Hi everyone... i have a webservice that i want to test by typing the url in the address bar in the web browser localhost:1981/myProject/admin/autocomplete.asmx and when i do this it gives this compilation error CS0234: The type or namespace name 'Oledb' does not exist in the namespace 'System.Data' (are you missing an assembly reference?) i know this is because we added this in our web.config <add namespace="System.Data.Oledb"/> <add namespace ="System.Data"/> in the namespaces section..... when i call this web service through ajax it works but if i try to test it it gives this error. Is there any way to prevent this?

Handling PHP exceptions with JQuery

Hello, I'm using JQuery to call a PHP function that returns a JSON string upon success or throws some exceptions. Currently I'm calling jQuery.parseJSON() on the response and if it fails I assume the response contains an exception string. $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "something.php", success: function(response){ try { var json = jQuery.parseJSON(response); } catch (e) { alert(response); return -1; } // ... do stuff with json } Can anyone suggest a more elegant way to catch the exception? Yet the anchor link href is rendered as "YourFeedback/Article/resourceId=101". Any ideas where I'm going wrong? Thanks in advance.

When creating an sfPropelRouteCollection, how can I edit the action names that the collection will generate? For example: # Routing for "product" CRUD product: class: sfPropelRouteCollection options: model: Product module: product actions: [new, create, edit, update, delete] How can I change the actual action that is called for any of the new/create/edit/update/delete methods? I'd like for them to call "ajaxNew," "ajaxCreate," etc. so the URL would look something like "product/ajaxNew", or the action for "update" would be "ajaxUpdate". I just started using RJS which is awesome however I am used to putting visual effects in the link_to_remote and such and I'm not sure how to trigger actions before and after remotes are triggered. rails: date type and GetDate

This is a follow up to this question: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2930256/unique-responses-rails-gem I'm going to create an index based on the user id, url and a date type. I want date type (not datetime type) because I want the day, the 24 hour day to be part of the index to avoid duplication of page views counts on the same day. In other words: A view only counts once in a day by a visitor. I also want the default value of that column (viewdate) to be the function GETDATE(). This is what I have in my migration: execute "ALTER TABLEpage_viewsADD COLUMN viewdate datetime DEFAULTGETDATE()`" But the value viewdate is always empty. What am I missing? (as an aside, any other suggestions for accomplishing this goal?)

Extra blank page when converting HTML to PDF using abcPDF

I have an HTML report, with each print page contained by a <div class="page">. The page class is defined as width: 180mm; height: 250mm; page-break-after: always; background-position: centre top; background-image: url(Images/MainBanner.png); background-repeat: no-repeat; padding-top: 30mm; After making a few changes to my report content, when I call abcPDF to convert the report to PDF, suddenly I'm getting a blank page inserted after every real report page. I don't want to roll back the changes I've just made to remove this problem, so I'm hoping someone may know why the extra pages are being inserted.

Jenkins is up and running in my organization.In configure tab under Repository browser we have an option called fish eye.If I select fish eye as an repository browser it is asking the fish eye URL (such as http://fisheye6.cenqua.com/browse/ant/)My requirment is I need to fetch the reports such as (we would like to track the SVN to take chain change report, to give statistics on how many check-in happening in each code base, how many cut has been taken from each branches…etc ).We need to achieve all these things in Jenkins itself. For performing such things we need to setup the seperate fish eye server.If that is the case why we have the fish eye option in jenkins.We can perform all these activities in Fisheye instead of Jenkins. Question about a http form GET method, using query arguments

I am looking at a bug in WebSVN where when I get into a file log and click on compare, it looses the repository name as part of the request. The details are unimportant. However, I've tracked down the bug to a http form that looks like this: <form method="get" action="comp.php?repname=Binaries&" id="compare"> .... <input type="hidden" name="KEY" value="VALUE"> Is this supposed to work? Will both the "repname" argument, specified as part of the URL, and the hidden value be sent? It seems Chrome 4.1 only sends the hidden argument, and removes the repname parameter altogether. Is this correct? I fixed it temporarily, pending more information, by adding another hidden field for repname with the same value, and now everything works, I'm just wondering if Chrome or WebSVN is in fault here.

I am using Heroku with a Ruby on Rails application, and running from Safari. I have the following Ajax call: $.ajax({ type : 'POST', url : '/test_page', data : {stuff: arr1}, dataType : 'script' }); arr1 is supposed to be an array of objects. There's a console.log right before that, and it is: [Object, Object, Object, Object, Object, ...] However, I got an error on the server side when I made this ajax call. It's really confusing to me - what would cause that string to sometimes be passed to the server instead of the object?

Avoid htaccess redirecting to one folder Yii

I have a website running over Yii Framework, I created a folder in the root path named blog, I installed a wordpress blog under this folder, but the files .htaccess that comes with yii is trying to redirect my request to www.domain.com/blog to the controller/action type which I don't want, I want to treat the blog folder as a completely app with no relation to yii. here is what I've done so far Options +FollowSymLinks IndexIgnore */* RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} "/blog/" RewriteRule (.*) $1 [L] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule . index.php as you can see I added the conditions to avoid redirecting for the blog folder but when I try to access the the url is telling me The page isn't redirecting properly. What I want to find is the most widely adopted, most heavily developed, easiest to deploy solution to get Gecko or WebKit into a Swing app (Needs to run OS X and Windows). The limited (crappy?) JEditPane type solutions are not robust enough for our needs. We would really like to use either WebKit or Gecko. Hi, I need to develop a PHP class to communicate with Apple servers in order to do Push notification (APNS). I have the certificate (.pem) and I tried to follow various tutorials found on Internet but I'm still getting error trying to connect to ssl://gateway.sandbox.push.apple.com:2195 with stream socket : $apnsHost = 'gateway.sandbox.push.apple.com'; $apnsPort = 2195; $apnsCert = 'apns-dev.pem'; $streamContext = stream_context_create(); stream_context_set_option($streamContext, 'ssl', 'local_cert', $apnsCert); $apns = stream_socket_client('ssl://'.$apnsHost.':'.$apnsPort, $error, $errorString, 2, STREAM_CLIENT_CONNECT, $streamContext); A telnet on this URL works so port 2195 is opened. Openssl is activated on PHP since I get "Registered Stream Socket Transports : tcp, udp, ssl, sslv3, sslv2, tls" with a phpinfo(). My certificate is well read (PHP is_readable(certif.pem) returns true on the file) Is there anything else to activate in Apache or PHP to get it work ?

Localization with separate Language folders within Views

I'm trying to have specific folders for each language in Views. (I know this isn't the best way of doing it but it has to be this way for now) e.g. /Views/EN/User/Edit.aspx /Views/US/User/Edit.aspx These would both use the same controller and model but have different Views for each language. In my Global.asax.cs I have routes.MapRoute( "Default", // Route name "{language}/{controller}/{action}/{id}", // URL with parameters new { language = "en", controller = "Logon", action = "Index", id = UrlParameter.Optional }, // Parameter defaults new { language = @"en|us" } // validation ); This works ok but always points to the same View. If I put the path to the Lanagugage folder it works return View("~/Views/EN/User/Edit.aspx"); but clearly this isn't a very nice way to do it. Is there anyway to get MVC to look in the correct language folder? Thanks and again I know this isn't the best way of doing Localization but I can't use resource files.
