    I have custom control - chart with size, for example, 300x300 pixels and more than one million points (maybe less) in it. And its clear that now he works very slowly. I am searching for algoritm which will show only few points with minimal visual difference.   • drupal views block arguments

    I currently have a view (Drupal 6 using Views2) that properly aggregates a custom content type (videos) and filters them for a page display. When I create a block display, it previews the results in live preview just great, but when i go to the page expecting to see the block it doesn't appear. I'm fairly certain the argument I'm attempting to pass it fails because when I select "Display all results" for "Action to take if argument does not validate:" the block shows up on the page just fine. Any advice definitely appreciated.

    I'm creating a custom ActionResult class and I need it to be able to operate on a UserControl. All of the examples I've found so far pass in the full path like so: return MyResult("~/ControllerName/UserControlName.ascx", myModel); But I'd like it to operate the same way as calling View(), i.e. I just pass in the name and MVC determines the correct route: return MyResult("UserControlName", myModel); Is there a way I can find out the correct route to the control without specifying it manually?

    Using WiX, we would like to be able to uninstall a previous version if it is already installed. I am able to do this automatically based on the thread here. But how does one go about prompting the user if they actually want to uninstall the old version first, before running the RemoveExistingProducts action? ie. through a custom menu item that only launches if FindRelatedProducts returns 1, for example?

    Hey! I'm teaching myself Ruby, and have been stuck on this for a couple days: I'm currently using MooTools-1.3-compat and Rails 3. I'd like to replace one button (called "Follow") with another (called "Unfollow") as soon as someone clicks on it. I'm using :remote = true and have a file ending in .js.erb that's being called...I just need help figuring out what goes in this .js file The "Follow" button is in a div with id="follow_form", but there are many buttons on the page, and they all have an id = "follow_form"...i.e. $("follow_form").set(...) replaces the first element and that's not correct. I need help replacing the button that made the call. I looked at this tutorial, but the line below doesn't work for me. Could it be because I'm using MooTools instead of Prototype? $("follow_form").update("<%= escape_javascript(render('users/unfollow')) %") ps.     I am trying to make a custom selection box for an image view I created and I am trying to use strokeRect: from NSBezierPath but it always seems to be transparent. Called the method set to set the color the blackColor and then also tried using olorWithDeviceRed:green:blue:alpha: but no matter what I have tried the rectangle created always seems to be transparent. Is there a better method to use to draw an empty rectangle?
