    I am just getting stated with iPhone development and can't seem to find the answer I am looking for what I want to do.     I am optimization my web page by implementing caching, so if I want the browser not to take data from cache, then I will append a dynamic number as query value. eg: google.com?val=823746 But some time, if I want to bring data from cache for the below url, the browser is making a new http request to server, its not taking data from cache. Is that because of the question mark in URL ? eg: http://google.com? Please provide some reference document link. Thanks in advance. Regards, Navin

  • Where to put default-servlet-handler in Spring MVC configuration

    In my web.xml, the default servlet mapping, i.e. /, is mapped to Spring dispatcher. In my Spring dispatcher configuration, I have DefaultAnnotationHandlerMapping, ControllerClassNameHandlerMapping and AnnotationMethodHandlerAdapter which allows me to map url to controllers either by its class name or its @Requestmapping annotation. However, there are some static resources under the web root which I also want spring dispatcher to serve using default servlet. According to Spring documentation, this can be done using <mvc:default-servlet-handler/> tag. In the configuration below, there are 4 candidate locations that I marked which are possible to insert this tag. Inserting the tag in different location causes the dispatcher to behave differently as following : Case 1 : If I insert it at location 1, the dispatcher will no longer be able to handle mapping by the @RequestMapping and controller class name but it will be serving the static content normally. Cas 2, 3 : It will be able to handle mapping by the @RequestMapping and controller class name as well as serving the static content if other mapping cannot be done successfully. Case 4 : It will not be able to serve the static contents.     I'm interested in installing a custom driver / device that will open a socket (or listen) and stream audio via TCP/IP in both Windows and Linux. I would like to be able to specify this device as my "Output" for specific applications so that I can route my audio through a completely unique machine (for example, in complex Synergy setups where my headphones might be connected to one machine, but audio is being generated by another.) In Linux, I expect this to be very easy, but I anticipate having to install a custom driver in Windows.

  • ASP control event handler not firing on postback?

    Hello, I have a control which has an ImageButton which is tied to an OnClick event... Upon clicking this control, a postback is performed and the event handler is not called. AutoEventWireup is set to true, and I've double checked spelling etc.... We haven't touched this control in over a year and it has been working fine until a couple of weeks ago. We have made changes to controls which load this control... so I'm wondering, what kind of changes could we have made to stop this event handler from being called? There is quite a bit of Javascript going on, so this could be the culprit too... Thanks

    I downloaded a RTMP stream to my desktop. It uses the FLV (Flash) video codec. I do not want to reprocess/transcode/whatever to this video. VirtualDub can delete sections of video and since it's not encoding again the quality is the same and the filesize shrinks. I want to do something similar but instead add keyframes and not encode. What can I use?

Therefore, I spent some time with CLtL and other references trying to determine how to write a restart handler. (defun http-request (url param) (handler-bind ((USOCKET:UNSUPPORTED #'(lambda (x) (invoke-restart 'continue))))) (drakma:http-request url :method :post :parameters param)) According to my best understanding, the above code should trap the error USOCKET:UNSUPPORTED. It doesn't; it seems to ignore the error binder. How do I fix this?

Right now we are able to capture the audio and access the file through wireshark, but we would like to find a way to save the audio to a .wav file (or similar) via the command line. I'd like to be able to access these movies from anywhere, through the web, through some interface (maybe the divx web player? flash player? some other protocol?) Can anyone recommend anything good?     I stumbled upon a very strange thing. In FF 3.6 (not tested others yet) I add onload handler to an image like this: imgRef.addEventListener("load", activateLink, false); When load event fires, in activateLink(evt) the evt paramater is not an event, but the "a" tag that contains the image. Why is this? function activateLink(evt) { // evt turns out to be a refference to <a> tag (HTMLAnchorElement) that contains the image. // Actually two of them. Both dynamically added with addElement. } I remembered another fact that may be relevant. I have multiple images with the same src that all have registered this same event handler activateLink. Could this be the problem?

    Hi, I am using Rackspace Cloud CDN (Limelight CDN) for my website. The URLs of the CDN are in the format http://cxxxxxx.cdn.cloudfiles.rackspacecloud.com/something.jpg My domain is mydomain.com. Can I use IIS URL rewriting to show http://cxxxxxx.cdn.cloudfiles.rackspacecloud.com/something.jpg as http://images.mydomain.com/something.jpg? Or is this impossible without the CDN setup accepting my CNAME? If so, can you please help create the URL rewrite rule? (Sorry, don't know how to use regular expressions) Thanks, WT

    I see similar questions, but it looks like there were due to an unrelated issue. in 3.5, I have a custom error handler that logs errors and redirects users. My web.config is set up as such: <httpHandlers> <add path="error.ashx" type="MySite.Tools.WebErrorLogger, MySite.Tools" verb="*"/> </httpHandlers> <customErrors mode="On" defaultRedirect="error.ashx" redirectMode="ResponseRewrite"> </customErrors> When redirectMode is set to "ResponseRedirect", everything works fine (but Server.GetLastError() being null but that seems to be intended) However, when using ResponseRewrite, my handler is not called and I see ASP.Net default error pages. Any idea on how I could do this? (I unfortunately can't use either an aspx page or do my error handling in global.asax due to other constraints)

However, how do you specify this specific 'click' registration AND pass in a local variable as the _onClick parameter at the same time? As an aside, why do you even have to specify 'click', when the API states that handler always pertains to a click? Is this additional information not unnecessary?
