  • Why must I use local path rather than 'svn://' with SVN bindings?

    - by Chad Johnson
I'm using the Ruby SVN bindings built with SWIG. Here's a little tutorial. When I do this @repository = Svn::Repos.open('/path/to/repository') I can access the repository fine. But when I do this @repository = Svn::Repos.open('svn://localhost/some/path') It fails with /SourceCache/subversion/subversion-35/subversion/subversion/libsvn_subr/io.c:2710: 2: Can't open file 'svn://localhost/format': No such file or directory When I do this from the command line, I do get output svn ls svn://localhost/some/path Any ideas why I can't use the svn:// protocol?

    - by eric2323223
Hi, I want to use bat to automate some of my work. It should first look up the value of a certain registry key, and then copy some files to the directory that included in the registry key value. I used reg query command to look up registry, such as: REG QUERY "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment" /v PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE The result seems contains carriage return and I need to remove it, I've tried some solutions but all failed. Could anyone help me?

  • .htaccess mod_rewrite subdomains

    - by Aaron
.htaccess: RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^site\.com$ [NC] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.site.com/$1 [L,R=301] RewriteRule ^new/?$ index.php?section=new This works great and all, but I have recently implemented a subdomain m.site.com which reads off of a /mobile directory. When accessing m.site.com/new it will not display anything except return a server error. What can I do to correct this problem? Basically, I want http://m.site.com/new To achieve the same affect as http://www.site.com/new

  • java beginner- in which folder should I place a "database.properties" file

    - by Arvind
I read some tutorials on how to read data from a database.properties file- which basically stored key-value pairs. What i want to know is, in which folder should I place this file? Is it in the root (ie "src") or within a package... And how do I access this file, if it is placed in "src"- my code will be within a package (and the package's directory will be under src)- so how do I access the properties file, which is in "src", from a class within a package?

  • Specify build folder for iphone application

    - by Martin KS
I've written an app that uses some of the user's camera roll images, and while it does so it stores them in the application root directory. The problem I have is that whenever I re-compile my application it changes the folder to which the application is installed. Is there any way I can specify which folder it should build to, so that any path information stored during it's last run will still be valid?

  • Filter to values in collection in one query

    - by dotnetdev
Hi, I have the following LINQ query: List<string> Types = (List<string>) Directory.GetFiles(@"C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727") Where(x => System.IO.Path.GetFileNameWithoutExtension(x).Contains("Microsoft")) .ToList<string>(); How could I modify this so it can only get the values stored in a collection, without writing another LINQ query (which I assume will impact performance?)? Thanks

  • How would I write this shell script as a Windows batch script?

    - by Jeremy Banks
I haven't had a chance to test this script, I'm just using it as a suitable pseudocode. It's just supposed to copy all files in the current directory into a timestamped subdirectory. ID="$(date +%Y%b%d%H%M%S)" COMMITABLE="$(ls | egrep --invert-match ^(STATES|PARENT)\$)" STATE_PATH="$(pwd)/STATES/$ID" mkdir --parents "$STATE_PATH" cp $COMMITABLE "$STATE_PATH" ln -s "$STATE_PATH" PARENT

  • Is there a simple PHP development server?

    - by pinchyfingers
When writing web apps in Python, it brain dead easy to run a development server. Django and Google App Engine both ship with simple servers. The main feature I'm looking for is no configuration. I want something like the GAE dev server where you just pass the directory of the app as a parameter when the server is started. Is there a reason that this is more difficult with PHP?
