• Report group headings not repeating on every page.

  I have an RDLC report with three tables and associated data sets. In my second table, I cannot get the two 'header' rows to repeat on each printed page. When viewed interactively, each table is on its own page and this isn't a problem. When I switch to print layout, e.g. my second table now spans two pages, and the second page gets no header rows. Am I missing a setting or something? ADDED: I do have the 'Repeat Header columns on each page' checked.

• Validation plugin hijacks click function?

  Absolute newbie question, any help is highly appreciated :) I am using curvycorners (http://www.curvycorners.net/) in combination with the jQuery validation plugin (http://bassistance.de/jquery-plugins/jquery-plugin-validation/), and I'm having problems getting the div to redraw the rounded corners when I do like this: $("input[type='submit']").click(function(e) { curvyCorners.redraw(); }); When I click the submit-button the first time the form validates, the validation error-message pops up and expands the div, causing the layout to go ugly. However when I click on it the second time the rounded corners redraw nicely. Could it be that my validation plugin hijacks my initial click? How do I go about this? Any hint is very much appreciated.

  Hey, I got a working webpage with CodeIgniter. I did now just upload it to my webserver and it gives me a 404 error.   With the new sparse checkout feature in Git 1.7.0, is it possible to just get the contents of a subdirectory like how you can in SVN? I found this example, but it preserves the full directory structure. Imagine that I just wanted the contents of the 'perl' directory, without an actual directory named 'perl'. -- EDIT -- Example: My git repository contains the following paths repo/.git/ repo/perl/ repo/perl/script1.pl repo/perl/script2.pl repo/images/ repo/images/image1.jpg repo/images/image2.jpg repo/doc/ repo/doc/readme.txt repo/doc/help.txt What I want is to be able to produce from the above repository this layout: repo/.git/ repo/script1.pl repo/script2.pl However with the current sparse checkout feature, it seems like it is only possible to get repo/.git/ repo/perl/script1.pl repo/perl/script2.pl which is NOT what I want.   I want to be able to provide a button to my users to just print a particular portion of my dojo/dijit application. There seems to be a general lack of documentation and examples when it comes to printing. For example, I have a specific dijit.layout.ContentPane that contains the content that I would like to print, but I wouldn't want to print the rest of the document. I have seen some pure JavaScript examples on the web where the node.innerHTML is read into a "hidden" iframe and then printed from there. I suspect that would work, but I was wondering if there was a more dojo centric approach to printing. Any thoughts?

• How to get rid of Drupal CSS stylesheets?

  I am trying to accomplish the following. I need to use Drupal 6 as a project requirement, but I want to use it with my own HTML and CSS stylesheets for each node/view/panel etc. The problem is, whatever the theme, I always found that Drupal applies to my HTML content both my CSS stylesheets and the CSS related to the theme chosen. I have also tried, without success, using the stylestripper module (installed in sites/all/modules). No matter what I do, additional CSS stylesheets are applied to my pages, completely destroying my layout. What is the proper way to achieve this? Why stylestripper does not work at all? Is there a completely blank theme available? I have tried basic, mothership, zen etc, but I always see additional CSS stylesheets applied to my pages. This is driving me crazy, Drupal was chosen by someone else for its flexibility. Thank you in advance.

I have a swedish keyboard, to get the curly brace '{' I press alt(=option)+shift+8 in mac, but to get the same character in vmware/windows I should press alt+7. Obviously, I would like to have the same keyboard layout in mac and windows, how can I make this happen? I have been recommended to use autohotkey on Windows, but I have a problem mapping AltGr shift 8 to a character (i.e. <^!+8:{ does not work) (I state the question in this forum because I think that only programmers can answer it, we are the only ones that use the characters []{} )

BTN_1.setText("firsttext"); } Firstly, if I hit the home button and go back to the desktop and then click back onto my app the view has reset its self; if I press the button and leave it in a state where the text of the button is "secondtext", when I return to my app it says "firsttext", how can I stop the view of my app refreshing its self like this? Secondly, under my XML layout I have defined the buttons text; android:text="firsttext" But this won't actually match my if statement above, under onCreate of this app I have: BTN_CONNECT.setText("Connect"); But visually the text of the button is exactly the same, why won't it match?   In my Android application, when I rotate the device (slide out the keyboard) then my activity is restarted (onCreate is called). Now, this is probably how it's supposed to be, but I do a lot of initial setting up in the onCreate method, so I need either: 1. Put all the initial setting up in another function so it's not all lost on device rotation or 2. Make it so onCreate is not called again and the layout just adjusts or 3. Limit the app to just portrait so that onCreate is not called.

  I'm in the process of writing a python module that includes some samples. These samples aren't unit-tests, and they are too long and complex to be doctests. I'm interested in best practices for automatically checking that these samples run. My current project layout is pretty standard, except that there is an extra top level makefile that has build, install, unittest, coverage and profile targets, that delegate responsibility to setup.py and nose as required. projectname/ Makefile README setup.py samples/ foo-sample foobar-sample projectname/ __init__.py foo.py bar.py tests/ test-foo.py test-bar.py I've considered adding a sampletest module, or adding nose.tools.istest decorators to the entry-point functions of the samples, but for a small number of samples, these solutions sound a bit ugly.   So in an app I'm messing around with I programmatically create some buttons. Then I setContentView(); to a different page. Then if I come back to the original page (on which I placed the programmatically created buttons), they no longer exist. I guess this makes sense as I am calling setContentView(R.layout.main); again which is just the original xml file with no data pointing to the buttons. So is there a way to have the buttons persist over such screen transitions? Thanks.

  I need to add a basic form page in the website, that runs on WordPress framework. I have the following raw materials ready: Client side: html form layout,css and jquery validation code. Server side: form handler php function that processes the $_POST[] data. My problem is to integrate this code in the Wordpress framework. I have looked at some plugins but they are doing much more than I would like and also they have their own validation which is cumbersome to change.   The error "error parsing XML: unbound prefix" shows up on my main layout: main.xml when I first open Eclipse. To make the error go away, all I have to do is make a modification to the file, then undo it, then hit save (have to make a change in order to be able to save file and thus trigger the new syntax check). My environment is: Fedora Eclipse Platform Version: 3.4.2 Based on build id: 20090211-1700 My target is Android API level 5. The first time I saw the error I spent a long time trying to track down "the problem" but later realized there isn't really a problem, it's just a phantom error. • Help with force close occurrences in my app

  This is the last issue with this app. Periodic force close situations. I think something should be on another thread but I'm not sure what. Anyway, I can always count on a freeze on first install.
