• How do I limit concurrent sftp / port forwarding logins

  I have ssh set up so my users can only access sftp and port forwarding, how can I limit the number of concurrent logins on a per user basis? In my sshd_config I have UsePAM set to yes and in /etc/security/limits.conf I have: username - maxlogins 1 I also tried: username hard maxlogins 1 Neither of these works and the users can still log in multiple times.

• Access Denied on LAN IIS Access via Integrated Authentication

  I have an IIS 7.5 (Win2k8R2) Webserver, which publishes an UNC Share (on a Fileserver) with restricted access. The AppPool Identity is a Domain User-Account with read access to mentioned UNC path. Authentication modes are set to Anonymous and Integration Authentication. When I access the path via localhost from the Webserver itself, it works, but if I try the Hostname or IP from either the Webserver or a Client, I get three authentication prompts (does not accept my credentials) and a 401.3 Unauthorized error message (but it states that I am logged in as my normal credentials which definitely have access rights to the UNC path and its files). Security Zone is set to Local Intranet. Sysiniternals Process Monitor lists CreateFile operations on the UNC path (and other existing files in it) with Access Denied and Impersonating on the correct credentials. I don't understand why it is not working, it seems to use the correct credentials on every step on the way but fails with is operations.

I have the same username and group set, of course, but... So, where is this peruser launchd tool configured, so that I can disable the daemons that are causing this error message?

• Can vCenter 4 authenticate and authorize against a virtual directory server??

  Hi I am looking into Identity managment in our environment. We currently use Active Directory and Sun's Enterprise Directory server (6.3). I was wondering if I used the Virtual Directory Server of the Enterprise Directory server, would we be able to point the vCenter clients to this Directory service for authentication and authorization rather than at the AD source. The reason for this is that we have more users we want to add to the management role of this server but not all are in AD, a fair number are in the Sun LDAP v3. directory. Thanks in advance Ian

For example I have two external ips, lets say 194.145.63.1 and 194.145.63.2 set on one network card as 194.145.63.1 - eth0 and 194.145.63.2 -eth0:1 mywebsite.com allows access only from 194.145.63.1 and I want to set my rules like if I hit http://194.145.63.2:8080 to open mywebsite.com trough 194.145.63.1. Simply setting the article's Access Level to Restricted makes it disappear rather than prompting for a login.   I have created a number of dump files using Linux dump(8), using the -A option to get a table of contents on disk (the backups are on tape). Now I'm trying to look into these archive files, using restore -i -A <archive>` However, this insists on asking what tape to use, and complains if I say none. What am I doing incorrectly? I was hoping that I can use these archive index files without having to insert the tape to use.

  Dell computer with Windows 7 and Outlook 2003. I recently added a smart card reader to my computer for the National Guard so that I can access some military sites that require a smart card to log in. Now, every time Outlook attempts to download any mail from my civilian AT&T account (a pop e-mail server), I get a message asking me to "Insert a smart card". I've traced it to the send/receive feature (specifically receiving e-mails) but can find no reason that Outlook should be looking for a smart card.

  is there any way to use this formula [<30,0,1)) for a group of cells in Sheet1!(A14:I100)] and if result == 0 insert blank or add [=IF(O16=0,"",] somehow so all 0 results just show a blank result. I'm just not sure how to add this to my formula so if Cell a176= 07:48:16 and formula [<30,0,1)) for a group of cells in Sheet1!(A14:I100)] changes it to 468, all is good - however if Cell a176= 00:00:16, the result is "0" - I would like the result to be "" blank "" instead of "0". any ideas??
