• WPF opposite of airspace issue

  I have a strange one here, I know there is a issue with airspace and transparency when opening up a web browser control within a WPF application. But in my instance I do not need transparency or opacity etc but the web pages are opening up with a strange overlay across them rather then showing solid colors? I have a WPF application that has a Grid and within the Grid there is a Frame and the frame source is a normal website url which is showing strange colors, as if there is a transparency/opacity issue going on? when I view the web page in a normal browser the page displays fine?

  I use HttpURLConnection to do HTTP POST but I dont always get back the full response. I wanted to debug the problem, but when I step through each line it worked. I thought it must be a timing issue so I added Thread.sleep and it really made my code work, but this is only a temporary workaround. I wonder why is this happening and how to solve. Is there way to make the box extend up and down so that the dialog remains centered ? also if there was enough content then it could potentially go beyond the bounds of the page so I would think I could use a max height to prevent that but what do I do if they re-size the window ? thanks for any help

  We have built an application that uses packages and components. When we debug the application, the "Event Log" in the IDE often shows the our BPLs are being loaded without debug information ("No Debug Info"). This doesn't make sense because all our packages and EXEs are built with debug. _(each project) | Options | Compiling_ [ x ] Assertions [ x ] Debug information [ x ] Local symbols Symbol reference info = "Reference info" [ ] Use debug .dcus [ x ] Use imported data references _(each project) | Options | Linking_ [ x ] Debug information Map file = Detailed We have 4 projects, all built with runtime pacakges: Core.bpl Components.bpl Plugin.bpl (uses both #1 & #2) MainApp.exe (uses #1) Problems Observed 1) Many times when we debug, the Components.bpl is loaded with debug info, but all values in the "Local Variables" window are blank. If you hover your mouse over a variable in the code, there is no popup, and Evaluate window also shows nothing (the "Result" pane is always blank). 2) Sometimes the Event Log shows "No Debug Info" for various BPLs. For instance, if we activate the Plugin.bpl project and set it's Run | Parameter's Host Application to be the MainApp.exe, and then press F9, all modules seems to load with "Has Debug Info" except for the Plugin.bpl module. When it loads, the Event Log shows "No Debug Info". However, if we close the app and immediately press F9, it will run it again without recompiling anything and this time Plugin.bpl is loaded with debug ("Has Debug Info"). Questions 1) What would cause the "Local Variables" window to not display the values? 2) Why are BPLs sometimes loaded without debug info when the BPL was complied with debug and all the debug files (dcu, map, etc.) are available?

• Create a SOCKS Proxy that does nothing special

  I am trying to create a SOCKS proxy in C++ that runs as a background process on localhost. If the user's browser is configured to use the proxy, I want all HTTP requests to be passed along through the normal TCP/IP stack. i.e. The browser will behave exactly as it normally would. Eventually I will add another layer which will check to see if the requested resource matches certain criteria, and if so will handle the request differently. But for now I'm just trying to solve the basic problem... how to create a SOCKS proxy that doesn't change anything?

  Hi all, I am having an issue with SaveFileDialog for some reason. All I want to do is extract data from a text box line by line and write it to a text file, then save that text file to the desktop. The first bit of code works fine (though it doesn't save to the desktop). The second bit of code is what I want to use, but when it creates the text file the text file is empty. What did I do wrong in my second bit of code?   I'm doing some in browser editing, and I have some content that's on the order of around 20k characters long in a <pre>. So it looks something like: <pre> Text 1 Text 2 Text 3 Text 4 [...] Text 20,000 </pre> I'd like to use jquery to trim it down when someone hits a button to chop, but I'm having trouble doing it without overloading the browser. Assume I know that the character numbers are at 16,510 - 17,888, and what I'd like to do is trim it. I was using: jQuery('#textsection').html(jQuery('textarea').html().substr(range.start)); But browsers seem to enjoy crashing when I do this. Alternatives?

When I send this response to Firefox it prints out the body "hello, world" but with Chromium it gives me a Error 100 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED): Unknown error. When compatibility mode is turned on (blue), the jQuery doesn't work at all.   Hello Everyone, For the majority of the time, my HTTP Requests work with no problem. However, occasionally they will hang. The code that I am using is set up so that if the request succeeds (with a response code of 200 or 201), then call screen.requestSucceeded(). If the request fails, then call screen.requestFailed(). When the request hangs, however, it does so before one of the above methods are called. Is there something wrong with my code? Should I be using some sort of best practice to prevent any hanging? • how to run javascript from c# code ?

  I have a webrequest that returns a html response which has form inside with hidden fields with some javascript that submits the form automatically on pageload ( if this was run in a browser). If I save this file as *.html and run this file in browser , the java script code automatically posts the form and the output is excel file. I want to be able to generate this file from a c# code which is not running in broswer. I tried mocking thr form post but its complicated and has various scenarios based on the original webrequest querystring. any pointers.... i know its not possible to probably run JS code that posts the form - from within c# code but still thought of chekcing if someone has done that.
