    Hi, Just started learning/reading about DI and IOC frameworks. Also I read many articles on SO and internet that say that one should prefer DI/IOC over singleton. Can anyone give/link examples of exactly how DI/IOC eliminates/solves the various issues regarding the Singleton pattern? (hopefully code and explanation for better understanding) Also given a system has already implemented Singleton pattern, how to refactor/implement DI/IOC for the same? (any examples for the same?)   • WPF Drag and drop to Datagrid

    Hi. I have been searching the internet high and low but can find some examples that can help me, I'm developing an application in wpf, in it I use a datagrid, each cell as a datatemplate with and image, in a mosaic style, on the side of the grid I have some tiles to use on the grid, I'm able to drag the tiles but can't drop then on the grid because I can't find the cell to which make the drop, is there a way to get a cell position from the the drag events?     Let's assume I have a class called MyClass with an attribute called MyAttribute and a method called MyMethod(). Inside that method I'd like to have a variable called MyVariable. I'd like to set the value of MyVariable to "MyVariable" and MyAttribute to "MyAttribute" inside the call to MyMethod(). How can I do this in a Collaboration Diagram? I can't find any info of this kind on the internet and the book I'm studying from (Applying UML and Patterns) is very vague in the details. Thanks

  • UITableView reloadData to sort the table cells

    Hey Guys, I have a uitableview and I am populating the tableview with data from the internet. I added some sort features to the table but when I do the sorting and get new results from the web server and reload the table. The table doesn't refresh, the old results stay on the table and if I press on a particular cell I see the new result just for that cell. Can someone please help me? Thanks

    Hi, I m opening a HttpConnection to a URL. Its working in simulator but when i try it in device, it gives "java.io.IOException: Bad DNS address" while opening the HttpConnection. I serached the forums but havent got the solution yet. That URL is opening in Blackberry device Internet Browser but not getting the HttpConnection (HttpConnection is coming NULL) when i try through my code.

    I need to lock the browser scrollbars when I show a div that represent a modal window in Internet Explorer 7 only. Googling I found that I can use document.body.style.overflow='hidden' but this doesn't work for IE7. I also tried with document.body.scroll="no" which works but only after I mouse over the scrollbar :-S Does anybody knows a better aproach? Thansks

    All over the Internet, included even here at StackOverlow, people state that a good way to check if a request is AJAX or not is to do the following: strtolower($_SERVER['HTTP_X_REQUESTED_WITH']) == 'xmlhttprequest' ) However, I don't see $_SERVER['HTTP_X_REQUESTED_WITH'] in the official PHP documentation And when I try to do the following: echo $_SERVER['HTTP_X_REQUESTED_WITH']; Nothing is outputted. Am I doing something wrong? Because I'd really like to be able to use $_SERVER['HTTP_X_REQUESTED_WITH'] if it's available.

    I am using WebBrowser control of .NET to login into a website. When i click on a button that popups a new window the popup window asks me to login again. However i am not asked to login again if i open the webpage in internet explorer.
