  I'm looking for a fast IDE for Linux that has Find&Replace. I'm currently using Geany and I've tried NetBeans, and Aptana doesn't have a PHP plugin for 2.0. I prefer one that has a sense of projects. Does anyone have any suggestions?

• Hibernate Lazy Loading Proxy Incompatable w/ Other Frameworks

  I've come across several instances where frameworks that take POJOs to do some work crap-out with proxied hibernate beans. For example if I xml annotate a bean for framework X and pass it to framework X it doesn't recognise the bean because it is passed the proxied object - which has no annotations for framework X. Is there a common solution to this? I'd prefer not to define the bean as eager loaded, or turn of lazy-loading anywhere in the application. Thoughts? Thanks.

Support dashboard with "pretty" (for executive/director "eye" :-) reports. 3. For example class B; // forward declaration class A { private: B* pB; }; Would it be good idea to declare such a member as shared_ptr, instead of naked pointer? I would prefer scoped_ptr, but AFAIKit it won't be in standard.

• C#: Perform Operations on GPU, not CPU (Calculate Pi)

  Hello, I've recently read a lot about software (mostly scientific/math and encryption related) that moves part of their calculation onto the GPU which causes a 100-1000 (!) fold increase in speed for supported operations. Is there a library, API or other way to run something on the GPU via C#? I'm thinking of simple Pi calculation. I have a GeForce 8800 GTX if that's relevant at all (would prefer card independent solution though). Any hints are appreciated!

  Since the SQLite engine will not truncate the data you store in a text column, is there any advantage in being specific with column sizes when you define your schema? Let's suppose that: my gist repo is at: https://gist.github.com/1234 my new (empty) repo is at: https://github.com/ChrisJamesC/myNewProject The ideal solution would be one that pushes my changes on both the gist and the github repository. However, if it is not possible I will prefer the solution where everything is on github and I delete the gist.

• Is there a script that would allow me to edit multiple files as if they are one file in VIM?

  I prefer to edit in one large file rather than many independent files, but due to limitations in languages, source control, and the preference of team mates I need to output to many files. What I'm looking for would recurse through all the files in a source directory and generate a single file to edit in VIM, with special file seperator markers. On save it would save the the changes to the correct file(s) ideally in a smart manner, based only on changes made. Does something like this exist?

I would prefer not to call "[[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] objectForKey:..." repeatedly as it makes for inconcise code and I assume will incur overhead.
