  • SSL, CNAME, and multiple domains

    Say I have an SSL Certificate for a super cool site that I offer, like https://secure.coolsite.com/ (Not my site, just an example). Then lets say I had a customer who wanted to have a CNAME to my site on his server, like https://mycoolsite.his-site.com/ Would he need a regular SSL certificate on his end, would I need to have a second certificate on my end (And just "install" it on my webserver), or would I need a multi-domain SSL certificate, or he just has to list my site as an alias on his certificate?     Possible Duplicate: iPad Simulator (install ipa on pc) My platforms are Linux and Windows. Now I have a software whose extension is .ipa I am looking for a way to run this file either on Windows or on Linux. There exists Wine which can run .exe files on Linux, similarly is there something which can run .ipa either on linux or windows?? I am also comfortable with getting into virtualization and emulation to get the software work!

  • Enso application crashes.

    I've been a fan of enso http://www.humanized.com/enso/ for quite a while, but for the past several years I've had problems with it crashing, I've never been able to get it work reliably with Windows 7. Has anyone had any luck with this? I've tried the open source edition but it hasn't been any better (when I can get it to install at all) and development is moving pretty slowly. Has anyone had any luck getting enso to work reliably on Vista or 7?

  • Bluetooth not working in Windows 8

    I am using Windows 8 Enterprise edition. Bluetooth is not detected by the OS and drivers. I tried to install Windows 7 bluetooth drivers, but it says no bluetooth device is detected. If I change to Windows 7 without any driver, bluetooth is working. This issue exists in developer preview, consumer preview and release preview. I don't know how to turn on bluetooth. System Config : 3Gp ram, Core2Duo processor.

  • SSD installed but system reserved drive is visible, how to fix?

    I've just installed an SSD as primary boot drive. During install, a system reserved partition was allocated (not very big) around 100MB. Problem is the drive is visible in explorer and its assigned to D: Anyone else had this problem, and is there a way to somehow hide that drive from explorer, and also get back the drive letter assignment?   • How do I upgrade mongodb 1.8 to 2.2 on ubuntu?

    Following this guide: http://docs.mongodb.org/manual/tutorial/install-mongodb-on-ubuntu/ I ended up with mongodb 18 on my Ubuntu 10.04. I've just read the 2.2 mongodb release notes on upgrading and it says to just replace the binary. Would that be /usr/lib/mongodb/mongod ? It looks like the 2.2 tar has several files I might need to copy over: mongo, mongod, mongoexport, mongodump, mongofiles, mongoimport, mongorestore, mongos, xulwrapper Can I just copy and paste all of those over to replace the old versions of those files?

  • VMWare Player does not save changes in guest operating system

    I have installed VMWare Player in my Windows 7 Ultimate and I have added Ubuntu 12.10 in a virtual machine. The problem is that every time I power off the virtual machine everything is lost. I mean every program I install or folder i save or anything else is lost completely. And when I start the again the virtual machine is like newly installed. Is there an option to change this (strange) behaviour?

  • How do I fix this strange Windows 7 menu behavior?

    On my Windows 7 64bit Pro install, for no apparent reasons, all menus suddenly align with their right side lined up with the menu item, rather than the traditional left side. This happens regardless of what may be crowding the screen or menus. If I maximize the app, all the first sets of menu items will open with their menu slammed against the left side of the screen. Anyone have any idea what this might be or how I can revert to default behavior?

    I'm downloaded version 37.0 of Google Chrome but, few plugins and extensions didn't worked. I'm uninstalled that version and install 35.0 again, but now i have some errors.     How can I verify if a ssh public key is successfully installed on a Ubuntu server? I'm trying to unable continuos deployment and to do so I need to install the public key I got from codeship on the server. I have copied the key I got on the server at ~/.ssh/authorized_keys/id_rsa.pub and restarted ssh but I'm still not able to deploy my app so as first debugging step I'd like to make sure the public key is properly installed on the server.     I created a 50GB partition on my hard drive to experiment with installing a 2nd copy of W7. (I wanted to see if a clean install would fix a bug) However, It seems I can no longer access the old part of my computer the way it was before. I was under the impression that creating a partition like this was harmless. Is there anyway to change my primary partition back to what the computer boots to? Thanks

What if some virus (or a pseudo-antivirus gets it) M.b. it is better to buy Mac for this purpose?
