  Hi, I have a small script we're using to read in a CSV file containing employees, and perform some basic manipulations on that data. We read in the data (import_gd_dump), and create an Employees object, containing a list of Employee objects (maybe I should think of a better naming convention...lol). Is the logic/design sound? Anyhow, to the specifics: The Employees object has a method, clean_all_phone_numbers(), which calls clean_phone_number() on each Employee object inside it. Is this bad design? If so, why? Also, is the way I'm calling lookup_all_supervisors() bad? Originally, I wrapped the clean_phone_number() and lookup_supervisor() method in a single function, with a single for-loop inside it. clean_phone_number is O(n), I believe, lookup_supervisor is O(n^2) - is it ok splitting it into two loops like this? In clean_all_phone_numbers(), I'm looping on the Employee objects, and settings their values using return/assignment - should I be setting this inside clean_phone_number() itself? There's also a few things that I'm sorted of hacked out, not sure if they're bad practice - e.g. print_employee() and gd_formatted() both use __dict__, and the constructor for Employee uses setattr() to convert a dictionary into instance attributes. I'd value any thoughts at all. If you think the questions are too broad, let me know and I can repost as several split up (I just didn't want to pollute the boards with multiple similar questions, and the three questions are more or less fairly tightly related).   I am trying to redraw the part of the DrawingArea that is visible in the Viewport in the expose-event handler. However, it seems that I am doing something wrong with the coordinates that are passed to the event handler because there is garbage at the edge of the Viewport when scrolling. Can anyone tell what I am doing wrong? • plupload variable upload path?

  Hi all, I'm using plupload to upload files to my server (http://www.plupload.com/index.php), however I wanted to know if there was any way of making the upload path variable. Basically I need to select the upload path folder first, then choose the files using plupload and then upload to the initially selected folder. I've tried a few different ways but I can't seem to pass along the variable folder path to the upload.php file. I'm using the flash version of plupload.   Below is some code I am working on for a navigation menu, if you are on a certain page, it will add a "current" css class to the proper tab. I am curious if there is a better way to do this in PHP because it really seems like a lot of code to do such a simple task? My pages will also have a jquery library already loaded, would it be better to set the tab with jquery instead of PHP? • Parsing csv line to Java objects

  I was wondering if someone here could help me, I can't find a solution for my problem and I have tried everything. What I am trying to do is read and parse lines in a csv file into java objects and I have succeeded in doing that but after it reads all the lines it should insert the lines into the database but it only inserts the 1st line the entire time and I don't no why. When I do a print it shows that it is reading all the lines and placing them in the objects but as soon as I do the insert it wants to insert only the 1st line.   I am trying to set up a NFS server on an AWS instance running SLES11. After installing nfs-utils, I tried to export a test share. Here is what my /etc/exports file looks like: /opt/share1 ec2-50-16-224-79.compute-1.amazonaws.com(rw,async) export -ar returns the following message: exportfs: internal: no supported addresses in nfs_client domU-12-31-38-04-7E-02.compute-1.internal:/opt/share1: No such file or directory Any idea what the no supported addresses error means? • IIS_IUSRS group missing

  I am getting a 500.19 error when going to my site. I've tried to change the permissions on the directory but for some reason since about 2hrs ago the IIS_IUSRS group is completely gone now. I think I messed it up, how can I fix this? Update: I found the group, it just wasn't added to the inetpub folder, but now when I go to the website: www.example.com it forces you to login. I'm new to this web admin think I would GREATLY appreciate any help.

Webalizer ends up only storing the last ~4 days each time it runs, so I only ever get a rolling window of stats rather than the full month. How can I make Webalizer process the full set of logs?
