  • Bizarre problem with WPF XAML file.

    I've just started a very simple WPF application which consists of a main large image and four smaller images. In order to assist with the layout, I created some JPEGs in MsPaint containing the images -2, -1, 0, +1 and +2 and just copied them into the top level of the project directory. Details | V The file plus2.jpg is not part of the project or its 'Build Action' property is not set to 'Resource'. Yet if I rename the file to plus3.jpg or plus2x.jpg, I don't have that problem. Why is it complaining about plus2.jpg specifically?

    I'm unsatisfied with other JavaScript libraries and frameworks like jQuery, MooTools, and Raphael, because of their inability to support SVG grouping. You'd think it'd be a very simple thing for them to implement. Anyway, I'm trying to make a JavaScript class (using John Resig's class.js script) like this: var El = Class.extend({ el: null, svgNS: "http://www.w3.org/2000/svg", init: function (type) { this.el = document.createElementNS(this.svgNS, type); }, set: function (name, attr) { this.el.setAttributeNS(null, name, attr); }, get: function (el, name) { var attr = this.el.getAttributeNS(null, name); return attr; }, add: function (targEl) { targEl.el.appendChild(this.el); }, remove: function (targEl) { targEl.el.removeChild(this.el); }, setEl: function (docId) { this.el = document.getElementById(docId); } }); I can add elements to the DOM using these statements outside of the class, but storing the element inside the class becomes problematic. Anyone have any creative ideas?

However, when the consumer closes the StreamWriter, it also disposes the MeamoryStream... :-( Any thoughts on how to pursue this?

The code above works partially - the divs will show when the correct button is checked, but I need to add in some code to make the divs hide again once the button is unchecked. Thanks!

    I have this fantastic little plugin working but I need to require that at least one name be selected. I normally use jquery.validate. However, the validation plugin does not appear to work on a field using the tokeninput. Does anyone have an answer?   • I can't upload mp3 files using Codeigniter

    There are lots of suggested fixes for this but none of them work for me. I have tried making the upload class (using the following methods: http://codeigniter.com/forums/viewthread/148605/ and http://codeigniter.com/forums/viewthread/125441/). When i try to upload an mp3 i get the error message "The filetype you are attempting to upload is not allowed". Below is my code for my model and my form (i've got a very skinny controller).     I have set up my mapping file and classes as suggested by many articles class A { ... IList BBag {get;set;} ... } class B { ... A aObject {get;set;} ... } <class name="A">...<bag name="BBag" table="B" inverse="true" lazy="false"><key column="A_ID" /><one-to-many class="B" /></bag>... <class name="B">...<many-to-one name="aObject" class="A" column="A_ID" />... I added a set of A's to the A table and a set of B's to the B table, all the data is stored as expected. However if I try and access aInstance.BBag.Count I get a null reference exception. I think I missing some key knowledge on how an bag gets instantiated. Thanks

    Hi there. We've got this very annoying problem with Scriptaculous and Internet Explorer 7/8. We have two Effect.toggles on the same page, but only one of them is ever working (the first one). I hope it's some simple mistake in my implementation, but I can't seem to find any decent documentation. Hopefully somebody here can help. If we were to do a similar test on the following code, public abstract class A { public int ID { get; set; } } public class B : A { public string Name { get; set; } } the call typeof(B).GetProperties(BindingFlags.Public | BindingFlags.Instance) will return an array of PropertyInfo objects for "ID" and "Name". Is there an easy way to find all the properties in the inheritance hierarchy for interfaces as in the first example?

Fron page 88-89: >>> class Worker: def __innit__(self, name, pay): self.name=name self.pay=pay def lastName(self): return self.name.split()[-1] def giveRaise(self, percent): self.pay*=(1.0+percent) Then the book says "Calling the class like a function generates instances of a new type ...etc" and gives this example. bob = Worker('Bob Smith', 50000) This gives me this error: TypeError: this constructor takes no arguments. And then I start muttering profanities. So what am I doing wrong here? Thanks for the help.

    Hi guy, I need to integrate struts with spring for a project. I read the doc to ingrate struts and it's ok for classic beans but I have a problem for my forms. I have a form like this in my struts-config.xml: <form-beans> <form-bean name="creationForm" type="org.apache.struts.validator.DynaValidatorActionForm" > <form-property name="libelle" type="java.lang.String" /> <form-property name="quantite" type="java.lang.String" /> <form-property name="prix" type="java.lang.String" initial="10" /> </form-bean> But it's strange for me to have a "type" in struts-config because it's spring which manages beans. I don't found anything in the doc to manage forms by spring and the attribute "type" is mandatory for form in struts-config. Someone can help me please ?
