• Insert a Coldfusion struct into a database

  If I wanted to save a contact form submission to the database, how can I insert the form scope in as the submission? It's been some time since I used Coldfusion. The contact forms vary depending on what part of the site it was submitted from, so it needs to scale and handle a form with 5 fields or one with 10 fields. I just want to store the data in a blob table.

  Hello All: I'd like to know how to open the camera inside of a pre-defined frame (not the entire screen). When the view loads, I have a box, and inside it, I want to display what the camera sees.   hi , i am having a site running in Joomla 1.5 i am trying to keep a url image to it near to url. I am using the JSN-Epic template where i am having a line as <link rel="shortcut icon" href="<?php echo $this->baseurl; ?>/images/favicon.ico" /> i have uploaded the favicon.ico to my templates/jsnepic/ but when i load the page the image appears when it starts loading and then disappears while loaded fully. How to resolve this??

  I am using OpenIdLogin (with OpenIdButton) control on my login page, I noticed that there are properties "RememberMe", "RememberMeText" and "RememberMeVisible". However I can't get it to work, is there any example? Say, after the user logged on to my site successufully via Google, the user then decided to close the browser. If the user launch a new browser again, the user should not have to type the login/password again, right? Thanks for help

  On this website,http://www.webdavsystem.com/server/documentation/ms_office_read_only, it states that in order to open a writable version of a MS Office doc this condition has to be met: Your WebDAV server must be configured on site root. Is this still true? Because I tried the SqlStorage sample and it works fine. I deployed the application on IIS 7, under <server>/TestWebDav and MS Office 2010 opened the documents in the sample just fine. Thanks

• AJAX in Rails - doing simple looping to update information when available

  I am trying to get put out a simple site, which would pool the database every few seconds and update the information on the page dynamicly, when theres something new inserted. I am farily new to ruby, but I understand the whole concept of RJS, link_to_function and soforth. The question is, what is the best way how to implement some kind of simple loop, which would run after the page is loaded and update the DOM if there is something new to display. • Web pages show empty band across the top

  In Chrome, site http://www.helpinghandspeople.com has a 16px empty band (background colour shows) across the top of the page. It's not supposed to be there, but I can't figure out how to make it go away. In Firefox, the home page shows fine, but login and a few other pages show a 24px band. Viewing source and running inspect element are not helpful. Does anyone have a suggestion where to look? Thanks Gerry
