• How to create the slide show option for the photos in my application in iphone?

  I am new to iphone development.I want to create an application which shows the photos in the device.I have to implement the feature of slide show also.I am using UIImagePickerController to access the photos of the device.   I have some ideas for improvements on my touchpad, ranging from the run of the mill scroll horizontally at the bottom, tapzones for right click, to more complicated ones. But I have no idea where to get started? I'm working on Windows 7 Home Premium, its an Asus laptop, and I have none of these options natively available to me. Regardless, I want to write something that anyone can use. Where would I start? (it'd be nice to write in c++? is that possible? what are the requirements here? what language would be recommended?)

  I have a while loop which creates a list of anchor tags each with a unique class name counting from 1 to however many items there are. I would like to change a css attriubute on a specific anchor tag and class when it is clicked so lets say the background color is changed. • Access: Reading deleted record buffer

  According to the Access (2003) documentation, when you delete a record, it's placed in a buffer, then the BeforeDeleteConfirm event is raised, then the AfterConfirmDelete ad Delete events. In my table if a record is deleted, I need to add one of its field values (a quantity value) to a field in another table. I tried setting the quantity to a private variable in the Current event, but as soon as I delete click delete, it looks like the Current event fires again and resets my variable. How can I access the value of a field in a deleted record?

• iOS 5 fixed positioning and virtual keyboard

  I have a mobile website which has a div pinned to the bottom of the screen via position:fixed. All works fine in iOS 5 (I'm testing on an iPod Touch) until I'm on a page with a form. When I tap into an input field and the virtual keyboard appears, suddenly the fixed position of my div is lost. The div now scrolls with the page as long as the keyboard is visible. Once I click Done to close the keyboard, the div reverts to its position at the bottom of the screen and obeys the position:fixed rule. Has anyone else experienced this sort of behavior? Is this expected? Thanks.

• How to add labels on Google Maps Pinpoints?

  Creating a google map with store locations within 50 miles of user entered address. Have map & pinpoints showing correctly but all of the pinpoints just have a dot on them. I'd like to be able to label them A, B, C, D, etc so that I can list out locations & addresses in sidebar. How would I do this? • Graphics/Bitmap Limits?

  Im having some weird problems with Graphics and Bitmap. I have a Graphics Object that is displayed on a PictureBox and im capturing the MouseMove and MouseClick Events that give X and Y Position of the Mouse on the Image but if the Y Position goes Bigger then 32775 it then goes into Negatives which means everything breaks. And if the Image is Bigger then 65535 it then stops displaying the Image. Any Ideas how these problems can be fixed? • Lazy Tables app from iphone

  I am new to iphone development. I have parsed a youtube file and displaying its contents with the image in the table view. But the scrolling has become slower because of displaying image.So i want to display the image as the lazy tables program from apple docs.Since they have used navigation based application , their rootviewcontroller loads first and then the delegate class call the parsing ,and when they reload the table view, the contents are displayed. The data array count shows 25. I am using a view controller to display the tables on the present modal view, more over when i run my application, first delegate methods call the parsing. So when i click the youtube icon in my landing page it navigates to table view. So by this time data array count shows 0. I have created table view in interface builder and set the outlets to the file owner properly. Please help me out. I want to increasing the scrolling performance. Thanks.

• Javascript debugging: stopping/breaking at every javascript invocation

  I am dealing with a complex legacy javascript code base, and it's difficult to figure out where to put breakpoint (I have to find the files, put a breakpoint in firebug etc). Is there a way so that Firebug breaks on the first javascript execution that it encounters every time? In other words, every time I click on something on the page, and if a javascript code is executed, I want Firebug to break on that line? Of course I don't want Firebug to stop when it executes it's internal javascript. Is this possible?

  In menu.html, I have my menu items(a href links), let's call them, menu_1, menu_2, .... In map.js displays the contents of a map, it calls an API to display some layers and maps. I have a lot of maps to show but i only want to call the api once. Using AJAX, I was wondering if it's possible to have an if/then or select/case in my js, so that if menu_1 is clicked, then implement map_1 etc. without having the page to reload. The only way I thought I could do this is using Post/get .. so when you click on menu_1 it takes you to page.php?page_id=1 . JS will read that and display the map. I'm new to JS and AJAX so please feel free to butcher me

• Adding data (not only text) to a multi column ListView (WPF)

  I am working on a WPF application in C# (.NET 4.0) where I have a ListView with a GridView that has two columns. I dynamically want to add rows (in code). My dilemma is that only the first column will have regular text added to it. The second column will have an object that includes a multi column Grid with TextBlocks. (see link http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/803/listview.png/) If I do what you would normally do when you want to enter text in all columns (ie. DisplayMemberBinding) all I get in the second column is the text "System.Windows.Grid", which obviously isn't what I want. For reference if I just try to add the Grid object (with the TextBlocks) with the code listView1.Items.Add(grid1) (not using DisplayMemberBinding) the object gets added to the second column only (with the first column being blank) and not how it normally works with text where the same text ends up in all columns. I hope my question is detailed enough and any help with this would be much appreciated. EDIT: I have tried the following code, howeever every time I click the button to add a new row every single row gets updated with the same datatemplate. • Gson module not found Blackberry Java application

  Hi. I'm developing a simple application for Blackberry and i'm using Google's gson to retrieve some data from a server. The UI was working fine but when I added the gson part it started failing, it wont run. When I run the application in the simulator it show this error: "Uncaught: RuntimeException" on that annoying white screen of death and after holding the click button I can see that there is an alert dialog that says "Module 'gson-1.4' not found". However I did added "gson-1.4.jar" in the Project's Properties - Java Build Path - Add External JARs... also, the Gson objects are recognized at my code, no syntax errors at my code. BTW, I'm using Eclipse and the most recent Blackberry SDK Please help

I wish to know if the reason for this difference?

  Hello all, I have been trying to convert my rails 2.2.2 app over to jQuery, and would like so without using jrails. The only reference material I can find on the subject is Railscasts Episode 136. Ryan goes over how to use jQuery to post a form and handle the response in a .js.erb file. My questions is has anyone tried to use jQuery with .js.erb files with anchors as the trigger? As a replacement for "link_to_remote". I have gotten jQuery to do a .get to submit this link on click to the controller, but I cannot seem to get it to go into the .js.erb file. Thanks

• How to get Screen Shot / Screen Capture from Web user on MVC site?

  I've seen a few different apps that allow users to take screen shots on their PC and then the utility will automatically upload the image to the web server. I'd like to incorporate this type of functionality into a new MVC site. I could certainly just allow the user to upload their own image, but it'd be cleaner if they could click Capture Screen Shot and the image would be uploaded automatically. My team is using ASP.NET MVC2 with a SQL back end database. We are certainly willing to look into 3rd party components (activeX based, etc.) that will allow us to achieve this.

• eclipse CDT - Cannot open .gcda files

  I am developing a coverage data tool in eclipse cdt. I used gcov and build and execute my C program to generate .gcda and .gcno files. When double click on .gcda file to see the coverage data, below error message displays. An error has occurred. • How can I create a new email account in Java?

  I am able to send and receive emails from my JSPs and associated Java code using the Java Mail API (javax.mail.*). Now I would like to create a new POP3 email account programmatically when a user registers for my site. I've found surprisingly little information about this with web searches. I would think it would be a somewhat common problem. It appears that the Java Mail API does not provide any assistance in this area. I have many email accounts available under my godaddy account, and to manually create an account, I just go to the godaddy email control panel, click Add, and specify the email address and password. This is exactly what I would like to do via a Java program. Any ideas?

  I've always wondered the best way to automate use of a GUI in windows. When I was about 15, I wrote a little application that used some simple windows api functions to automatically click on certain locations on the screen based on a script. This could be used to automate GUI apps, but surely it's not the best way. So, my question is: What's the best way to automate use of a GUI in windows? Are there certain windows API functions that would be beneficial? If the program were to crash, how could you detect that? Thanks!

  Sorry for the question marks, but a simple (I think) question has an impossible solution. From file system, if I click on an image file "Properties | Details tab" I access to many metadata. I need to access from a WPF application to the Description properties (Title, Subject, Rating, Tag and Comment). In particular Tag. I have found a lot of articles, many are very old. A few in WPF and Imaging library. But no one access to that properties. So the question marks: are these properties on image? On file system? I think they are on the image..I don0t undestand where are these properties and why is so difficult to access... Can someone help me? Thanks in advance, Marco Parenzan

• google oauth doesn't redirect to callback after authorization

  I can't seem to get google to redirect to the callback url after obtaining the auth token. By redirecting the user to the following url, the user can click grant or deny access. After that the user clicks on one of the choices, the user is not redirected back to the callback url. https://www.google.com/accounts/OAuthAuthorizeToken?oauth_token=4%2F5ETLZ84rGmRxE_yx0b-_IFDReUxe&oauth_callback=http://blahblahblah.com/user_sessions/create&oauth_version=1.0&hd=default I'm wondering if anyone knows what the problem might be. Also does google require I use something like openssl.
