Are there any good concise and up-to-date tutorials apart from the official ones that could bring me up to speed on how to use the platform efficiently (shortcuts, debugging, views ...)?     I'm getting started with a side project that will be developed using PHP and I'm looking for guidance on getting my Windows machine up and running and ready for development (as quickly as possible). Being that PHP development is more geared towards Linux users/developers (which I am not), I'm trying to figure out how to get all the pieces in place to get a 'WAMP' stack operational locally on my Windows machine.     good day we are developing game for android and have some trouble with resource loading on high dpi devices. our resources are located in res/drawable directory on a standart dpi device the game work properly, but on hdpi (tested on HTC Desire) all resources which located in res/drawable-hdpi load are loaded correctly, but the resources which miss in drawable-hdpi directory but present in res/drawable are ignored but everything works fine on the virtual device with hdpi. does anybody encounter this problem and know how to solve it?

  • zend framework storing sessions in database for iframe use?

    I have a site im running through an iframe in a uiwebview for a native iphone app, the problem is that I guess since the iframe and the html page are on different servers the session will not keep its state. My thought is to store the session data to the database and then just use the stored session data. Is this possible? If so can anyone send me to a guide on how to set up stored sessions with zend framework, I can't seem to find a good example. thanks

    I have an order edit and quote edit screen that are very similar. I want to try to avoid code like this: if (order is Order) SetupScreenForOrder(); if (order is Quote) SetupScreenForQuote(); But maintaining two screens is not good either. If I create some common interface between a Quote and Order then how do you deal with fields like OrderNumber or QuoteDate? What's the best way to handle this?

  • How to link latest stable version of libCURL using vc++2010

    On 2 separate machines in completely different environments (work, home) I've been unable to compile libCURL out of the box. Running nmake -f Makefile.vc mode=dll VC=10, I get an unresolved external symbol errors for _IdnToAscii and _IdnToUnicode. I believe the definitions are in Normaliz.lib, which is referenced in LFLAGS, but it either isn't finding it or the version I have doesn't have those functions. But I don't see any option to download this file...anyone have a good solution short of commenting out the 2 lines that use these functions?
