• z-Index overlay in google maps version 3

  Hi, I'm trying to get an overlay in google maps api v3 to appear above all markers. But it seems that the google api always put my overlay with lowest z-index priority. Only solution i've found is to iterate up through the DOM tree and manually set z-index to a higher value. Poor solution.   Hi, I am struggeling with my UIScrollview to get it to zoom-in the underlying UIImageView. • Ext JS how to tell PagingToolbar to use parent Grid storage?

  I'm trying to build application that use single config passed by server as non native JSON (can contain functions). Everything works fine so far but I'm curious why PagingToolbar does not have an option to use parent Grid store? I have tried to set store in my config like this, but without success: {... store:Ext.StoreMgr.lookup('unique_store_id') } Is there any way to do so without writing tons of javascript for each view defining store, grid and other items in my application or at least extend functionality of PaginationToolbar that use options from parent object?   <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE8"> With this set my EPS files are not rendered in ABCpdf, but set to EmulateIE7 and they work fine. I know EPS aren't a standard web format but they are embedded into a PDF using a bit of ABCpdf magic. • Why is WPFToolkit DataGrid so slow when binding?

  I have a very simple test application where I have two objects, each with a small collection of items. when I select an object I display its collection in a WPFToolkit DataGrid. The problem is there is a noticeable delay, such that if you press up/down keys to toggle selection between objects you can see it can't keep up. • Coda-Slider Problem in ie7, need to remove horizontal scrollbar

  Hello, I am having a big issue with coda-slider and ie7. The horizontal scrollbar is unwanted and I cannot figure out how to remove it. Since coda-slider works as one long scrolling div, I could see why this is happening, however, in all other broswers, including ie8, there is no horizonal scroll.   This is an age old problem of interactive elements inside interactive elements, but I want a ScatterViewItem to contain other surface interactive elements such as a SurfaceButton or SurfaceCheckBox. I've got all my elements in there and they react to taps etc. The problem is that I only get the normal ScatterView behavior once I click on an area that does not contain a control. Is there an elegant solution to allow dragging even when the contact is on a SurfaceButton or SurfaceCheckbox? e.g. <s:ScatterView > <Grid Width="200" Height="200"> <s:SurfaceButton /> </Grid> </s:ScatterView>

• Javacript in html - Using single quote inside another single quote

  document.getElementById("img").innerHTML="< img src='/sitepath/"+imgg+".jpg' width='72' height='44' onclick='alert('hello');' />"; The above code is my javascript. Problem is printing hello or any other string. If I just type 123 in place of hello, it does give alert. But am not able to use a string like hello there. Normally a string in an alert function is kept inside quotes ' ' but the entire content is inside double quotes and I have already used single quote at the beginning of onclick function. I tried using Escape character ("\") but it didnt help. Any suggestions?

Is it shipped with OS like XP, Vista, etc. I am using WPF application having TIFF image, which is having some issues ie the image is showing black with certain height; someone on the forum suggested that it might be the issue with WIC version 1. Can anybody please tell me how to find the Version of WIC. But strangely 'The smooth animated scroll' stopped working in safari and chrome(scrolling without smooth animation) after I made some changes. But it is working smoothly in Firefox. What could be wrong? • issues with horizontal scrolling using jQuery.ScrollTo / jQuery.SerialScroll

  Hi, I am trying to develop auto horizontal scrolling for our website using - jQuery.ScrollTo / jQuery.SerialScroll. I am not sure if this is the best jquery library to do that, but if there's something better, please let me know. Here's the behavior that I want, check out foursquare's "Recent Activity" list. The data that will refresh will come from a ajax request that I make every few seconds using window.setInterval. I am not really a CSS/java script guy so I havent been able to figure out jQuery.SerialScroll. Here's the website - look at the "Live job Feeds" list. Currently the list does refresh the data coming from the ajax call, but I dont see the effect, the animation, in fact I dont even think serialScroll is being used. Right now I am doing a - $('#feed-ticker').prepend(content) to pre-append the newly arrived data. You can do a view source to look at the current code. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

But I am expecting to have a submit button inside the Html begin form and use that substitution to submit the list of files with some more parameters. But when I do that the passing IEnumerable is always null in the Action method. • Firefox extension that overlays persistent iFrame?

  Is it possible to build a Firefox extension that displays a floating, persistent iFrame over the page content? I know it's possible to add iFrames using XUL. For instance, you can add an iFrame to a persistent sidebar. However, I want the iFrame to float over the page content, not cause the content to shrink. So far, my only option is to add the iFrame to the DOM, then use CSS "fixed" positioning to float the iFrame. The iFrame must also persist across page loads, exactly as the sidebar does. Adding an iFrame to the DOM, unfortunately, causes the iFrame to vanish when the browser renders a new page (e.g., after clicking a link). Any clues? Thanks!

• Why isn't TextBox.Text in WPF animatable?

  Ok, I have just run into something that is really catching me off-guard. I was helping a fellow developer with a couple of unrelated questions and in his project he was animating text into some TextBlock(s). So, I went back to my desk and recreated the project (in order to answer his questions), but I accidentally used TextBox instead of TextBlock. My text wasn't animating at all! (A lot of help, I was!) Eventually, I figured out that his xaml was using TextBlock and mine was using TextBox. What is interesting, is that Blend wasn't creating key frames when I was using TextBox. So, I got it to work in Blend using TextBlock(s) and then modified the xaml by hand, converting the TextBlock(s) into TextBox(es). When I ran the project, I got the following error: InvalidOperationException: '(0)' Storyboard.TargetProperty path contains nonanimatable property 'Text'. Well, it seems as if Blend was smart enough to know that ... and not generate the key frames in the animation (it would just modify the value directly on the TextBox). +1 for Blend. So, the question became: why isn't TextBox.Text animatable? The usual answer is that the particular property you are animating isn't a DependencyProperty. But, this isn't the case, TextBox.Text is a DependencyProperty. So, now I am bewildered! Why can't you animate TextBox.Text? Let me include some xaml to illustrate the problem.   Hello I have a such model: Foo (models.Model): slug = models.SlugField(unique=True) image = models.ImageField(upload_to='uploads/') I want to do two things with this: First of all, I want my image to be forced to resize to a specific width and height after the upload. I have tried this reading the documentation but seems to getting error: image = models.ImageField(upload_to='uploads/', height_field=258, width_field=425) Secondly, when adding an item via admin panel, I want my image's file name to be renamed as same as slug, if any issue arises (like if such named image already exists, add "_" to the end as it used to do. IE: My slug is i-love-you-guys , uploaded image such have i-love-you-guys.png at the end.

• Dynamically resizing CMFCPropertySheet with PropSheetLook_OneNoteTabs style

  Hi everybody, I'm trying to resize dynamically a CMFCPropertySheet to add a custom control at the bottom of each page. As all Property Pages are not of the same height, I have a mechanism to increase the size if necessary. For this, I have overridden the OnActivatePage method and by using SetWindowPos, I can resize the sheet, first, then the tab control, then the page and finally I can move the OK/Cancel/Help buttons. It works fine with PropSheetLook_OutlookBar and PropSheetLook_Tabs styles but not with PropSheetLook_OneNoteTabs style. The page (or the tab) is not correctly resized (the lighter grey color of the page does not fill the sheet. OneNote style Outlook style Any idea? A MFC Feature Pack bug?

  Blend 4 is telling me this is invalid markup and its not telling me why: <ImageBrush Stretch="Fill" ImageSource="{Binding Avatar, Mode=OneWay}"/> I'm pulling data from a Twitter feed, saving to an ImageSource, and then binding it to an ImageBrush(as seen below) to be used as the Fill for a Rectangle. • UINavigationController inside UINavigationController view issue

  I have two navigationcontrollers a main one and a sub one. The sub one is displaying inside the main one, which I am also hiding its navigationbar. as a result I am having some weird issues (things inside the view are being pushed down exactly the height of the navigationbar i am hiding) with the stuff I am displaying on the inside of the sub navigationcontroller. it looks like this. The left view is what I am doing in interface builder and the resulting view in the simulator. any help would be greatly appreciated. UPDATE: Here is the view with the subnav bar turned on so you can see the structure of my view. and here is the same view with the subnav turned off... can you see how the A is still sitting lower than it should be.. wel I think its because of the main navbar now as the whole subnavbar sits inside this view.. Last update that shows whats missing from the view

• Convert Bitmap Files into JPEG using the GD library in PHP

  I have been trying to figure out a way to convert bitmap files into a JPEG using the GD library in PHP. I have tried numerous implementations but nothing seems to work. I have tried to tell my client that they should not use Bitmap files but he insists and quite frankly does not comprehend enough about computers to convert them to JPG on his own. I can not use ImageMagick on this server and I need a pure GD solution. Thank you in advance for any and all help. EDIT: The bitmap images that are being used are 16-bit and that is where the problem is occurring.
