  Sorry, that title probably doesn't make much sense. Over the past couple of weeks, we've noticed that the search results from Google for some of our drupal-powered sites are having their page titles hijacked somehow. An example would be: free streaming porn - [Actual page title] There are other variations of the porn prefix, that's one of the more tame ones. I looked in the databases for each of these sites and the titles haven't actually been changed or anything along those lines. When you click on the result to visit the page everything looks normal (sans porn stuff). Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction as to what the cause of this is? Searching Google for the potential problem isn't being much help, yet. Thanks in advance!

Primarily for Windows, but portability (particularly to Mac and iOS) would be desirable. For a small indie game, potentially commercial, though - so I'm looking for something free/low-cost. My requirements are fairly basic - I don't need 3D sound, or many-channels - simple stereo is fine. Just need to be able to mix sound effects and a music stream, maybe decoding one or more compressed audio formats (.ogg/.mp3 etc), with all the basic controls over looping, pitch, volume, etc. Is OpenAL more-or-less the standard choice, or are there other good options out there?

  I have some customers, who expect everything for next to nothing. They also want things to be a certain way, or look a certain way, but when explaining to them why it's not a good idea, and offering suggestions, they don't listen. When things go wrong, they get moody, and demand I do something about it, but when told that it's because they wanted it that way, they don't listen. I've found that after years of being around these types of people, it's had a major impact on the way I deal with people I can't stand, and I've seriously run out of ideas. How do you deal with people who never listen, never learn, and want everything for free?

• Dual boot windows 8.1 acer V3-571G with Ubuntu 13.10

  I am trying to dual boot my acer which came with windows 8 pre-installed. I tried using the tutorial here doing it the simple way but when I load Ubuntu from my transcended flash drive it says that there is no other operating system installed. I tried partitioning my hard drive but I seem to have 3 recovery partitions and even though I have 485GB free I can only allocate 100GB to the new partition. I would like to have most of my hard drive allocated to Ubuntu and just use the windows for programs like microsoft office.

  My question is essentially entirely in the title, but let me add some points to prevent some "why on earth would you want to do that" sort of answers: This is more of a mind experiment than an attempt to implement real software. For fun. Don't worry about computational speed or the number of available memory bytes. Computers get faster and better all of the time. Imagine we have two data files: Mother.dna and Father.dna. What else would be required? (Bonus point for someone who tells me approx how many GB each file will be, and if the size of the files are exactly the same number of bytes for everyone alive on Earth!) There would ideally need to be a way to see what the egg becomes as it becomes a human adult. If you fancy, feel free to outline the design. I am initially thinking that there'd need to be some sort of volumetric voxel-based 3D environment for simulation purposes.

  I was recently introduced to microsoft's tool that analyzes managed code assemblies called FxCop. It points out possible design, localization, performance, and security improvements against a pre defined set of rules (and also accepts custom rules). At first I was unsure how to go about using it as it seems to be aimed at software developers (.exe and .dll) . Its easy to get around this with the following steps: 1)Create a new folder (i.e C:\Code Analysis) 2)Publish your web application into the new folder 3)Open FxCop and add all the dll files from the newly created bin folder  to be scrutinized.   I deal with the following problem. I am customer of one domain reseller, which has fair prices, fine administration, and I have all my domains registered by it. Recently I've created a new webpage using a free web service (those sites where you can create a simple webpages with some template after few clicks). This new web page has default address in the following form: "pagename.provider.cz", but I want to use my own domain "pagename.cz". And that is the problem, because the provider would assign domain name to my presentation only if I registered mentioned domain by him. That wouldn't be a problem, but he is three times more expensive then my favorite one. So I am thinking about registering domain "pagename.cz" under my favorite registrator and then making 301 PHP redirect from it to "pagename.provider.cz". Shall this affect (negatively) my domain ranking? Are there any catches which I shoud care about?

  I have made some research and found that bullet, ode, newton and some others are open source physics engines that should be portable enough (but I have never tried to comile/use anyone of them on phones). I am writing my games for mobile platforms in C++, so the engine should be C or C++. I need a fast engine, since mobile platforms have limited resources. I need a free engine. A good design would be nice to have too. What engine is best suited for my task? What I really would like to hear from you is your direct experience. Documentation and support (for example, forum or an IRC channel) is a really important aspect to take into consideration.

• Ubuntu will not start any more !!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP?

  I really need help , I left my computer downloading all the night and i did donwload 35 go of movies ( legal ....) , I restart the computed in the morning then i booted in my encrypted windows partition for my work. Surprise in the evening when i try to boot on linux again , then it doesnt start as it's telling me low graphic mode , and doesnt boot( happen when it's really full ) . Tryed in rescue and it's telling me i have 0 mo free. Tryed in shell comand sdo root rm - Some files IMPOSSIBLE . it's telling me that my files are only in read only file systems. I mouted my other hard drive in windows as well but there is a '' Write protection '' i can only read the files. Please let me know , what solution do i have ? Should i try live usb with ubuntu ?   I have some free time on my hands and I was thinking about learning a new language. I do not plan to use it in my day-to-day job, but I rather want to expand my way of thinking to get a better sense where the dev world is heading from a language perspective and to don't get stuck in my way when programming by rather try new approaches. I was thinking either a functional language, like Haskell or F# (which is a bit more 'pragmatic from a .NET dev standpoint) or something dynamic (like Python, that in my oppinion has nicer syntax than Ruby). What can you recommend that is enjoyable, at least a bit practical, but most of all, new (from a c# dev perspective). I appreciate any answers.

  Are there any alternatives to voxel based terrains? Such terrain should be fully destructable, allow for arches, overhangs, preserve sharp features where needed and keep consistent topology. Maybe you can explain the problem that makes you ask this question? Voxel based terrain is basically just using a 3D grid of data to store data. There are lots of ways to render that data, but it doesn't get much simpler for storing it. – Byte56 Current isosurface extraction methods aren't most effective/bug-free. Cubical Marching Squares seem to solve most of the issues, however it is a relatively new method and there aren't too many resources about it. (I've found single university paper) Even if we stick to CMS, when we want to add multi-material support, we can either divide surface into multiple meshes, or pass a texture array or texture atlas to shaders, then we are limited to set amount of textures and additionally increase memory-usage alot.
