    Hi I need some help developing my mobile app. I have to store user data permant (name, password), so what is the best way to do that? I dont know a special API for it, so where to store persistent data's on a windows phone? Maybe in the win mobile registry or inside a file? Or should I use a light database?     Hi guys, sorry for the vague question title. But anyways, I have here a subdomain which i wish to pass on wildcard sub-subdomains and make a proper htaccess redirect to a sub-folder (relative to the server root) equivalent to the wildcard value such that *.subdomain.domain.tld will redirect to subdomain.domain.tld/* where * = wildcard value I hope you get my question. Can someone shed some light on this? I would appreciate it very much =)

  • installing by_star gem?

    Can someone shed light on how to setup by_star gem: https://rubygems.org/gems/by_star? I ran ruby script/plugin install git://github.com/radar/by_star.git. However, when I went to call a by_star method in one of my models from console, I got an undefined method error. Do I need include or require statement? Could I be missing dependent gems? Ruby version issue?

  • Create an RSS feed from Existing RSS

    Im using the Twitter API to read the Favorites RSS, it generates the following output: http://vl3.co.uk/favs/getfavs.php I'm not sure why this file seems to be incorrect, doesnt come up in my RSS reader or render correctly in the browser. Can anyone shed any light on this? If the output is not valid RSS how can I make it so? Secondly I'd like to cache the RSS feed to then use something like Magpie RSS Parser.

    I am looking for code that will add favorites / MRU type behavior to a JComboBox. I could code this myself, but it sure seems like someone else has probably already done it.   • Problem making local copy of a webpage

    I want to run this chrome experiment locally. I copied the .html and .js files, along with the two .jpgs that the demo uses. However, when I run it off my local drive, Chrome gives this error: light.js:89 - Uncaught Error: SECURITY_ERR: DOM Exception 18 Line 89 returns the image data from the canvas after drawing the image to it. What's causing this security exception? It seems to not be Chrome-specific, as Firefox gives the same error.

    Is there a way to start WebDevServer (Visual Web Development Server) by passing in the .sln file without actually opening Visual Studio 2008? I am a JavaScript developer and I work in a client project and I want to save the memory overhead consumed by VS and give it to multiple browsers for cross-browser testing.
