    I get org.apache.jasper.JasperException: /index.jsp(2,1) Unterminated <%@ page tag The page tags look like this: <%@ page import="java.util.*" %> <%@ page import="au.edu.uwa.peb.autoextractor.model.ScanResultItem"; %> This seems to indicate to me that a < does not have a corresponding tag ... is this so ... my IDE does not highlight any errors so how can I find this unterminated tag. Is there a JSP validation tool that I can use, perhaps online? I want to know how to create the collision of the cars. I can't think of any idea. As you notice my agent has almost the same size as the patch (I set it to 0.9 so that you can distinguish the space between 2 cars when they are set next to each other and I round the coordinates so that they are set to the centre of the patch). In my accelerate procedure I set my agent to turn left, move 1, turn right in a loop. I want to know if there's a command that lets me make the agent jump from one lane to the other (to the patch next to it on its left) without making it turn and move. And last, if you notice the code i created the car checks the patch that is next to it on the lane on its left and the patch in front of it and the back of it. So if the 3 patches on its left are empty then it can change lane. The fuzzy part is that when i run the setup and I press Go sometimes (not always) the car goes out of the 3 basic lanes. To understand this I have 7 lanes. The middle one which I don't use which is lane 0. Then there are 3 lanes on top of lane 0 and 3 below it. So the code I am using refers to the upper 3 lanes where I set the cars but for some reason some of the cars change lane and go to lane -3 then -2 and so forth. If someone can give me a tip I would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance. Tip: if you want to try this code in netlogo keep in mind that on interface tab I have 2 buttons one setup and one go as well as 3 sliders with names: number_of_cars , speed-up , slow-down.

    I want to configure the ADSL router which connects 10+ machines to the internet. I want to give maximum priority to browsing (ports 80,443) and set low priority for bittorrent etc.(port 42180) I have been experimenting with settings , but with no luck. There are three settings which confuse me, along with my understanding. 802.1 Priority - Related to LAN level, possible values 0-7 , higher numbers means higher priority. 'Mark traffic priority' - clueless about this. IPP/DS - IP Precedence - possible values 0-7 ; 6 & 7 are reserved, so set 5 for highest priority. Or when using DSCP - set 46 for highest priority. Please help me in getting this done... Similer question for another model of router here , but with less number of confusing options :) How to configure QoS on home router Update: from discussion on another thread, QoS can control only upstream traffic (from router to the internet) , while this may in turn affect downstream traffic rate, there is no direct control over data coming into the router.

However, when i close the UserControl that this combobox resides, it calls the set property again with a value of null and then sets what the selectedItem was to null. Why is the comboBox being bound again when I close the usercontrol. I tried setting the mode to OneTime, but that won't reflect any changes...

  • Windows Service with a Logon user set

    I have a service running in a box with Windows XP and a box of Server (2008). The service is configured as autmactic mode with a logon user/pwd set. The log on user is a local user. The service requires this user setting in order to run. The issue I have right now is that the box intermittently reboot itself. I am going to investigate what is causing the reboot (hardware or application). Regardless the reason, what I need is that the service should be able to recover itself into running state after the reboot. I think the configuration should be able achieve this goal since the user/pwd having been set and its mode being automatic. Do I need to log in as that user to bring the service back? (sometimes the reboot happens in the midnight) I am not sure if there is any difference between Windows XP and Windows Server (2008). The only thing I realize is that when there is a unexpected reboot, the Windows Server will prompt a dialog to explain the previous reboot. Will this prevent any automatic service running or the service will run only the reason has been set?

    I am working at an university as research assistant. Often I would like to connect from home to university resources over http or ssh, but they are blocked from outside access. Therefore, they have a front-end ssh server where we can ssh into and from there to other hosts. For http access they advise to set up an ssh tunnel like this ssh -L 1234:proxyserver.university.fi:8080 publicsshserver.university.fi and put the proxy settings of your browser to point to port 1234 All nice and working, but I would not like to let all my other internet traffic go over this proxy server, and everytime I want to connect to the university I have to do this steps again. What would I like: - Set up a ssh tunnel everytime I log in my computer. I have a certificate, so no passwords are needed - Have a way to redirect some wildcard-domains always through the ssh-server first. So that when I type intra.university.fi in my browser, transparently the request is going through the tunnel. Same when I want to ssh into another resource within the university Is this possible? For the http part I think I maybe should set up my own local transparent proxy to have this easily done. How about the ssh part?

  • How to Set up MySQL Server to utilize more memory

    Hi there, I have MySQL setup on Windows along with Plesk. The version is 5.0.45 Community. The databases I have on the server are MyISAM as well as InnoDb, but predominantly innodb. I had 8G memory on my server, but MySQL isn't going up more than 1.3G and tweaking the settings isn't helping. I tried to increase the memory allocation for innodb_buffer_pool_size, it works if I set it up to 1G, but if I set 2G, or above the server doesn't come back online! I want mySQL to use at least 5-6 Gigs of the memory I have for performance, but I can't get this to work. Can anyone please help? My mysql config file is below (there are 2 mysqld sections... when i used MySQL workbench it created another one!) I work at a local web-hosting firm and we get a lot of tickets from clients who want to set up these settings. I just set them up something like: example.com. 14400 IN MX 10 ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. example.com. 14400 IN MX 10 ASPMX4.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. example.com. 14400 IN MX 15 ASPMX5.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. example.com. 14400 IN MX 15 ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. example.com. 14400 IN MX 30 ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. I see another firm (rival one) who sets up way more MX-records ? Roughly, around 10-15 entries. Am I doing something wrong ? More is better in this case ? Is there a secret that I'm not on too ?

  • Why Java applicaiton is running slow for clients on Linux

    We have two linux servers which have Apache Tomcat Installed. One is running the Database, the other is running with Java application. More than 100 users are connected to the servers. Server machines are quad core normal PC's which have 4 GB memory. It was running properly for the last 6 months but the application has recently started to run slowly . Suddenly the Java application is getting stuck & users cannot work for some time. There is no network issue. I am trying to identify the reason for this, whether it is a machine problem or the problem is in the Java application. Can any body help me with this?

    Goal: Have multiple domains share a set of cgi(perl) scripts Environment: Apache 2.0 on a dedicated Cent OS server. (Apache configuration files generated by cPanel) I have dozens of domains on the dedicated server. The domains set up by cPanel under VirtualHost section. I have almost no knowledge of Apache. Most of what I do is taken care of by cPanel. I would like to put a set of scripts under one directory (perhaps under / or /opt ) and for each of the domains, under the individual cgi-bin, I would like to create a symbolic link to this common directory. This way I am hoping to avoid having to keep a copy of scripts for every domain. Since Apache config files are generated by cPanel, I would not like to manually make changes to those. Beside, I could mess things up. I see that cPanel recommends use of include files rather than changing the httpd.conf Perhaps I need to have the following of symbolic links enabled in the cgi-bin directory and allow the web server user execute the scripts not owned by it. May be I am making things more complicated than they are. I would be glad to use any other means to achieve my goal.   • UNC shared path not accessible though necessary permissions are set

    I have 2 environments A and B. A is an original environment whereas B is a clone of A, exactly except AD servers. AD server of B has been assigned a trust relationship with A, so that all the service and user accounts of A can be used in B too. And trusting works fine, perfect!! But I encounter some issues accessing UNC paths(\server2\shared) with these service accounts. I had a check in A environment and all the permissions set in that environment is done in B too (already set since it is a clone of A),but the issue is with B environment only. And FYI, the user is an owner of that folder in both the environments. I tried creating a folder inside the share(\server2\shared) using command prompt, but failed with error "access denied". What I done a workaround is that I added that user in "security" tab of folder permissions and after that it worked fine. But this was not done in the original environment. Is this something related to trust relationship? Why the share to the same location for the same user works differently in 2 environments, though they've been set with the same permissions. FYI, these are windows 2003 servers. Can someone please help.

    I have always used a control panel on my dedicated servers - from cPanel to Plesk to Virtualmin, and I am now considering ditching a CP altogether and manually editing config files. My requirements are fairly simple, I will host multiple sites on the server; some Apache with PHP & Mysql and some Passenger with Rails & Postgres. All will require email smtp/pop. FTP/Stats will not be required. Could someone please give me a quick run-down of what I would need to do - in terms of installing software and configuration? My server will come with a base install of CentOS 6.4 minimal. My thoughts so far: Install/update latest versions of MySQL & Postgres (are they 'safe' out of the box? Or do I need to do anything else like set up root passwords etc?) Install Apache & PHP (again, are the base installs good to go or do they require security tweaks?) Set up nameservers/hostnames/reverse DNS etc (Any guides on how to do this please?) Install Rubygems Install and configure Dovecot and Postfix (any tips on doing this? Or links to how-tos that cover it please?) Set up each website - any links to guides on how to do this? Install/configure firewall (or is the default install good to go?) Any other tips or advice would be greatly appreciated, as would links to guides or how-tos.
