• Bootstrap jquery methods Magento's prototype lib

  Wonder if anyone has had this issue. I've integrated Bootstrap nicely into a Magento theme I'm building, all good. That is, until I try using the accordian functions. There seems to be an issue with the code finding the Prototype Libs Methods instead of jQuery's. I've tried the usual fixes, $ - jQuery and no conflict but it only works when I disable the prototype lib - which obviously is not good. Anyone out there come across this and can advise me on a work round? At the moment I'm resigned to using Scriptaculous for the accordian.

  Hi, Sorry for this vaguely described problem, but please look at the problem from the Win32 API's perspective. I'm writing a Word addin using Addin Express with Delphi, and I use some other 3rd party VCL's also, including virtual stringtree, TNT controls, etc. Now I cannot input Russian characters in Word anymore, but I can input English and Chinese.... Since it's a large project I don't know where to start finding the problem, would you give me some generic tips, I'll be appreciated that! Thank you, and have a nice day!

• So I dynamically load a jar at runtime how do I use it?

  So question 194698 shows how to load a jar file at runtime and you can load individual named classes and get a Class object. Now my problem is I want to be able to cast those Classes to the types they really are, but I can't because I can't use an import since the whole point is to load it at runtime rather than compile time. It seems like the way to go is to use reflection to discover the functions and field names, but that seems brittle since the API in the jar files could change and the code won't break until it is run. Is there a better way?

  I have a reasonably complex query to extract the Id field of the results I am interested in based on parameters entered by the user. After extracting the relevant Ids I am using the resulting set of Ids several times, in separate queries, to extract the actual output record sets I want (by joining to other tables, using aggregate functions, etc). I would like to avoid running the initial query separately for every set of results I want to return. I imagine my situation is a common pattern so I am interested in what the best approach is. The database is in MS SQL Server and I am using .NET 3.5.

  I have a table with many fields and additionally several boolean fields (ex: BField1, BField2, BField3 etc.). I need to make a Select Query, which will select all fields except for boolean ones, and a new virtual field (ex: FirstTrueBool) whose value will equal to the name of the first TRUE Boolean Field. For ex: Say I have BField1 = False, BField2 = True, BField3 = true, BField4=false, in that case SQL Query should set [FirstTrueBool] to "BField2". Is that possible? Thank you in advance. P.S. • Member variable in C++ class that is always constant for all objects of that class?

  I'm constructing a class where I have three member variables that I want to always be the same value NO MATTER WHAT. I have class foo{ public: double var_1, var_2, var_3; double x=1, y=2, z=3; [functions go here] }; that gave me an error since I can't initialize a variable like that. But I want x, y and z to always be 1, 2 and 3 respectively. I tried defining them outside the class but that doesn't work since I want them to be member variables of the class. How do I do this?

  Hello guys! I would like to apply RBF neural networks to teach my system. I have a system with an input: | 1 2 3 4 5 6 ... 32 | 33 | | 1000 0001 0010 0100 1000 1000 ... 0100 | 0 0 1 | You have to read this without the "|" character. I just wanted you to see that the last three elements in the input are staying together. The result have to be a number between 1-32, which has the value "1000" in the input. In my training set I will always have a result for an array of this kind. What kind of functions can I use for the teaching algorithm? Can you point me please to the right way? Is there navigation support API? or isn't it released yet? I can't understand why it's not included on Ginger bread version. They said that Nexus S already support Driving navigation. • jQuery - How do I make the menu fadeout when the user clicks anywhere else in the document besides the menu itself?

  Hi, I have a link that functions similar to a drop down menu in that it fades in a list of links below it when clicked. Currently, the list fades back out when the link is clicked again, but I'd like for it to also fade out if the user clicks elsewhere on the page. I'm not sure how to add the $(document).click(function()... that handles this, or if this is even the right approach.   I am implementing expandable list view with its custom adapter. The group element needs to have 2 buttons, first as a parent group element and a button below it. My problem is, I want to expand the list view on click of the button below instead of the group element. Also, The group element onClick needs to call another activity. I can disable the expanding of the expandablelistview by `mainExpListView.setOnGroupClickListener(new OnGroupClickListener() { @Override public boolean onGroupClick(ExpandableListView parent, View v, int groupPosition, long id) { return false; }` So my questions: Is there any way to disable the group element and get it to perform other functions (Like navigate to another activity?) In .NET I have MasterPage, UserControl, PartialView each has its own code behind. e.g. I can save the check login functions in Login.ascx.cs and render the Login.ascx wherever I'd like to. If logged in, it shows the welcome message, else shows the login form. But in Flask I only found {% include 'login.html' %} which include the static html file. How can I implement this design in Flask?

• mootools: $ not defined

  I've strange error i don't understand. I'm just moving my code from jQuery over to Mootools because it's much cleaner than the jQuery mess. Now when i use the $$('div.canvas') in mootools i get the correct element. When i try $(document).getElement('div.canvas') it tells me that $ is not defined. How can $$ and all helper functions like $lambda etc. be defined but not $? Has something changed there from 1.1 to 1.2 and the docs are not updated yet?

So I have two questions. Is there any way to write that debug method without using eval? If NO is there a preferred way to do this? Is there any way to pass a list of arguments to this method? I would ideally prefer debug {:x, :y. :anynumOfvariables}. I could not quite figure out how to factor that into the debug method (i.e, to take a list of arguments)

  I have 3000+ lines of javascript that I need to get into a sensible/maintainable structure. I have chosen to use requireJS as it has been recommend to me by a few people. I have a bunch of variables that are used throughout the application and need to be available everywhere. I also have a bunch of functions that need to be available everywhere. Apart from these two dependencies most of the code can be divided off into their own modules. I am having trouble understanding how to manage my main variables so that if one module of code makes changes to the variables the rest of the JS modules will see that change. I think I need to see a few examples that demonstrate how requireJS is intended to work on a larger scale that the examples in the documentation. If anyone is an experienced requireJS user I would love the hear your tips!

• Problem loading a contents URL into a string

  I've been using this method for a few weeks now as suggested on my previous question and the app now keeps crashing with a Protocol 443 error - something about unable to resolve the address. Worked fine when first installed and then just stopped. The same with on the device itself, worked fine until this morning and now the same issue?? Nothing wrong with the URL as I can still load in a browser. If I leave it for a couple of days it starts working again?? Is there a more effecient way of using the Http POST and GET functions? All I am trying to do is perform a login and save the resulting page to a string. Is there a more Android friendly way?

• Thread help with Android game

  I need some help dealing with three Threads in Android One thread is the main thread, the other is the GLThread, and the other is a WorkerThread I created to update the game state. The problem I have is they all need to access the same LinkedList of game objects. Both the GLThread and my WorkerThread only read from the LinkedList, so no problem there, but occasionally I have the main thread adding in another game object to the list. How can I manage this? I tried using synchronized in front of the functions involved but it really slows down the application. For some reason, just catching the errors and not rendering or updating the game state that frame, causes it to start lagging permanently. Anyone have any great ideas?

  Hi, I have to define a 24-bit data type.I am using char[3] to represent the type. Can I typedef char[3] to type24? I tried it in a code sample. I put typedef char[3] type42; in my header file. The compiler did not complain about it. But when I defined a function void foo(type24 val) {} in my C file, it did complain. I would like to be able to define functions like type24_to_int32(type24 val) instead of type24_to_int32(char value[3]).

I am thinking if this will cause any code collisions to the codes in the validation plugin when more and more javascript files are included. I would like to create a practical example of what a faulty device driver that runs in kernel mode can do to the system, by for example corrupting memory used for critical OS-processes. How can I execute my code in kernel mode instead of user mode, directly? Do I have to write a dummy device driver and install it to do this? Where can I read more about kernel and user mode in Windows? I know the dangers of this and will do all of the experiments on a virtual machine running Windows XP only
