• Unable to generate a temporary class (result=1). error CS0030: Cannot convert type 'Type[]' to 'Type'?

  I get this error after I created a class from my xsd file using the xsd.exe tool. So I searched the net and found a solution. Here is the link: http://satov.blogspot.com/2006/12/xsdexe-generated-classes-causing.html Problem is that this makes the code run, but somehow the deserialized data seems corrupt. I did what the site suggests and in the end the 2nd array dimension is always empty (see the comments of the site, somebody also had this problem). Question is, how do I solve this issue now? Is there another tool to create the xsd file? I tried Xsd2Code, without success. Thanks :-)

• Is it a good idea to include a large text variable in compiled code?

  I am writing a program that produces a formatted file for the user, but it's not only producing the formatted file, it does more. I want to distribute a single binary to the end user and when the user runs the program, it will generate the xml file for the user with appropriate data. In order to achieve this, I want to give the file contents to a char array variable that is compiled in code. When the user runs the program, I will write out the char file to generate an xml file for the user. char* buffers = "a xml format file contents, \ this represent many block text \ from a file,..."; I have two questions. Q1. Do you have any other ideas for how to compile my file contents into binary, i.e, distribute as one binary file. Q2. Is this even a good idea as I described above?

  My question is "How can I do form repeated validation in Entity with annotation?". I have an Account entity with (email, password and confirmPassword) attributes. When a new user registers a new account, he/she has to fill in email, password and confirmPassword fields. Obviously, password and confirmPassword fields must match. Specifically, it will use Find.find and append the files to an Array for later output. • jQuery .html() vs .text() produce different result in .hover() function

If I use .text() fuction to add the html (anchor tag) which I am dynamically creating, it works fine, both the functions are called as desired. I was hoping to name the matrices: matrixnumber1 matrixnumber2..matrixnumbern I cannot use an array as its matrices I have to form. Is it possible to use a string to name a string (or a matrix in this case)?   i am struggling with the paginator in cakephp 2.0. While i am trying to migrate my application to 2.0 i cant find any solution to jump directly to the last page. In 1.3 it was quiet to do that from outside like this: echo $this->Html->link(__('Flights'), array('controller' => 'flights', 'action' => 'index','page' => 'last')); but this little trick putting 'page:last' in does not work anymore in 2.0. Of course there is a Paginator function called last, but this would only help if i would be already inside the app. My Problem is to access from an outside link directly the last page of the paginator. • Best neural network for certain type of pattern analysis?

  Hi All, I'm working on a system that will send telemetry data on machine operation back to a central server for analysis. One of the machine parameters we're measuring is motor current drawn vs time. After an operation is finished we plan to send back an array of currents vs time to the server. A successful operation would have a pattern like a trapezoid, problematic operations would have a pattern completely different, more like a large spike in values. Can anyone recommend a type of neural network that would be good at classifying these 1D vectors of current values into a pass/fail type output? Thanks, Fred

  Hi. I'm building a simple app and trying to test DB result output. But unfortunately all I'm getting is an array of size 0. Here's the controller code excerpt: $data['query'] = $this->db->query('SELECT role_id, role_privilege FROM role'); $this->load->view('welcome_message', $data); And a view code excerpt: <?php echo count($query->result_array())."<br/>"; foreach ($query->result() as $row){ echo $row->role_id . But if I do this divs.sparkline([1,2,3,4]); its fine all the divs get the linegraph but with the same data. Does anyone have any suggestions but how to use sparkline when iterating over divs?   A very simple code to illustrate the difference. var x = [0, 3, 1, 2]; console.debug('debug', x); console.log('log', x); // above display the same result x.splice(1, 2); // below display kind of a different result console.debug('debug', x); console.log('log', x); The javascript value is exactly the same but console.log() displays it a bit differently than before applying splice() method. Because of this I lost quite a few hours as I thought splice is acting funny making my array multidimensional or something. I just want to know why does this work like that. Does anyone know? :)
