  I have one flash player , which have full-screen functionality . which is not working in FF and MAC Chrome . and throws an error as below. • Need help with events in COM in pure C++!

  Hello, guys! Very important question: Please, look at my project (300Kb). I can`t use MFC/ATL, pure C++ only. I have COM library (niapi.dll), but no sources/headers available, dll only. There is class for connecting to server (NiApi::SrvrSession), class has login event handler (NiApi::SrvrSession::OnLogin). I used #import "NiApi.dll" to generate wrappers/information, then ISrvrSessionPtr session(L"NiApi.SrvrSession"); to create object, then trying session->put_OnLogin(); to assign events, but there is no one put_On or such member. niapi.tlh have _ISrvrSessionEvents struct inside, but it have no relations with SrvrSession. I need to use events from NiApi::SrvrSession for handling connection status. Please help or my boss kill me! (sorry for broken english, I read better than speak;)

  How can I stop ASP.Net from encoding anchor tags in List Items when the page renders? I have a collection of objects. Each object has a link property. I did a foreach and tried to output the links in a BulletedList, but ASP encoded all the links. Any idea? Thanks! Here's the offending snippet of code. • Best means to store data locally when offline

  I am in the midst of writing a small program (more to experiment with vs 2010 than anything else) Despite being an experiment it has some practical use for our local athletics club. My thought was to access the DB (currently online) to download the current members and store locally on a laptop (this is a MS sql table, used to power the club's website). take the laptop to the event (yes there ARE places that don't have internet coverage), add members to that days race (also a row from a sql table (though no changes would be made to this), record results (new records in 3rd table) Once home, showered and within internet access again, upload/edit the tables as per the race results/member changes etc. So I was thinking i'd do something like write xml files locally with the data, including a field to indicate changes etc? If anyone can point me in a direction i would appreciate it...hell if anyone could tell me if this has a name, I'd appreciate it.

• Changing Clickonce source folder

  We copy our production build in a separate folder using post-build events, and replace the app.config file with our production app.config. However Clickonce reads the files in bin\Release folder. I have also tried copying all files from our custom build location to bin\Release folder in the post-build event, but app.config is still overridden (I guess clickonce re-builds the project into bin\Release). Is it possible to tell Clickonce to read from our custom folder? Or, if that's not the right way to go, how do you handle this kind of situation?

• asp:calendar not work correctly in MVC

  I have an asp:calendar on my view page and as I hover over it..it shows a javascript postback status bar. but I have an asp:button also on the same page and when I hover over it. The action from the controller is in the status bar..because I have an onClick attribute for the button that triggers an action on the server side. and in the asp:calendar I also have a trigger event OnSelectionChanged the has a method on the server side...but as I said when I hover over the calendar to pick a date in the status bar it shows:javascript:_doPostBack($ct100ContentPlaceHolder?mycalendar',''3270) and when I click a date I receive an error that says object doesnt support this method..Also mycalendar is the id name of the asp:calendar

• Self Executing jQuery Plugin?

  I am working on expansion of my jQuery plug-in authoring knowledge, just playing around with my own ideas for learning benefits. So i was wondering how you guys tackle the need of plugin executing without any user specific input. So I have a need for plug-in that executes right away after document is ready, without any user's specific input just as long as doc is loaded, so the only way I see how to execute plug-in on it's own is to attach handler to ready listener that executes my function which I extended the jQuery with. And because this needs to be self enclosed, part of the code, I attach handler to event listener within the function. So how else could one tackle this? Any take at this is appreciated. • Context menu for loaded SWF

  I have a Flex app with a viewport that loads a series of other swfs. I would like to place a context menu over top of the SWFs when the user right-clicks. To that end, I have set up a fairly standard context menu where each item has a ContextMenuEvent.MENU_ITEM_SELECT event handler. One problem: The eventHandler never gets called. If I place the context-menu code anywhere else in the app, i.e. not on top of a loaded SWF, everything works fine. However, when I place the exact same code on the SWF viewport, the context menu items appear, but the eventHandlers are never called. Any ideas?

  I cannot get jquery's ajaxSend (http://api.jquery.com/ajaxSend/) to properly modify the parameters. Logging settings inside ajaxSend shows me that they are set to settings.data: "remote=1&authenticity_token=6GA9R_snip_253D&random=1270584905846&_method=get" but when it gets sent across the wire, I only have the following: authenticity_token 6GA9R_snip_253D remote 1 Why in the world is this not working?

I call same API in same backgroundworker. In the middle of processing my application crashes. But If I dont assign the dataSource in ProgressChanged my application doesnt crashes.

I need to display the average and maximum wait times. How can I take the entire list of time from the server and get the average time? I have checked the FileSystemWatcher class, it only provides events for change/creation/delete/rename of the contents under the folder, which is not exactly what I want.   I'm brainstorming some ideas around a pattern to use for the following scenario. I have some 3rd party controls that I want to add common functionality to. Functionality is added by handling several of the the events and doing certain things when the events fire along with adding some private variables to hold some state info between events. I want to reuse the code and functionality so this is what I'd typically do. Create a class for this functionality and pass in the instance of the control that I want to add the functionality to in the constructor. Then I can add event handlers to the control in the instance of the class. Can anyone think of alternative patterns to use in order to create this kind of reusable functionality.

• Determine if javascript has completed.

  My question is somewhat similar to this one. We want to know if there's a way to determine if all javascript has completed (so no javascript is running). We have a lot of stuff that runs on a timeout after the page's onload event, so even after the page is loading, stuff could be happening for a few seconds. For a whole bunch of reasons, mostly relating to requirements from management, we need to know when all of these scripts have finished running. There's an arbitrary number of them so a general solution would be great.

  I have a very strange bug, which I believe is caused by some code we have executing, but I'm not sure where. We can reproduce it to the point it happens whenever we click Tab, but short of putting a break point at the beginning of every method in the project to find out what is executing. Is there a way to set visual studio to break whenever anything executes? For those curious about the problem, every now and then, we have a few Rich Text Boxes that refuse to lose focus. You can't click out of it or tab out of it. We have no On Validation or On Text Changed events attached to the control, and believe it's an event attached somewhere else to something we just aren't noticing.

I'm testing validation code on a JTextField, but the framework does not support focus-change events, as it runs the application in a headless fashion.   I cannot seem to find any documentation of what events fire and when in GXT. The API docs have lists of all the events that could fire (in Events). And it describes how to handle events that you catch. But I'm interested in the opposite side, which events are fired when I take a certain action. I can set some listeners for various different components, or I can use addListener with a specific event code to catch individual events. That's spotty, and I seem to be using trial-and-error to guess what I might want to catch. Is there a way to log all the events that are firing? Or catch all of them so I could look at them in a debugger? Or is there some documentation I am missing that has the information? Something along the lines of "when you click on a widget, a ButtonEvent is fired. Events.x is fired on the hover, Events.y on the click."
