  hello guys, i ve got a problem with my programm. here is the link: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2734432/TabbedInterface.7z once u have opened both tabs, u ll start loosing the references to other collections of the current item in the view. that is because these ids are nullable and once you switch over to the other tab they ll become null. my question is why and how can i corrent that behavoir? if you change the int? to int there are no more problem, but i need them to be nullable!

  I am having problems with showing my entire SmartGWT Canvas on my initial page. I've stripped everything out and am left with an extremely basic EntryPoint to illustrate my issue. When I just create a Canvas and add it to the root panel, I get a horizontal scrollbar in my browser. Can anyone explain why and what I can do to have the Canvas sized to the width of the window?   I'm writing an application that takes HTML pages and parses them to display on the screen. Specifically, this application pulls HTML from a message board and lists posts made by users. The problem is that a lot of the content in posts are pictures in <img> tags, so I need to write a Html.ImageGetter to handle the downloading of the images. My textView.setText() method will look like this: myTextView.setText(Html.fromHtml(myText, new ImageGetter() { @Override public Drawable getDrawable(String source) { Drawable d; // Need to async download image here return d; } }, null)); Doing this synchronously is trivial, but is there a suggested way to do this asynchronously so that it doesn't lock up my UI thread? I would also like to eventually build in caching of these images, but I imagine that would be pretty simple once the async downloading was there.

  With a view model containing the field: public bool? IsDefault { get; set; } I get an error when trying to map in the view: <%= Html.CheckBoxFor(model => model.IsDefault) %> Cannot implicitly convert type 'bool?' to 'bool'. An explicit conversion exists (are you missing a cast?) I've tried casting, and using .Value and neither worked. Note the behaviour I would like is that submitting the form should set IsDefault in the model to true or false. A value of null simply means that the model has not been populated.

• Problem with cvCreateVideoWriter in OpenCv. Again )

  I know, that the issue had been widely discussed before, but after 5 hours of inefficient googling I guess I deserve to ask :) By the way, all such problems concerned earlier versions of OpenCV, so.. I've compiled fresh OpenCV 2.1. from source under Ubuntu 9.10. It works fine except of cvCreateVideoWriter, which returns null to the following request: CvVideoWriter *writer = cvCreateVideoWriter("video.avi", CV_FOURCC('M','J','P','G'), fps, size, 0); I've walked through the OpenCv folders - it even seems to have ffmpeg inside. I've also installed it on the system to make sure. I've changed CV_FOURCC('M','J','P','G') to -1 - all worthless. I would appreciate your help soo much! P.S. I've also explored some new way for writing videos here: http://opencv.willowgarage.com/documentation/cpp/reading_and_writing_images_and_video.html#videowriter But it fails to work as well, showing the mistake: error: no match for ‘operator>>’ in ‘writer >> frame’ My code is here: http://pastie.org/984734

  Would very much appreciate any help or hint on were to go next. I'm trying to change the content of a row in ListView programmatically. In one row there are 3 TextView and a ProgressBar. I want to animate the ProgressBar if the 'result' column of the current row is zero. After reading some tutorials and docs, I came to the conclusion that LayoutInflater has to be used and getView() - overriden. Maybe I am wrong on this. If I return row = inflater.inflate(R.layout.row, null); from the function, it gives NullPointerException.   when we bind to heterogeneous collection of objects, not all objects have the same set of properties. in the output window we get a message like: System.Windows.Data Error: 39 : BindingExpression path error: 'RoundingFactor' property not found on 'object' ''MultiLineTextMarkingScheme' (HashCode=7262386)'. BindingExpression:Path=RoundingFactor;.......... This doesn't appear to be an exception, but we are concerned it has a performance impact. Should we be concerned and create a view model that has all the properties we wish to bind to (and have the properties that dont exist on the underlying element return null) or can we just leave it. This situation often occurs in a grid scenario where there might be large numbers of these binding failures.

  Okay so I have started a new language in class. We are learning Scheme and i'm not sure on how to do it. When I say learning a new language, I mean thrown a homework and told to figure it out. A couple of them have got me stumped. How can I avoid having to change the version number every time I compile this? Can I specify the extension in code somewhere?

And i'm using this xpath to assert that the "niveau" with id='2' is in the response: Xpath expression; //*:niveau[@id='2'] & the expected result is : but i have this error message: XPathContains comparison failed, expecting [ ], actual was [null] but if i try this : exitsts(//*:niveau[@id='2']) & the expected result is : True it works !!?   Hi, Some time ago I have payed to a programmer for doing multithread server. In the meantime I have learned C# a bit and now I think I can see the slowndown problem - I was told by that guy that nothing is processed on the main thread (Form) so it cannot be frozen..but it is. But I think that altough BeginAcceptSocket is async operation, but its callback runs on the main thread and if there is locking, thats the reason why the app freezes. Am I right?   The below web services code has worked properly for me for over a year. We have updated our SharePoint servers, and now the below code throws an exception (at the bottom line of code) "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" UserProfileWS.UserProfileService userProfileService = new UserProfileWS.UserProfileService(); userProfileService.Credentials = System.Net.CredentialCache.DefaultNetworkCredentials; string serviceloc = "/_vti_bin/UserProfileService.asmx"; userProfileService.Url = _webUrl + serviceloc; UserProfileWS.PropertyData[] info = userProfileService.GetUserProfileByName(null); EDIT: The service is still there. I browse http:///_vti_bin/UserProfileService.asmx, and the information for the service is still there, including the full description of the GetUserProfileByName call. EDIT2: This does appear to be due to a change in SharePoint. I loaded a previous version of my software (known to be working), and it exhibits the same erroneous behavior.

  I try to automatically parse/submit web page using MSHTML (in C#.Net 3.1 WPF WebBrowser control). I can fill the forms, click buttons, naviagate pages without problems. But do not know how to automatically click "ok" button on javascript confirmation dialog which appear when I click "Submit" button. "WMSYS.WM_CONCAT_IMPL"* if i change to: select substr(acc,1,4),currency, amount, module, count(), (case when count() < 10 then wm_concat(trn_ref_no) else null end) trn from fcc.acvw_all_ac_entries where trn_dt = to_date ('05052010','DDMMYYYY') group by substr(acc,1,4),currency, amount, module to avoid buffer limit error. But even in this case i have the same error. How can i avoid this error?

• using Windows Script Host

  Hello, I am using windows script host for some kind of installer application and I'm creating shortcuts in start menu with it. This problem came up when I switched to x64 environment (win7 ultimate x64+vs2010) I added a reference to Windows Script Host Object Model (from c:\windows\syswow64\wshom.ocx), it generated Interop.IWshRuntimeLibrary dll. I added 'using IWshRuntimeLibrary;' to my .cs files, but when I tried to create WshShell sh = new WshShellClass(); it throws an exception: Could not load file or assembly 'Interop.IWshRuntimeLibrary, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. I assume that I would need 64-bit version of that wshom.ocx for this to work, but I don't know what should I try. Or I'll just dump Windows Script stuff, but I need another way to create start menu shortcuts from .net application. Thanks
