• NicEdit problem with 1st line text alignment on FireFox

  In trying to answer a question regarding a folder that a program can write to on any version of windows by limited users, i suggested FOLDERID_ProgramData and FOLDERID_PublicDocuments. However, it would seem that not everyone has access to this folder, despite their purpose (ostensibly) being to allow anything to write to them. Why?

  Hi Everyone I just need to know what's the difference between sql providers SQLOLEDB and SQLNCLI. I have one scenario where one SSIS package should fail. Now when I use SQLNCLI provider in the connection string the package terminates by throwing the error as expected. However when I use SQLOLEDB provider, the package behaves abnormally by ending successfully without throwing any error? Can someone shed some light on this scenario? Thanks.

  Hi everyone, I am trying to embed a Quartz Composer document in an iPhone app. I know Quartz Composer support was added in iPhone OS 3.1 (at least, that's what Wikipedia says) but I can't find any good resources on how to do this.   Hi everyone, I was able to add a Service Reference in VS2008 with no problems at all. However, on the same machine within the same network, I couldn't do that in VS2010.   Hi everyone I got a WPF application and I want to download a file. I'm using System.Net; and I have the following code: WebClient ww = new WebClient(); www.DownloadFileAsync(new Uri("http://www.sinvise.net/tester/1.jpg"), AppDomain.CurrentDomain.BaseDirectory + "\\1.jpg"); The problem is, is that it doesn't download the file, it's just showing up as 0kb file and not downloading, I don't know what the problem is, can anyone help? • Flash - Firefox issue

  I realised that if I do have a flash object and do not include a 'wmode' attribute, I will not be able to overlay HTML because the flash will always play on top. But if I do include a 'wmode:transparent' , the flash object completely disappears in firefox, whereas if I use 'wmode:opaque' , I get a white box in place of the Flash object. I've looked at many forums - many questions - but somehow everyone's problem gets resolved when they use one of the aforementioned attributes. So....HELP !!! Note: using either attribute works in IE.

  Hey Everyone, I am using Netbeans and very happy with it. Unfortunately I am having a little problem with it that I cant seem to figure out. I am using Silverstripe CMS and it uses a templating system that syntactically is basically just a mix of php and html. These files however end in .ss and therefore netbeans doesnt format and highlight them at all. How do I make netbeans format and highlight all .ss files just as if they where normal html files?
