_64) and creating additional entries in the registry like HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft.NETFramework\AssemblyFolders\GAC_64 or HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft.NETFramework\v2.0.50727\AssemblyFoldersEx\GAC_64 but Visual Studio 2005 is still not picking it up....

• [cocoa] NSSearchField not working as expected

  Hi, I'm trying to follow Marcus Zarra in his book 'Core Data'. In the book, he makes a small sample application, but it doesn't give much help when things don't work out... He starts out by visually designing three entities, and then adding array controllers for each entity to the main nib. Second, he adds a tableview and some other visual components to show data from the array controllers. So far, I have managed to follow, but now he adds a search field to the gui, and binds it to the same array controller as one of the tableviews. Expected behavior would be for the tableview to get filtered when typing in the search field, but nothing happens. How do I find out what's wrong? The relevant parts from the nib is as follow: NSArrayController Recipes - Mode = Entity - Enitity Name = Recipe TableView w/TableColumn - Value Bind To Recipes -- Controller Key = arrangedObjects -- Model Key Path = name Search Field - Predicate Bind To Recipes -- Controller Key = filterPredicate -- Model Key Path = name -- Display name = predicate -- Predicate Format = keyPath contains $value There are no relevant messages in the console. regards, -Vegar
