  • Add PRISM Region Manager In Existing Navigation Window

    We have a "legacy" WPF applicaton that is based on a NavigationWindow. The NavigationWindow has a fairly large ControlTemplate that houses a ContentPresenter as so: <ControlTemplate> ....snip... <ContentPresenter x:Name="PART_NavWinCP" VerticalAlignment="Stretch" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch"/> .....snip.... </ControlTemplate> What we want to do is use that ContentPresenter as the first tab and dynamically add other tabs at run time. Like this: <ControlTemplate> ....snip... <TabControl Background="Transparent" cal:RegionManager.RegionName="MainRegion" Grid.ColumnSpan="2" VerticalAlignment="Stretch" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch"> <TabItem Header="Nav Window Content"> <ContentPresenter x:Name="PART_NavWinCP" VerticalAlignment="Stretch" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch"/> </TabItem> </TabControl> .....snip.... </ControlTemplate> Then our Modules grab the RegionName and insert their content dynamically. The issue seems to be that the PRISM region manager doesn't like that our code is in a ContentTemplate and cannot resolve the region. I have tried updating the RegionManager, adding the Region dynamically, just having a root tab control without the ContentPresenter, but I cannot get this to work. Any ideas?

    I get this error with this description. Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_PRIMEOUTPUTFAILED. The PrimeOutput method on component "OLE DB Source" (1) returned error code 0xC02020C4. The component returned a failure code when the pipeline engine called PrimeOutput(). The meaning of the failure code is defined by the component, but the error is fatal and the pipeline stopped executing. There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure.

  • asp.net ajax control toolkit combobox displays incorectly when in fieldset with style of position:re

    I currently have an Instance of the ASP.net ajax control toolkit combo box residing in a field set with a style of position:releative applied. The control also sits in a very plain table (please no comments about using tables for lay-out, I know it is evil and try to avoid it). There are two problems with the display of the list: The list does not sit flush with the text box. In I.E. 7 (which is the majority of my target audience, intranet where IE7 is the company standard) the list display about 10px below the fieldset, which is what the bottom margin of the fieldset is set to. In FF 2.0 the list sits sinificantly lower and off-set to the right. Below the filed set there is more content in a div, also with a style of position:relative applied. The list from the combo box displays behind the content of this div, which is obviouly an issue. Removing position:releative from the fieldset resolves the display issue of the combo box, but results in other unwanted display side effects. My interim workaround is to specifically restyle this fieldset without the position:absolute style, but I'm hoping for a better solution. Thanks

    I need to compare documents stored in a DB and come up with a similarity score between 0 and 1. The method I need to use has to be very simple. Implementing a vanilla version of n-grams (where it possible to define how many grams to use), along with a simple implementation of tf-idf and Cosine similarity. Is there any program that can do this? Or should I start writing this from scratch?

  • Using two versions of the same assembly (system.web.mvc) at the same time

    I'm using a content management system whose admin interface uses MVC 1.0. I would like to build the public parts of the site using MVC 2. If I just reference System.Web.Mvc version 2 in my project the admin mode doesn't work as the reference to System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage created by the views in the admin interface is ambiguous: The type 'System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage' is ambiguous: it could come from assembly 'C:\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\System.Web.Mvc\2.0.0.0__31bf3856ad364e35\System.Web.Mvc.dll' or from assembly 'C:\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\System.Web.Mvc\1.0.0.0__31bf3856ad364e35\System.Web.Mvc.dll'. Please specify the assembly explicitly in the type name. I could easily work around this by using binding redirects to specify that MVC 2 should always be used. Unfortunately the content management systems admin mode isn't compatible with MVC 2. I'm not exactly sure why, but I start getting a bunch of null reference exceptions in some of it's actions when I try it and the developers of the CMS have confirmed that it isn't compatible with MVC 2 (yet). The admin interface which is accessed through domain.com/admin is not physically located in webroot/admin but in the program files folder on the server and domain.com/admin is instead routed there using a virtual path provider. Therefor, putting a separate web.config file in the admin folder to specify a different version of System.Web.Mvc for that part of the site isn't an option as that won't fly when using shared hosting. Can anyone see any solution to this problem? Perhaps it's possible to specify that for some assemblies a different version of a referenced assembly should be used?

  • Can't install plugins in Eclipse 3.5 (Galileo) on Ubuntu

    Eclipse Version 3.5.2 Build id: M20100211-1343 Platform: Ubuntu 10.4 I go to install any new software Eclipse plugins (e.g., pydev, subclipse), and it gets to the 60% mark and stops. I wait for a long while and nothing happens. When I hit "cancel" a security warning comes up "Warning: You are installing software that contains unsigned content.." I click "OK" but it's too late because I've cancelled the installation already. It won't pop up until I hit "cancel". I've tried moving all the windows around, that security warning is not there. In previous incarnations of Eclipse, I've been able to click "OK" on that warning (no canceling) and all is well. I've also tried two JREs (Ubuntu's default openjdk and Sun's JDK 1.6.0_20). Is there some way to get that warning to come up, or even just have it always accept unsigned content? I've downloaded the zip of pydev and unzipped it into ~/.eclipse/org.eclipse.platform_3.5.0_155965261/ and Eclipse doesn't have Pydev when restarted, so manually installing plugins is also a pain. This is not my day. Yes, I see the other questions of this type and they don't seem to answer my problem.

  • How to programmatically show & hide BalloonPopupExtender?

    I have a page that will be having few buttons that will redirect user to certain pages that required them to login before to proceed to the page. I would like to have something like, when user click on the button that required login and if user is not logged in prior to the click, a tooltip will show up beside the 'User ID' textbox to inform user to login in order to proceed. So, I implemented the jQuery Tooltipster in the page to show the tooltip message. I'm having problem on IE8 in Windows XP where the first click on the button, the tooltip would show up, but the second click it wouldn't then the third click, it shows up again and then the fourth click, it wouldn't! But for IE8 in Windows 7, IE9 & IE10, they have no such problem. Any idea how to fix this? The 'imgBtnKISS' & 'lnkBtnKISS' buttons are located in a content page but the tooltip and the 'User ID' textbox are in a master page.   • jquery load and tinymce gives me a "g.win.document is null" on subsequent loads

    So... very excited as first post on stackoverflow I have this page, clicking a button will call editIEPProgram(). editIEPProgram counts how many specific divs exists, adds another div, loads it with html from '/content/mentoring/iep_program.php' and then calls $("textarea.tinymce").tinymce to add a rich text editor to the newly added text boxes. It finally adds a tab which handles the new stuff and bob is your uncle. It ALMOST works. Clicking the button the first adds everything and everything woks, on the second and subsequent click, everything is added but the tinymce fails to initiate (I guess) and gives me "g.win.document is null".   • Why do I get a connection error / timeout when using python suds to connect to Microsoft CRM?

    When I try to connect to an MS CRM web service using suds/python-ntlm, I am getting a timeout on requests. However, the code that I'm trying to replace -- which calls out to the cURL command line app to do the same call -- succeeds. Clearly something is different in the way that cURL is sending the command data, but I'll be damned if I know what the difference is. Below are the full details of the various calls.   • WPF touch and slide/drag animation

    I'm trying to create a pretty simple WPF interface, and from what I know this should be mostly possible using pure XAML. What I know I have a pretty basic understanding of WPF so far, however I have a decent grasp on XAML. I know or can work out how to put content in these panels. This isn't the topic of this question. What I don't know I don't know how to animate this interface. I'm not very proficient at binding, however again, that's not the topic of this question. The topic of this question is what would be the best way to animate panels 1-4 (images below) so that they may be dragged (via touch) into view.     I'm struggling with AJAX POST from the form that was loaded into Twitter Bootstrap modal dialog. Partial view form goes like this: @using (Html.BeginForm()) { // fields // ... // submit <input type="submit" value="@ButtonsRes.button_save" /> } Now this is being used in non AJAX editing with classic postbacks. Is it possible to use the same partial for AJAX functionality? Or should I abstract away the inputs into it's own partial view? Like this: @using (Ajax.BeginForm()) { @Html.Partial("~/Views/Shared/ImageEditInputs.cshtml") // but what to do with this one then? <input type="submit" value="@ButtonsRes.button_save" /> } I know how to load this into Bootstrap modal but few changes should be done on the fly: the buttons in Bootstrap modal should be placed in a special container (the modal footer), the AJAX POST should be done when clicking Save which would first, validate the form and keep the modal opened if not valid (display the errors of course) second, post and close the modal if everything went fine in the view that opened the modal, display some feedback information at the top that save was succesful. I'm mostly struggling where to put what JS code.     Hello, I'm currently working on a GWT project, in which I need to use a "carousel" widget. The carousel widget is supposed to display pieces of information and 2 arrows - when the user clicks on one of the arrow, the content is moved with an animation and replaced with new content. I've been looking through the available widget libs, but the "carousel" widget does not seem to be that available. The only real candidate I found is the gwt-yui-carousel widget (see link below), but this seems to be an overload of ressources - though it does almost exactly what I need, but instead of displaying simple images, I'll have to display, in MVP terms, a view/presenter. Here is the widget running : http://gwt-yui-carousel.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/www/com.gwtyuicarousel.javascriptload.JavaScriptLoad/javascriptload.html (coming from here : http://code.google.com/p/gwt-yui-carousel/ ). Is there a better carousel widget available that I would not know of ? Or should I extend an existing one to create the desired effect ? Would you recommend to use the gwt-yui-carousel (I don't think so) ? If there is no better option, do you think that it would be a good idea to create the widget myself ? Note that I think that the key thing is, here, that I'll have to display presenter/views, which will fetch data in DataBase on arrow clicks and so on - so a customisation of an existing widget would be required, or the chosen widget should be able to display a list of GWT Widgets. Again I don't think that I can use one of the existing usual carousel widgets, since those are not "gwt-oriented" and could not support view/presenters and all this gwt stuff ;) Any answer would be greatly appreciated :) Best regards, Nils

    I have an Excel spreadsheet. I am connecting to an Access database via ODBC. Set oQuery = oConn.CreateQueryDef("tmpQuery") oQuery.Sql = "SELECT idField, memoField FROM myTable" Set oRs = oQuery.OpenRecordset The problem now arises. My field is a dbMemo because the maximum content length is up to a few hundred chars. It's not that long, and in fact the value I'm reading is only a dozen characters. But Excel just doesn't seem able to handle the Memo field content at all. My code... ActiveCell = oRs.Fields("memoField") ...gives error Run-time error '3146': ODBC--call failed. Any suggestions? Can Excel VBA actually get at memo field data? Or is it just completely impossible. I get exactly the same error from GetChunk as well. ActiveCell = oRs.Fields("memoField").GetChunk(0, 2) ...also gives error Run-time error '3146': ODBC--call failed. Converting to a text field makes everything work fine. However some data is truncated to 255 characters of course, which means that isn't a workable solution.

When I mount the shares from a client using NFSv3 (mount.nfs 10.0.0.51:/exports/video /mnt -o vers=3,soft,intr,timeo=10), it works. However, I would like to use NFSv4 because of improved security and performance. When I try to mount an NFSv4 share on malbec the mount command just hangs and finally times out after 2 minutes. How do I make the clients mount the NFSv4 shares as NFSv4? How do I troubleshoot NFS? There is no information in the syslog on neither client nor server. What are any errors in my configuration?
