  I joined an organisation in April 2010. I just changed my job in January 2012. I was previously working with Java. But in my current organisation, the work is not in java. They told me in the interview that the work will be use Java technology. But this is not the case. I dont want to lose my previous Java experience. And moreover, in my current company , I am working on a language which is not used anywhere. I want to change again. Can anyone please help and guide me that will there be any issue now in changing the job again.?

I want to create a simple user registration system that will ask for its name, email address, country (will pick one from a list) and phone number. So the question is...   I installed nagios3 on ubuntu server 10.04.1. It was working fine. Today, I found it stopped and when I tried to start it using sudo /etc/init.d/nagios3 start, it did not start. I found this in the log file: Nagios 3.2.0 starting... (PID=11729) Local time is Wed Dec 22 14:15:31 2010 Caught SIGSEGV, shutting down... I tried to remove and re-install it without success. After googling, it seems that no one has a solution for this. I don't want to install it from source unless it is really the last hope.

This occurs under the following circumstances: Type being tested is internal or private Method being tested is generic  Method being tested has an out parameter Type accessor functionality used to access the internal type The exception is not thrown if the InternalsVisibleToAttribute is assigned to the source assembly and the accessor type is not used; nor is it thrown if the method is not a generic method.   I've been doing a lot of reading these last two days on Microsoft Prism, but the thing I'm still not very sure of is what does the future look like for it? I know that version 4.1 was just released a few months ago, but besides Microsoft's own documentation, I haven't found many blog posts written in the last year on the subject, most of what I find is 2009-2010. It definitely looks interesting but the learning curve seems to be a bit steep and I wouldn't want to embark if it's going to become obsolete in the near future. Anyone has any insight on this?

  So I was playing around with NavigationNodeCollection, which is basically like SPNavigationNodeCollection just to make sure it worked without a hitch…Here is a little sample snippet of what should work: Unfortunately, you get a nice little javascript error that does not allow you to access the child nodes.  I tried a foreach() loop that gets a NavigationNode for each parent then loops through the NavigationNode.Children that did not work either.  I threw in two ExecuteQueryAsync statements thinking that would help, unfortunately adding a second statement provides no different results.  This appears to be a bug in the Silverlight Client Object Model.  I reported the error.  Hopefully, we get a fix by RTM so that we can use the easier method to get items into Silverlight, otherwise it’s back to WCF and cross domain policies.  We all love cross domain policies right? • Ubuntu not booting from USB on laptop (no optical drive)

  I'm using a Kingston 16GB USB, with the Unetbootin program. (I've tried both downloading the installation iso manually and adding it, or using the program to download.) I've tried creating the bootable USB on an iMac, the laptop and also a desktop. I've booted into the setup of the laptop and changed the boot order to make sure it boots from that drive first. (There is no optical drive so that isn't a problem.) It's an Acer Aspire AS3810TZ. Upon booting it gives this message: SYSLINUX 4.03 2010-10-22 EDD Copyright (C) 1994-2010 H. Peter Anvin et al I get this no matter how I create the USB, it just sits there. I left the laptop for an hour and it hadn't moved. I've also tried on a different 4GB USB (Generic) and that did the same.
