  • Strange "INavigatorContent" error compiling in 4.0

    I've recently decided to try an upgrade to 4.0. The only error I still can't work out is this one: "The children of Halo navigators must implement INavigatorContent" I seem to be getting it on all my ViewStacks that have validators. <mx:ViewStack xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml"> <mx:NumberValidator id="systolicValidator" source="{systolic}" required="true" property="text" minValue="10" maxValue="300" domain="int"/> <mx:NumberValidator id="diastolicValidator" source="{diastolic}" required="true" property="text" minValue="10" maxValue="200" domain="int"/> <mx:TextInput id="systolic"/> <mx:TextInput id="diastolic"/> ... The error gets thrown on the validator tags. My compiler is set to "flex 3 compatibility mode" and my theme is set to Halo (default). This seems like it should be a really straight forward fix, so I hate to spin my wheels on it for too long. Any ideas what I might be missing?

  • Xcode warning: application executable contains unsupported architecture(s):arm, arm (-19031)

    Hi all. I've been receiving this warning since I loaded my project in last Xcode 4 preview. There was no warning before that but now I can't get rid of it even in Xcode 3.2. I've been googling but nobody seems to have the same error. My project and target settings are correct (IMHO): Architectures: Standard (armv6 armv7), Base SDK: Latest iOS (currently set to iOS 4.2), Build Active Architecture Only: FALSE, Valid Architectures: armv6 armv7. I compared every project setting with other projects and and found no differences. I even have recreated the project starting from scratch and copying classes, resources and frameworks with the same result. I must say that the warning is not shown when I set Debug configuration. I hope someone can help me because I don't know what to do. Thanks in advice.

  • iPhone MFMailComposeViewController's "cancel" button displays Action Sheet w/ incorrect orientation.

    I've been trying to add in-app email functionality and have been somewhat successful. The MailCompose view is displayed properly. But when "Cancel" is pressed the Action Sheet with "Delete", "Save as Draft" and "Cancel" animates in from the left as if the view controller is set to portrait mode*, yet the width (or height depending on how you look at it) is that of an action sheet in landscape mode as seen in the following image: http://dansandland.com/storage/screen-shot-2.png *The view controller is set to Landscape Left, both in the plist file and the shouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation method of all view controllers.   • Prevent recursive CTE visiting nodes multiple times

    Consider the following simple DAG: 1->2->3->4 And a table, #bar, describing this (I'm using SQL Server 2005): parent_id child_id 1 2 2 3 3 4 //... other edges, not connected to the subgraph above Now imagine that I have some other arbitrary criteria that select the first and last edges, i.e. 1-2 and 3-4. I want to use these to find the rest of my graph. I can write a recursive CTE as follows (I'm using terminology from MSDN): with foo(parent_id,child_id) as ( // anchor member that happens to select first and last edges: select parent_id,child_id from #bar where parent_id in (1,3) union all // recursive member: select #bar.* from #bar join foo on #bar.parent_id = foo.child_id ) select parent_id,child_id from foo However, this results in edge 3-4 being selected twice: parent_id child_id 1 2 3 4 2 3 3 4 // 2nd appearance! How can I prevent the query from recursing into subgraphs that have already been described? I could achieve this if, in my "recursive member" part of the query, I could reference all data that has been retrieved by the recursive CTE so far (and supply a predicate indicating in the recursive member excluding nodes already visited). However, I think I can access data that was returned by the last iteration of the recursive member only. This will not scale well when there is a lot of such repetition. Is there a way of preventing this unnecessary additional recursion? Note that I could use "select distinct" in the last line of my statement to achieve the desired results, but this seems to be applied after all the (repeated) recursion is done, so I don't think this is an ideal solution. Edit - hainstech suggests stopping recursion by adding a predicate to exclude recursing down paths that were explicitly in the starting set, i.e. recurse only where foo.child_id not in (1,3). That works for the case above only because it simple - all the repeated sections begin within the anchor set of nodes. It doesn't solve the general case where they may not be. e.g., consider adding edges 1-4 and 4-5 to the above set. Edge 4-5 will be captured twice, even with the suggested predicate. :(

    Hi, so I have this requirement to kick off Activities provided to me at run-time. To facilitate this, I have set up a WorkflowService that receives Activities as Xaml, hydrates them, and kicks them off. Receive Activity accepts a custom type, [DataContract] public class Workflow { [DataMember] public string Xaml { get; set; } } which contains a string whose contents are to be interpreted as Xaml. You can see the VB expression that then converts this Xaml to an Activity and passes it on. Now this second bit, the custom InvokeActivity is where I have questions. First question: 1) given an arbitrary task, provided at runtime [as described above] is it possible to kick off this Activity using Activities that ship with WF4RC, out of the box? Unfortunately, however, this fails. When I attempt to schedule said Activity, the runtime returns with the following exception The provided activity was not part of this workflow definition when its metadata was being processed. The problematic activity named 'DynamicActivity' was provided by the activity named 'InvokeActivity'. Right, so the "dynamic" Activity provided at runtime is not a member of InvokeActivitys metadata. Googled and came across this. Couldn't sort out how to specify an InArgument<Activity> to metadata cache, so my second question is, naturally, how does one address this issue? Is it ill advised to use context.ScheduleActivity (...) in this manner? Eventually, I would like to tap into WF's tracking and possibly persistance facilities. So my third and final question is, in terms of what I would like to do [ie kick off arbitrary workflows inbound from client applications] is this the preferred method?   • Android TranslateAnimation resets after animation

    I'm creating something like a SlideDrawer but with most customization, basically the thing is working but the animation is flickering at the end. To further explain, I got an TranslateAnimation then after this animation it returns back to the original position, if i set setFillAfter then the buttons inside the layout stops working. If i listen to onAnimationEnd and set other's layout to View.GONE the layout fickers. Judging from it is that on animation end, the view goes back to original position before the View.GONE is called. Any advice would be awesome. Thanks

  • Firefox Password script same PW auto login for 1000s devices Possible to use greasemonkey

    I currently work in a position that i have to manage and access 1000s of pages for troubleshooting and new setup.... and im trying to figure out a way for firefox or chrome to setup ANYtime it sees for instance a a web based page for equipment like (CISCO, Linksys, Sonicwall, T1 controllers) from the manufacture in the Title bar or from the originating page place a set up 2 - 3 passwords to auto log on with. 1st one of course being the most common so it logs in faster.. I access about 14 different web based products with passwords tied to each of them and if someway i can grab info stating that hey this company is cisco/sonicwall/linksys/hp/ log on with these set of 3-5 credintials. Using possible If then statements.... is that hard i saw some script files but not sure if its difficult because some apps use the MSG BOX built in feature and some use the form submit method built on the page unless i can have 2 different grease monkey scripts at the same time.... thanks.

  • VS2010, MSDeploy and declaration of parameters

    Hi I'm trying to deploy an ASP.NET MVC 2 app using MSDeploy. I use VS2010 to generate the package as a ZIP. Inside that ZIP is a parameters.xml file that declares the parameters that I can set. I want to be able to set more parameters, using the auto-generated deploy.cmd file like this: MySite.deploy.cmd "-setParam:name='IIS Web Application Name',value=MySite" "-setParam:name=IisVirtualDirectoryPhysicalPath,value=C:\inetpub\MySite" "-setParam:name=httpBinding,value=*:80:www.mysite.dk" That works fine, except for the httpBinding param. That is because that parameter is not declared inside the parameters.xml file that is added to the ZIP container. I could go and add that parameter declaration manually, but isn't there a way to do it from the command line and have it declare parameters I have in another XML file?

    Hi Having two forms, each in it's own jQuery UI tab, how can I post the form in the deselected tab when clicking a new tab? This I need to do to maintain state at the server side when the user navigates between tabs. I have looked into something like $('#tab-container-id').bind('tabsselect', function(event, ui) { ... }); but haven't found a way to get to the tab being hidden and post it's form contents. One way to set this up would be to enclose the whole tab set inside a form element that would be submitted whenever a tab is selected but I would rather have a form inside each tab, each with it's own action (that gets bound to different Spring MVC command objects). Thanks for any hints...

    I'd like to edit an object like the one below. I'd like the UsersSelectedList populated with one or more Users from the UsersGrossList. Using the standard edit-views in mvc, I get only strings and booleans (not shown below) mapped. Many of the examples I find on google utilizes early releases of the mvc framework whereas I use the official 1.0 release.   • Switching DataSources on a ReportViewer in WinForms

    I have created a winform for the users to view view the many reports I am creating for them. I have a drop down list with the report name which triggers the appropriate fields to display the parameters. Once those are filled, they press Submit and the report appears. This works the first time they hit the screen. They can change the parameters and the ReportViewer works fine. Change to a different report, and the I get the following ReportViewer error: An error occurred during local report processing. An error has occurred during the report processing. A data source instance has not been supplied for the data source "CgTempData_BusMaintenance". As far as the process I use: I set reportName (string) the physical RDLC name. I set the dataSource (string) as the DataSource Name I fill a generic DataTable with the data for the report to run from. Make the ReportViewer visible Set the LocalReport.ReportPath = "Reports\\" = reportName; Clear the LocalReport.DataSources.Clear() Add the new LocalReport.DataSources.Add(new ReportDataSource(dataSource, dt)); RefreshReport() on the ReportViewer.     Hello, Is there a way to modify the HTTP response code when using apache axis 1.4 for java? This would be useful for testing purposes, for example simulating server side errors. I've already tried the following: Set the HTTP code directly in the http servlet Request: MessageContext context = MessageContext.getCurrentContext(); HttpServletResponse response = (HttpServletResponse) context.getProperty( HTTPConstants.MC_HTTP_SERVLETRESPONSE); response.setStatus(e.getErrorCode()); // no effect Set the HTTP code as axis message context property: MessageContext context = MessageContext.getCurrentContext(); context.setProperty(HTTPConstants.MC_HTTP_STATUS_CODE, e.getErrorCode()); But this didn't seem to work, the actual HTTP code always was 200.     On Server I'm throwing the exception like this. catch(SqlException exception) { if (exception.Message.Contains("Custom error from stored proc")) { //Exception to be thrown when authentication fails. throw new FaultException<MyServiceFault>(new MyServiceFault { MessageText = exception.Message }); } } And on client end I'm catching the exception catch(FaultException<MyServiceFault> faultException) { } Here is my MyServiceFault [DataContract] public class MyServiceFault { [DataMember] public string MessageText { get; set; } [DataMember] public Guid Id { get; set; } } The problem is that on client, it doesn't go to MyServiceFault catch block instead it goes to communication exception catch block and throws this error System.ServiceModel.CommunicationException: The underlying connection was closed: The connection was closed unexpectedly. ---> System.Net.WebException I've also decorated my service method [FaultContract(typeof(MyServiceFault))] in the interface which is implemented by my service. In my web.config servicebehaviour tag consist <serviceDebug includeExceptionDetailInFaults="true" /> Any idea where I'm going wrong

    Using Visual Studio 2008 SP1 and a VB.NET project; I have some code which i cannot step into. The Immediate Window shows the message "Stepping over method without symbols 'Some.Namespace.Here'" How can i make sure the method always has symbols?! I need to step into every line of code. I am pressing F8 (which is "Step Into" in VS2008, from memory i think it used to be F11 in VS2005). This debugger stuff has always confused me: At the Solution level Property Pages i see a configuration dropdown with 4 values: Active (Debug), Debug, Release, All Configurations. - currently set to "Active (Debug)" At the Project level, i see a configuration dropdown with 2 values: Debug, Release. - currently set to "Debug"

  • What is the easiest way to deploy a MVC2 application from Visaul Studio 2010 to IIS 7.5?

    I´ve tried a couple of different ways to deploy a application to a IIS 7.5 running on my machine for testing purposes and i´ve sort of hit a wall. Nothing works out of the box. Everything assumes I have knowledge I don't have and would prefer not to have to aqquire. Google isn't really helping either with answers ranging from "copy files by hand" to "install teamcity and set it up for CI". I have set up TeamCity for java projects before and it's really over kill for my needs at the moment. So anyone know of a fast, simple and easy way to deploy a application during testing/building?

  • moq SetupSet is obsolete. In place of what?

    Let's say I want to use moq to create a callback on a setter to store the set property in my own field for later use. (Contrived example - but it gets to the point of the question.) I could do something like this: myMock.SetupSet(x => x.MyProperty).Callback(value => myLocalVariable = value); And that works just fine. However, SetupSet is obsolete according to Intellisense. But it doesn't say what should be used as an alternative. I know that moq provides SetupProperty which will autowire the property with a backing field. But that is not what I'm looking for. I want to capture the set value into my own variable. How should I do this using non-obsolete methods?

    Hi, I am having problems with my universal app. I have set the Base SDK to iPhone 3.2 and set the target to 3.1. I have moved the files that are using the UIPopoverController to their own files and they shouldn't be loaded when loading the app on the iPhone.     I am trying to make the CPU transition to a lower P-state. I used pwrtest to determine the tests, and now I want to set the processor frequency to 50%. I executed the following command: powercfg -setacvalue SCHEME_BALANCED SUB_PROCESSOR PROCTHROTTLEMAX 50 When i query the scheme, the value is set to the desired value. However, the processor frequency is not modified (I am using CPU-Z to check the frequency). My system is running Windows 2008 R2. Any ideas? Thanks!

    I need to replace some text in a JNLP file using a DOS batch file to tune it for the local machine. The problem is that the search pattern contains an equals sign which is messing up the string replacement in the batch file. I want to replace the line, <j2se version="1.5" initial-heap-size="100M" max-heap-size="100M"/> with specific settings for the initial and max heap sizes. For example at the moment I have, for /f "tokens=* delims=" %%a in (%filePath%agility.jnlp) do ( set str=%%a set str=!str:initial-heap-size="100M"=initial-heap-size="%min%M"! echo !str!>>%filePath%new.jnlp) but the = in the search pattern is being read as part of the replacement command. How do I escape the equals sign so it is processed as text?

  • Gitosis post-update wont run

    Im running cygwin on a windows vista pc. Ive successfully installed sshd, configured, and built gitosis. I can remotely git clone the gitosis-admin.git repository, made a change to the config, committed and pushed back to cygwin machine successfully. However the post-update doesnt execute and the new repository (as specified in the config) have not created. I have run: chmod 755 /home/git/repositories/gitosis-admin.git/hooks/post-update and an ls -l shows the following: -rwxr-xr-x 1 git None 69 2010-04-13 22:55 post-update yet, when I run: ./post-update I receive the following error: ERROR:gitosis.run_hook:Must have GIT_DIR set in enviroment Ive included in my git .bashrc the line: GIT_DIR=$HOME/repositories/gitosis-admin.git/ and if I type Set at the prompt, I can see: GIT_DIR=/home/git/repositories/gitosis-admin.git/ What else can I try, because Im running out of ideas.

    With a view model containing the field: public bool? IsDefault { get; set; } I get an error when trying to map in the view: <%= Html.CheckBoxFor(model => model.IsDefault) %> Cannot implicitly convert type 'bool?' to 'bool'. An explicit conversion exists (are you missing a cast?) I've tried casting, and using .Value and neither worked. Note the behaviour I would like is that submitting the form should set IsDefault in the model to true or false. A value of null simply means that the model has not been populated.

Sometime when the DoSomething() is called the InjectedBar property is null. In a single-threaded application, everything runs fine. How can this be occuring and how can I prevent it?
