Given a grid of any height and width, write an algorithm to traverse it in a spiral. (Starting at the top left and ending in the middle) without passing over previously visited nodes. Without using nested loops.
I'm trying to add a button onclick event to a button tag when I load my Fancybox popup using the following code:
var processOrder = function(id) {
$('#processPopupLink').fancybox({
'hideOnContentClick': false,
'frameWidth': 850,
'frameHeight': 695
}).click();
$('#processComplete').click(function() {
alert('debug');
});
}
However, it's not showing the message box when I click the button, I have no idea why it is not working, any help would be appreciated.
Below is my $.ajax call, how do I put a selects (multiple) selected values in the data section?
$.ajax({
type: "post",
url: "http://myServer" ,
dataType: "text",
data: {
'service' : 'myService',
'program' : 'myProgram',
'start' : start,
'end' : end ,
},
success: function(request) {
result.innerHTML = request ;
} // End success
}); // End ajax method
EDIT I should have included that I understand how to loop through the selects selected options with this code:
$('#userid option').each(function(i) {
if (this.selected == true) {
but how do I fit that into my data: section?
Hi,
I have created a big C++ class. I need to give it to another person.
I dont want him to see the function implementations but he should be able to use it as a class.
(for example: he can inherit this class, use its full functionality in his code but can not see or change function implementations etc)
How can i do this.
thanking you..
I am using jquery uimodaldialog and this is setting
$("#dialog").dialog({
autoOpen : false,
minWidth : 700,
show : {
effect : "fade",
duration : 1000
},
hide : {
effect : "fade",
duration : 1000
},
close : function(event, ui) {
},
});
I am calling with this
$('.mylink').on('click', function() {
$( "#dialog" ).dialog( "open");
Now on first click it shows at center of page .
if I click again then it goes about 200px upwards.
On further clicking it says there
is it not possible to define a static const array? i would like to have an optional parameter to a function that is an array of colors,
private static const DEFAULT_COLORS:Array = new Array(0x000000, 0xFFFFFF);
public function myConstructor(colorsArray:Array = DEFAULT_COLORS)
{
}
i know i can use ...args but i actually wanting to supply the constructor with 2 separate arrays as option arguments.
Assuming we are running a compiled C++ binary:
Is passing around an int (e.g. function to function, or writing it into variables) slower than passing around structs/class objects like the following?
class myClass
{
int a;
int b;
char c;
vector d;
string e;
}
I was reading this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thread_safety
Is the following function thread-safe?
void foo(int y){
int * x = new int[50];
/*...do some stuff with the allocated memory...*/
delete x;
}
In the article it says that to be thread-safe you can only use variables from the stack. Really? Why? Wouldn't subsequent calls of the above function allocate memory elsewhere?
I've inherited a Visual Studio/VB.Net numerical simulation project that has a likely inefficient calculation. Profiling indicates that the function is called a lot (1 million times plus) and spends about 50% of the overall calculation within this function. Here is the problematic portion
Result = (A * (E ^ C)) / (D ^ C * B) (where A-C are local double variables and D & E global double variables)
Result is then compared to a threshold which might have additional improvements as well, but I'll leave them another day
any thoughts or help would be appreciated

hi all, i m facing some problem in find function. im fetching value fro find function.i have model.contian another model .
Can i give conditions in contain in cakephp
is it possiblehi
The goal is to avoid copying the string data when I need a const wchar_t*.
The answer seems to be yes, but the function PtrToStringChars doesn't have its own MSDN entry (it's only mentioned in the KB and blogs as a trick). That made me suspicious and I want to check with you guys. Is it safe to use that function?
I'd like to use Nokogiri instead of builder to create an XML document because creating the nested appears easier in Nokogiri (I don't need to create a block for each nest).
However, how do I create the equivalent of instruct! using Nokogiri?
I am trying to grab the value of my href in jquery how is it done'?
This is what I have done:
$('#playbackbutton').click(
function() {
$("#playbackdiv").load("$('a:href').val();", [], function(){
$("#playbackdiv").dialog("open");
}
);
return false;
}
I need to get the value of the href in my a tag.
here is the html:
<a href="/record/123.wav">play</a>
function doIt(param) {
var localVar = param;
//do lots of stuff with localVar
}
function doIt(param) {
//do lots of stuff with param
}
Is there any difference in terms of efficiency between the code above?
Hi,
I'm new to JQuery. In my App I have the following:
$("#displayPanel div").live("click", function(){
$(this).css({'background-color' : 'pink', 'font-weight' : 'bolder'});
});
When I click on a Div, the color of that Div is changed. Within that Click function I have some functionalities to do. After all that I want to remove the applied Css from the Div. How could I do it in JQuery?
I need to convert a varchar value of 1/9/2011 to a date in mySQL and I want only the month and year. So that I can then use the PERIOD_DIFF function (so I would need the above to be converted to 201101).
I've tried various ways using the STR_TO_DATE function:
SELECT STR_TO_DATE(CYOApp_oilChangedDate, '%m/%Y') FROM CYO_AppInfo
But I get weird results... (for example: 2009-01-00)
What am I doing incorrectly?
usually, symbolic functions return vectors for vector inputs:
syms('x');
f=x*2;
subs(f,[1 2 3])
outputs: [2 4 6]
but doing
f=sym('0');
subs(f,[1 2 3]);
outputs: 0
and not: [0 0 0]
so basically, my questions is how do I make f behave as a "normal" symbolic function.
I can do something ugly like f=x-x to create a function that always returns zero, but is there a prettier way?
You can do this:
.info
{
padding: 5px ;
}
Or, if you know it will be a div, you can do this
div.info
{
padding: 5px ;
}
So, when there's a nested list.. you can do this..
div.info ul.navbar li.navitem a.sitelink
{
color: #f00;
}
Or you can do this
a.sitelink
{
color: #f00;
}
Readability aside, which is better for the browser to parse/run?
Hi, I am using this code to refresh the data inside of the div:
<script>
$(function() {
$("#refresh").click(function() {
$("#new").load("/new.php")
})
})
</script>
Except it loads the who page inside of the div, instead of just the information that is inside of the div.
How do I make it refresh only the data that is inside of the div? Is there a way of doing it other than putting the information for that div in a seperate page?
I am getting a SqlConnection does not support parallel transactions. exception and this answer mentions its when a connection tries to open two transactions. This is exactly what i am doing. I thought nested transactions were ok (i was using sqlite for the prototype).
How do i check if the connection is already in a transaction? I am using Microsoft SQL Server Database File.
there are 2 multiple select list on my page , one is there with a seperate remove button . selecting an item there in the selected list is removing the item from the first select list also.how will i specify which list to remove item from in this code
$().ready(function() {
$('#remove').click(function() {
return !$('#FeatureList option:selected').remove();
});
});
Hi Guys,
I'm trying to figure out the best C++ library/package for array manipulations in a manner of python. Basically I need a simplicity like this:
values = numpy.array(inp.data)
idx1 = numpy.where(values > -2.14)
idx2 = numpy.where(values < 2.0)
res1 = (values[idx1] - diff1)/1000
res1 = (values[idx2] - diff2)*1000
In python it's just 5 lines, but the simplest way in C++ i can think of is quite a number of nested loops. Pls advise..
In C++ is there a predefined library function that will return the size of RAM currently available on a computer a program is being run on, at run-time?
For instance, if an object is 4bytes, then can we divide the available virtual memory by 4 bytes to give an estimate of how many more objects could be stored by the program safely?
I have used the sizeof() function to return the size of objects within my program.
Thanks
