    I am embarking upon my first journey of test driven development in C#. To get started I'm using MSTest and Rhino.Mocks. I am attempting to write my first unit tests against my ICustomerRepository. It seems tedious to new up a Customer for each test method. In ruby-on-rails I'd create a seed file and load the customer for each test. It seems logical that I could put this boiler plate Customer into a property of the test class but then I would run the risk of it being modified. What are my options for simplifying this code?     Howdy, I am using Visual Studio 2010 and am playing around with the Database Projects. I am creating a DataGenerationPlan to insert data into a simple table, in which one of the column datatypes is XML. Out of the box, the generation plan uses the Regular Expression generator and generates something like this : HGcSv9wa7yM44T9x5oFT4pmBkEmv62lJ7OyAmCnL6yqXC2X..........     i have a file called physics 1b.sh in bash, if i try x="physics 1b" grep "string" "$x".sh grep complains: grep: physics 1b: No such file or directory. However, when i do grep "string" physics\ 1b.sh it works fine. So i guess the problem is something to do with the variable not being expanded to include the backslash that grep needs to recognize the space. How do i get this to work? using bash 3.2, mac os 10.6.

This is easy to do in code, I was wondering if there was a elegant WPF pure XAML solution for it? I have investigated Style Triggers, but the syntax doesn't come naturally to me. Thanks!

  • Saving image to database as varbinary, arraylength (part 2)

    This is a followup to my previous question, which got solved (thank you for that) but now I am stuck at another error.   • References between Spring beans when using a NameSpaceHandler

    I'm trying to use a Spring context namespace to build some existing configuration objects in an application. I have defined a context and pretty much have if working satisfactorily - however, I'd like one bean defined by my namespace to implicitly reference another: Consider the class named 'Node': public Class Node { private String aField; private Node nextNode; public Node(String aField, Node nextNode) { ... } Now in my Spring context I have something like so: <myns:container> <myns:node aField="nodeOne"/> <myns:node aField="nodeTwo"/> </myns:container> Now I'd like nodeOne.getNode() == nodeTwo to be true. So that nodeOne.getNode() and nodeTwo refer to the same bean instance. These are pretty much the relevant parts I have in my AbstractBeanDefinitionParser: public AbstractBeanDefinition parseInternal(Element element, ParserContext parserContext) { ... Furthermore, the nextNode property is populated with a Node instance with the previous nodes configuration - however, it isn't the same instance. If I output a log message in Node's constructor I see two instances created for each node bean definition. I can think of a few workarounds myself but I'm keen to use the existing model. So can anyone tell me how I can pass these runtime bean references so that I get the correct singleton behaviour for my Node instances?
