• File Anti-virus and Proactive Defense failing to start in Kaspersky

  Since I tried using my laptop on Saturday, my Kaspersky installation (6.0.2.678) is failing to start the file anti-virus and proactive defense protection. I installed some drivers and CANking from KVaser on Friday, but I can't see how this would break Kaspersky. Any ideas what could be causing this?

  Hello, I have a fresh Server 2008 R2 installation that cannot load a basic HTML or ASP file. I can however load .jpg and .gif images, so I know the file paths are setup correctly. • Good Linux disaster-ready filesystem?

  I'm working on this emergency open wi-fi network project and it includes a local website (nginx + MySQL). In order to eliminate SPOFs, we're going to setup at least two of everything (server, switch, router, etc.). This network is thought to work when an earthquake strikes and it's very likely to a server to go to down, if so, we need to be able to boot them up and be operating as soon as possible. Do any of you know if any linux filesystem would work better than others in this scenario?

• Why can't I create e-mails on CPanel ?

  Hello, I have a nasty problem creating e-mails on a cpanel account, the creation form doesn't work (clicking on the buttons does nothing) and the sourcecode of the page has a weird http://petlieutenants.com/css/article1.php in it... The quota for the account is normal, all the other accounts are working fine. What can possibly be causing this ? Thanks for your ideas !

  From what I gather (e.g. http://tutorialfeed.blogspot.com/2009/06/ie-8-perk-access-multiple-gmail.html ) one can get a new IE8 window clean from older cookies and independent of what's going on in other windows. Alas, when I try that web sites still remember me in the window of the new session. Any ideas what's wrong in my setup? Thanks!

In Gentoo, we have make.conf where we can specify global use flags, and /etc/portage/package.use for package-specific use flags. I found a reference indicating that if you want to customize ports in FreeBSD, you have to pass them on the command-line meaning you will lose those customizations if you forget or simply by doing updates. • How can I archive a 30 GB file?

Of course, 30 Gb is far too large for a single DVD and the content is already zipped.   I recently installed kloxo on a brand new VPS and set up mail servers and everything. i am using courier-imap on my VPS and i have verified it is running however i cannot for the life of me get into mail with round cube, i keep getting the error connection to storage server failed, is this an issue with my database. I have tried granting all privileges to the round cube user in MySQL and restarted qmail several times. Any ideas?
