  • Python command line - add PYTHONPATH during module run

    I want to run: python somescript.py somecommand But, when I run this I need PYTHONPATH to include a certain directory. I can't just add it to my environment variables because the directory I want to add changes based on what project I'm running. Is there a way to alter PYTHONPATH while running a script? Note: I don't even have a PYTHONPATH variable, so I don't need to worry about appending to it vs overriding it during running of this script.

    Hi, This is part of my image-copy-script: Get-Childitem | where {$.Extension -eq ".png" -or $.Extension -eq ".gif" -or $_.Extension -eq ".jpg"} | Copy-Item -destination $dest -force It works fine, and it can overwrite files. Well, it can overwrite if the existing file have attribute R or A. Not when its blanked. Error in red text: "Copy-Item : The file '\server\d$\path\thumbs\007487l.jpg' already exists." Why?

    Ok, so I have a Rails app set up on DreamHost and I had it working a while ago and now it's broken. I don't know a lot about deployment environments or anything like that so please forgive my ignorance.     Hi, My CrystalReportViewer won't display the charts in my Crystal Report. I get a red X. I am using C# and MVC. I've read somewehre that I might need a virtual path to the image folder but I am not really sure what that means as my chart is embedded in the report....Maybe I am missing something.     I can find how to define columns only when doing migrations. However i do not need to migrate my model. I want to work with it "virtually". Does AR read columns data only from db? Any way to define columns like in DataMapper? class Post include DataMapper::Resource property :id, Serial property :title, String property :published, Boolean end Now i can play with my model without migrations/connections.

    I want to save file metadata (mostly path/name) along with the contents of the file. I noticed that FileInfo is serializable. Does anyone know data is serialized when you save a FileInfo object? I would assume that only metadata is saved, not the contents of the file?

  • Refresh SWC in FlexBuilder after publishing

    I am using a SWC that was published from Flash CS3 in an Actionscript project in FlexBuider. The problem is that every time I make a change and re-publish the SWC the changes I made are not immediately recognized back in FlexBuilder. In order to have newly published SWC recognized I have to remove the reference to the SWC from the library path and then add it back again. This is tedious. Is there a better way?

(there are no other files in these directories) is it possible to have 'fake/pretty' urls for the above files as below? /directory/subdir_1 /directory/subdir_2 ... so this path would show whether the visitor typed that,/directory/subdir_2/ or /directory/subdir_2/index.php.     Does anyone know why I am not able to include my own, URL encoded URL params with URL encoded spaces? See the URL on my jsBin page constructed from LinkedIn's example--I have added (%3FnestedParam%3Done%20space) at the end of the "URL" value.     in a double-submitted cookie csrf prevention scheme, is it necessary for the server to provide the cookie? it seems i could have javascript on the clients page generate and set a cookie "anti_csrf", then double submit that (once as a cookie, done by the browser, and once in the body of the request). a foreign domain would not be able to read or write the "anti_csrf" cookie to include it in the body of a request. is this secure, or am i overlooking something?

    I want to bind to the Count/amount of items within my DataContext. I have an object, lets say person which has a List<address> as a property. I would like to display the amount of addresses for that person ie: 5 or 6 or whatever the case may be. I've tried {Binding Path=address#.Count} and a few others but that doesnt seem to work. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
