    Hi, I want to excluse a specific filename (say, fubar.log) from a shell (bash) globbing string, *.log. Nothing of what I tried seems to work, because globbing doesn't use the standard RE set. Test case : the directory contains fubar.log fubaz.log barbaz.log text.txt and only fubaz.log barbaz.log must be expanded by the glob.

  • How to compare DateTime Objects while looping through a list?

    I'm trying to loop through a list (csv) containing two fields; a name and a date. There are various duplicated names and various dates in the list. I'm trying to deduce for each name in the list, where there are multiple instances of the same name, which corresponding date is the latest. I realise, from looking at another answer, that I need to use the DateTime.Compare method which is fine, but my problem is working out which date is later. Once I know this I need to produce a file with unique names and the latest date relating to it. This is my first question which makes me a newbie. EDIT: Initially I thought it would be 'ok' to set the LatestDate object to a date that wouldn't show up in my file, therefore making any later dates in the file the LatestDate.     Here is something that has bogged me down for quite sometime. I have created two fiddles so you can test live: Fiddle #1: http://www.jsfiddle.net/Jdk9R/2/ Fiddle #2: http://www.jsfiddle.net/d5PEu/ Looking at the Fiddle #1 you can make out that if the text is not formatted properly with spaces, the text overflows the border. How do i make this function similar to fiddle #2? Or is this unavoidable?

  • How can I set a default sort for tables in PHPMyAdmin (i.e. always "Primary key - Descending")

    Even though its obnoxious in a lot of ways I use PHPMyAdmin all the time to debug database issues while writing PHP. By default it sorts tables by primary key ascending. 99% of the time I would rather have the newest data (my test data) shown at the top by default rather than the useless first few records ever saved. Is there a way to configure PHPMyAdmin to show the newest records by default? To alter similar behavior?

"the file 'Simple-Info.plist' could not be opened because there is no such file".But the file is there in the project!     We are having a problem with our selenium tests which run in IE on a virtual machine. Whenever there is a javascript error, a popup shows up and puts our system into a 'stuck' state - a user has to go clear that and restart the selenium test run. Is there a way to prevent the javascript error popup from putting the system into its stuck state? Would setting window.error be of any help here?

I have noticed that refreshing the page only fails on pages with maps, so I'm guessing these are related. Does anyone have a clue?
