• WordPress contact form email as PDF

  I am using the below code for my WordPress site which is emailing all the form details as an HTML text but I need the details to be written into a PDF first and then have to email the PDF as an attachment. How can I achieve this? This is not a PHP code to use PHP's writePDF modules. • How to add a skin engine to asp.net MVC system

  I'm implementing a solution in ASP.NET MVC that later can be applied to couple of other fields. To do so it will require to re-brand the UI even though the underlying business logic wont need to change. I'd like to write the code in such a way that will allow other developers to only develop code that will only changes the UI. This is similar to the way that themes can be written against Wordpress Blog software. Can any one suggest how to organize my project to make such feature work?

I am having this problem for couple of days, but was unable to found the answer on the net. These are the things I have found out so far. 1. "Access violation" exception crushes my managed application My C# WinForms app sometimes closes with an "Access violation" exception ("Attempted to read or write protected memory"), right in the moment when selecting a TabPage in a windows form TabControl. From the stack trace (try/catch around Application.Run) I can see that the exception happens at System.Windows.Forms.UnsafeNativeMethods.DispatchMessageW(MSG& msg), called inside UnsafeNativeMethods.IMsoComponentManager.FPushMessageLoop(Int32 dwComponentID, Int32 reason, Int32 pvLoopData). -- Message: Attempted to read or write protected memory. Bug is not easy to reproduce (although it can be provoked usually in less than 5 min.) I have several Chart instances in several TabPages, and this usually happens while I am switching the tabs. I am accessing the charts through the managed AxChart wrapper class (derived from AxHost), which was created by VS designer automatically. 4. What should be my next step? If someone could point me to the next step I should do to find the actual cause, I would be very grateful. Experimenting (removing and returning code) does not do much good, because I don't know how to reproduce it, so it would take large amounts of time on each iteration just to convince myself that the bug is still there. I have found that people often suggest something like "switching compiler optimizations", but since the exception is not thrown deterministically, I don't want to simply rearrange some bytes and hope that it never returns. • Wordpress > Custom wp-archives list by year and category with post count in sidebar

  So I have been trying to add a custom sidebar archives section to this Wordpress Theme. I am trying to get two separate yearly archive sections, one for category A and one for category B. I need to get a post count and display it as well, to the left of "articles". This is the format I have been trying to get in the sidebar: Category 1 2010 - 5 articles 2009 - 4 articles 2008 - 6 articles 2007 - 5 articles Category 2 2010 - 8 articles 2009 - 3 articles 2008 - 7 articles 2007 - 5 articles This code is pulling the yearly archive, but the links to the yearly archives do not filter by category. However, if Category 1 does not have posts in 2008, 2008 would not show. So I feel like I am really close, but there is something wrong here in the code. I have also been unsuccessful in pulling the post count for the year/category either. • WordPress issues with htaccess causing 500 server error

  I have a few customers of my custom wordpress theme that are reporting that their sites have went down over the past few weeks due to a 500 internal server error. In each case, it appears that the htaccess file has been to blame. In one case, the user's hosting company found a "_pvt/service.pwd" line in there that was apparently causing the problem. The permissions on my .index file somehow got changed to 777 instead of 644 I'm just seeking to help these users understand what's going on, the likely cause and how to prevent it. I also want to eliminate my theme as a potential contributing factor. I have two areas in which I want to submit here to make sure that they are not likely to cause such an issue. They are my permalink rewrite code as well as my upgrade script (which sets 755 on the destination folder (my theme folder).   Background: My client is building their own WordPress site (using a purchased feature-rich theme), and I'm modifying a child theme as necessary to achieve customizations she wants. The theme comes with a Page template that includes a full-width Google Map across the top, which pulls its marker from a single address set within the Theme Options. It's meant to be used for one main "Contact Us" page. The client's business has several locations, and she wants each location's page to include such a map. (Example linked below.) It seems that the ideal solution would be the ability to specify an address within a shortcode in the Post, and have that set the map marker. Right now it's using the same map code as above. I've tried creating a shortcode that takes an address attribute and sets it as $mapAddress, but that didn't work. I believe it's because the map is already loaded by the time the Loop gets parsed. How can I tell Maps to "come back" to the post to get the proper address? My specialty lies in HTML & CSS, but Javascript befuddles me fairly easily, so please be explicit when explaining implementation. Bonus: A further goal is to have the locations' parent Page also include such a map, but have multiple markers representing the multiple locations. When taking more than one location, Google Maps only accepts latitude/longitude. I don't want my client to be concerned with coordinates, so I know there's got to be something I can do with the geocoding service so she can just input a list of addresses instead (into the same, or similar, shortcode solution developed for my main question). But I am extra-clueless about how to do that.

  Several users have reported that if they launch Excel by double-clicking an Excel file, the add-in will not load. But, if they open Excel via the Start menu (or Quick launch toolbar) the add-in loads fine. Some details, in case they help: It is a COM add-in, written in VB6. The problem has been reported on Windows XP/Excel 2003 and Vista/Excel 2007 systems. The add-in implements IDTExtensibility2. The start mode is set to "Load on Startup". Any thoughts on the cause or how to troubleshoot this would be greatly appreciated.

  I developed a Windows service using C#.NET to generate PDF report. To generate PDF file I am using a third party dll. The application is running in my Windows XP platform. When I deployed the service in Windows Server 2008 64 bit version, I got this error: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {46521B1F-0A5B-4871-A4C2-FD5C9276F4C6} failed due to the following error: 80040154. I registered the DLL using the regsvr32 command. I able to see this CLSID in the registry. But the problem persists. What could be the problem?

FacePositionArray[out]- The array of FacePosition2 objects into which face information is placed. This array is in a safe array (VARIANT) of type VT_UNKNOWN. • How to test COM object integrity automatically?

  Every COM object must have integrity. In simplified terms this means that if an object implements 3 interfaces - A, B and C and I have A* pointer to the object I must be able to successfully QueryInterface() both B and C and having B I must be able to retrieve A and C and having C I must be able to retrieve A and B. Now my object implements 5 interfaces and I want to test its integrity. Writing checks for all of the above myself will require a substantial effort. Is there a tool or some easily tweakable code or a code pattern that would do it?

• Cufon delay in WordPress, Mac/Safari/FF...

  Using cufon 'manually' not the plugin.... I have a delay on many page loads in Safari and FF on the Cufon enabled headings.... http://www.budewebdesign.com/haf Tried moving Cufon higher up (eg before wp_head() and the plugin code that calls, without any real effect. Some pages no problem but others just a long enough delay to be annoying. I'm not really keen on hiding the headings before the page load completes as is suggested elsewhere. If it loads without delay some of the time, I wonder if it can be made to 'all' of the time :) My connection speed is good. Thanks for any ideas on this.

It cannot be changed once initialized. How resolve this trouble?

• [wordpress] Loop through a specific category on single.php

  I've created a custom page and it is set as my homepage, within this custom page I am pulling out the latest post from a specific category, I've also created a form of pagination which when clicked upon will take the user to single.php. My intention for the single.php is to have two custom loops. Custom loop one I want single.php to distinguish that it has came from the homepage and loop through all of the posts tagged with the same category as the one on the homepage. Some of these posts will have to be tagged with more than one category, so the loop will have to know to ignore the other categories and just pay attention to the category in question. Does that make sense? Custom loop two If the user hasn't arrived from the homepage, single.php will just act as it normally does i.e, if the user comes from index.php (the blog) they will be taken to this second loop (blog post) However I don't seem to be able to make the distinction between the two loops, I might be over complicating matters, as I've got a loop which wraps everything together and then I have a loop for my custom pagination. • Access COM object through a windows process handle.

  I'm currently automating an application at work using COM, and have an issue where anyone using my application has a problem if the original application is already open when my application runs. I know how to locate the process if it's open, but instead of having to worry about closing it, or working around it, etc., I want to try to use the existing application instead of opening a new one. This is how I normally start the application in my automation program: Designer.Application desApp = new Designer.Application(); Now I'm attempting to try and use the handle from an existing application: Designer.Application desApp = (Designer.Application)((System.Diagnostics.Process.GetProcessesByName("Designer.exe")[0]).Handle) (I know this doesn't work, since .Handle returns an IntPtr, but I'm using it as an example.) Is there any way to accomplish this? How do I return a usable object if I know the handle/process?

• Mono ASP.NET COM Reference

  I am sure this is a very dumb question to be asking for such a platform as Mono, but I am really stuck with .NET on one of my only remaining projects on MS platforms and would like to move away from it. The only problem is that the web site is dependent on a COM library that is simply a socket wrapper enforcing a messaging protocol. I could reverse the code (I actually made a 10k line attempt) but there's nothing better than the original if it works. Is there any way to reference a tlb export on Mono? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
