  • NoSuchMethodError: com/sun/istack/logging/Logger.getLogger

    - by pandi-sus
    I developed a webservice and deployed it to websphere 7.0 and developed a dynamic dispatch client using JAX-WS APIs which also runs on same application server. I get error at the following line: Dispatch dispatch = service.createDispatch(portName, SOAPMessage.class, Service.Mode.MESSAGE); Error: Caused by: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com/sun/istack/logging/Logger.getLogger(Ljava/lang/Class;)Lcom/sun/istack/logging/Logger; at com.sun.xml.ws.api.config.management.policy.ManagementAssertion.(ManagementAssertion.java:87) at java.lang.J9VMInternals.initializeImpl(Native Method) at java.lang.J9VMInternals.initialize(J9VMInternals.java:200) at java.lang.J9VMInternals.initialize(J9VMInternals.java:167) at com.sun.xml.ws.server.MonitorBase.createManagedObjectManager(MonitorBase.java:177) at com.sun.xml.ws.client.Stub.(Stub.java:196) at com.sun.xml.ws.client.Stub.(Stub.java:174) at com.sun.xml.ws.client.dispatch.DispatchImpl.(DispatchImpl.java:129) at com.sun.xml.ws.client.dispatch.SOAPMessageDispatch.(SOAPMessageDispatch.java:77) at com.sun.xml.ws.api.pipe.Stubs.createSAAJDispatch(Stubs.java:143) at com.sun.xml.ws.api.pipe.Stubs.createDispatch(Stubs.java:264) at com.sun.xml.ws.client.WSServiceDelegate.createDispatch(WSServiceDelegate.java:390) at com.sun.xml.ws.client.WSServiceDelegate.createDispatch(WSServiceDelegate.java:401) at com.sun.xml.ws.client.WSServiceDelegate.createDispatch(WSServiceDelegate.java:383) at javax.xml.ws.Service.createDispatch(Service.java:336) I included the following dependency. javax.xml.ws jaxws-api 2.1 I also tried adding policy dependency (versions - 2.2 and 2.2.1) com.sun.xml.ws policy 2.2.1 Any ideas on what more dependencies I need to add?

  • Sanitizing incoming XML via WCF

    - by Clark
    I am consuming a Java webservice from .net using WCF. I am getting an error on deserialization of a response from the Java service The byte 0x00 is not valid at this location. Line 1, position 725. I know from some research that this is an incorrectly encoded null, but I am unlikely to get the provider to change it, so I would like to sanitize the null out before WCF deserializes the return message. Any Ideas? I am using c#, but answers in any CLR language will do.

  • Converting from One Class to another Class using Xml Serialization in C#

    - by nrk
    Hi, In our project we are consuming WCF webservices exposed at Central location as services with basicHttpBinding. In client desktop application we need consume those webservices. I am able to generate proxy class using WSDL.exe. But, I need to convert data/class given by the webservice into my local class, for that now I am xmlserialzing those class/objects given by webservice and deserializing into my local classes as both classes schema matches exactly same. Is there any better way that I can follow? or Do I need to assign each property from one class to another? thanks nRk.

  • log4net from embedded xml?

    - by sanjeev40084
    i have two projects in visual studio. One is the console project while other is regular c# project. In the regular c# project, i have added config file(i.e. Test.config) with log4net section. This file is embedded. <configSections> <section name="log4net" type="log4net.Config.Log4NetConfigurationSectionHandler, log4net" /> </configSections> <log4net> <appender name="fileAppender" type="log4net.Appender.RollingFileAppender"> <file value="log//testapp.log" /> <appendToFile value="true" /> <rollingStyle value="Size" /> <maxSizeRollBackups value="10" /> <maximumFileSize value="100MB" /> <staticLogFileName value="true" /> <layout type="log4net.Layout.PatternLayout,log4net"> <param name="ConversionPattern" value="%d{ISO8601} [%t] [%-5p] %c - %m%n" /> </layout> </appender> <!-- Setup the root category, add the appenders and set the default priority --> <root> <priority value="ALL" /> <appender-ref ref="fileAppender" /> </root> </log4net> Now in my console project, i want to tell my log4net to load log4net information from (Test.config) which is in another project. This is what i did in the constructor of console project: Assembly asm = Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly(); Stream xmlStream = asm.GetManifestResourceStream("Northwind.Participant.Config.Test.config"); ILog log = LogManager.GetLogger(typeof(ConsoleStart)); 'Northwind.Participant is full namespace. Config - folder where Test.config file is situated. Does anyone know how i can do that?

    Can anyone explain why the original address XElement street node changes? It looks like customer1 holds a reference to the address XElement but customer2 and customer3 have taken copies. Why did the original address change? (LINQPad example) var address = new XElement ("address", new XElement ("street", "Lawley St"), new XElement ("town", "North Beach") ); var customer1 = new XElement ("customer1", address); var customer2 = new XElement ("customer2", address); var customer3 = new XElement ("customer3", address); customer1.Element ("address").Element ("street").Value = "Another St"; Console.WriteLine (customer2.Element ("address").Element ("street").Value); Console.WriteLine (); address.Dump(); Console.WriteLine (); customer1.Dump(); Console.WriteLine (); customer2.Dump(); Console.WriteLine (); customer3.Dump(); OUTPUT Lawley St <address> <street>Another St</street> <town>North Beach</town> </address> <customer1> <address> <street>Another St</street> <town>North Beach</town> </address> </customer1> <customer2> <address> <street>Lawley St</street> <town>North Beach</town> </address> </customer2> <customer3> <address> <street>Lawley St</street> <town>North Beach</town> </address> </customer3>

  • Getting message in android app: Binary XML file line #2: You must supply a layout_width attribute.

    - by opike
    I'm trying to use a ListView inside of a RelativeLayout but when I run my app I get a runtimeexception with the message: Binary XML file line #2: You must supply a layout_width attribute. I tried putting layout_width attributes in every conceivable place in the xml resource files but so far no luck. I attempt to populate the listview with this line of code: setListAdapter(new ArrayAdapter(this, R.layout.tablerow3, R.id.label, items)); Here's the tablerow3.xml contents: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"> android:layout_width="20dp" android:layout_height="5dp" android:id="@+id/tablerow01"> <Label android:id="@+id/label01" android:layout_width="5dp" android:layout_height="5dp" android:textColor="@color/solid_white" android:singleLine="true"/> <Label android:id="@+id/label02" android:layout_width="5dp" android:layout_height="5dp" android:textColor="@color/solid_white" android:singleLine="true"/> </LinearLayout> Here's the xml that contains the RelativeLayout(forex2.xml): <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent"> <Button android:text="Static Button" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:layout_alignParentLeft="true" android:layout_alignParentTop="true" android:id="@+id/button_id"> </Button> <Spinner android:id="@+id/spinner1" android:layout_width="match_parent" android:layout_toRightOf="@id/button_id" android:layout_alignParentTop="true" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:drawSelectorOnTop="true" /> <ListView android:id="@android:id/list" android:layout_width="5dp" android:layout_height="5dp" android:layout_alignParentBottom="true" /> <!-- android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" --> </RelativeLayout>

  • Maven plugin in Eclipse - Settings.xml file is missing

    - by user566930
    Hello, I installed the maven plugin for eclipse. Then tried updating the index and got the following error: Unable to update index for central|http://repo1.maven.org/maven2 While trying to edit the proxy settings through windows-preferences-maven-user settings, I realise there is no such file. I don't have separate maven installation and only the plugin. Please someone could help resolving the problem? Thank you very much. Cheers A Config: Helios Service Release 1 org.maven.ide.eclipse.feature (0.12.0.20101115-1102) "Maven Integration for Eclipse"

  • Conditional configuration in maven pom.xml

    - by David Zhao
    I'd like to ONLY exclude certain files in maven-war-plugin when property "skipCompress" set to true, I thought I could do something like this, but it doesn't work for me. BTW, I can't use profile to achieve this even I want to use skipCompress to turn on and off the compression in both development and deployment profiles. <plugin> <artifactId>maven-war-plugin</artifactId> <configuration> <if> <not> <equals arg1="${skipCompress}" arg2 = "true"/> </not> <then> <warSourceExcludes>**/external/dojo/**/*.js</warSourceExcludes> </then> </if> </configuration> </plugin> Thanks, David

  • How to access application.xml file of an EAR deployed to IBM WebSphere 6.1

    - by Matt1776
    I am deploying an EAR file to the IBM WebSpehre server 6.1 - I want to be able to access the EAR application name which is stored in the deployment file under 'display-name'. Looking through stack overflow posts on related subjects, I've been able to gather that this is possible via the Java MBean API - or IBM's WAS API - Problem is I cannot find a place where these API lists are summarized, i.e. cannot figure out which one to begin looking at. I could hardcode the WAS install location and find the file by looking in the 'installedApps' directory, but this is not dynamic. Does anyone have any experience working with these APIs? Any other way to dynamically find the deployed EAR's display name? EDIT - I should add that the reason I would like this information is to dynamically load our properties files - that are named by the following convention "EARAppName.properties" - so you see there IS a reasonable 'rationale' behind desiring this information in my application EDIT 2 - I should also note that this app will always be deployed on a WAS - but in the case that it isnt, a generic non-proprietary solution would be preferred, but not necessary at this moment. EDIT 3 - What I want to accomplish: Is there a way to dynamically find the deployed EAR's display name from within the application code?

  • Pulling a timestamp from an XML feed with PHP but seem to be to many digits

    - by Craig Ward
    I am pulling a timestamp from a feed and it gives 12 digits (1269088723811). When I convert it, it comes out as 1901-12-13 20:45:52, but if I put the timestamp into http://www.epochconverter.com/ it comes out as Sat, 20 Mar 2010 12:38:43 GMT, which is the correct time. epochconverter.com mentions that it maybe in milliseconds so I have amended the script to take care of it using $mil = $timestamp; $seconds = $mil / 1000; $date = date('Y-m-d H:i:s', date($seconds)); but it still converts the date wrong, 1970-01-25 20:31:23. What am I doing wrong?

  • How do I set a dependency on Spring Web Services in my POM.xml

    - by Ben
    I get this on a lot of Maven dependencies, though current source of pain is Spring. I'll set a Spring version and include it like so: <spring-version>3.0.0.RELEASE</spring-version> <!-- Spring framework --> <dependency> <groupId>org.springframework</groupId> <artifactId>spring-core</artifactId> <version>${spring-version}</version> </dependency> Which works as expected. I am however having problems setting my dependency on spring-ws-core for web services. The latest I can find in any repo is 2.0.0-M1. http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.springframework.ws/spring-ws-core Any clues on what I need to include in my maven POM to get Spring 3 web services to work :)
