  • Is there anything like deal() for normal MATLAB arrays?

    When dealing with cell arrays, I can use the deal() function to assign cells to output variables, such as: [a, b, c] = deal(myCell{:}); or just: [a, b, c] = myCell{:}; I would like to do the same thing for a simple array, such as: myArray = [1, 2, 3]; [a, b, c] = deal(myArray(:)); But this doesn't work. What's the alternative?

  • Where can I find a library that parses source code and is able to extract the scope of where your cursor is currently in the code?

    In SublimeText(2), when you press [ctrl + shift + p] (mac osx) you are shown a scope of where your caret/cursor is in the source code at the given moment e.g.: entity.name.tag.inline.any.html meta.tag.inline.any.html text.html.basic I am curious about what library or script is used to parse the document/file and create that scope string. A sidenote: Typing view.syntax_name(view.sel()[0].b) into Sublime's console will output the scope as well.

  • Still failing a function, not sure why...ideas on test cases to run?

    I've been trying to get this Sudoku game working, and I am still failing some of the individual functions. All together the game works, but when I run it through an "autograder", some test cases fail.. Currently I am stuck on the following function, placeValue, failing. I do have the output that I get vs. what the correct one should be, but am confused..what is something going on? EDIT: I do not know what input/calls they make to the function. What happens is that "invalid row" is outputted after every placeValue call, and I can't trace why..     Hi, I build a project in C#.Net 2.0. From another project I have 5 DLLs. Is It possible to include the DLL in the exe, that I only give 1 File to people and not x files? I tried ILMerge, but the output file ever opened a Command prompt with the application - useless.

    Hi, I need to build a component which would take a few XML documents in input and check the following kind of rules: XML1:/bookstore/book[price>35.00] != null and (XML2:/city/name = 'Montreal' or XML3://customer[@language] contains 'en') Basically my component should be able to: substitute the XML tokens with the corresponding XML document(before colon) apply xpath query on this XML document check the xpath output against expected result ("=", "!=", "contains") follow the basic syntax ("and", "or" and parentheses) tell if the rule is true or false Do you know any library which could help me? maybe JavaCC?   • How to construct this query? (Ordering by COUNT() and joining with users table)

    users table: id-user-other columns scores table: id-user_id-score-other columns They're are more than one rows for each user, but there's only two scores you can have. (0 or 1, == win or loss). So I want to output all the users ordered by the number of wins, and all the users ordered by the numbers of losses. I know how to do this by looping through each user, but I was wondering how to do it with one query. Any help is appreciated!

Could not listen on port 1527 on host localhost: java.net.BindException: Address already in use How do I find out what process is already using, or bound to, that port number?

  • How can I stop cURL from outputting the contents of the page it loads into the browser?

    I currently use curl_multi_* to connect to a few sites. Its only sending a few $_GET variables to start a script, but it outputs the html from the sites to the browser. I want to stop this. I already use a short timeout, but sometimes the scripts start fast, and I don't want to set the timeout any lower, in case it causes it not to connect. So how can I stop the output to the browser from cURL?
