    I have a contact form that can be hidden using .slideToggle() but I want the tab used to Toggle the form to change text based on wether the form is in view or hidden. I'm fine until I hit a '[', as in: "gd$when": [{ "startTime": "2006-11-15", "endTime": "2006-11-17", "gd$reminder": [{"minutes": "10"}] }], I tried to do a eventTime = event["gd$when"]["startTime"]; to get to the 'startTime' (Yes, event is the variable for ajax stuff, it's all working fine until I hit the '[') Thanks for any help.

The service returns results successfully when invoked locally from the server, but it fails when invoked from a remote client machine (not in the same domain). I see the request fail in the firebug returning error (401 UnAuthorized) and the response has the following error (Request format is unrecognized for URL unexpectedly ending in '/List').

  • Can the Browser 'Forward' Button be Set from HTML?

    Example: At the bottom of the StackOver Questions page are a bunch of page numbers (1,2,3...), enclosed in a set of prev and next buttons. Clicking next repeatedly will bring me to, say page 5, at which point I will have: The page's prev button will be set to 'http://stackoverflow.com/questions?page=4' The Back button on my Browser will have the same value. The page's next button will be set to 'http://stackoverflow.com/questions?page=6' The Forward button on my Browser - won't be set to anything. Obviously, if I hit the Back button on the Browser, then Forward will have a value, pointing to the URL for page 5 - but not otherwise. Is there any way, from HTML (plus Javascript), to set the value of the Browser's Forward button? Or is this one of those things that HTML is simply forbidden to do?

    i have a question. I need to detect using javacript (or JQuery) when a div is contained inside another and when is not contained anymore. I need something like this: if(div #result).contains (div #dbResults) then{#explainMsg.hide, #errorMsg.hide; if(div #result).not contains (div #dbResults) anymore then {#errorMsg.show}. the "not contains anymore" part is because the div's are added dynamically server side. Obliviously is not the code, but what i need to obtain. thanks

If i set though the jquery code (f11/f10) the callback is called??!!!?
