  • Jasper exported to Excel ignoring background color?

    Have you ever had alternating background colors in a Jasper report and then exported it to Excel? The Excel export seems to ignore the alternating color. I've got a Jasper report where the rows alternating background color using the procedure referenced HERE. When I preview it using the viewer or export to PDF it works -- but not when I export to Excel. I've tried using JRXlsExporter and JExcelApiExporter both to no avail. I think it might be a side-effect of how you have to make alternating row colors in Jasper, which I despise to begin with, but have found no other way. Thanks in advance!

  • Latex change color of intext citing with hyperref package and natbib

    I am using the natbib and hyperref package in conjunction with my latex document. I would like to change to the color of my hyppereferenced citations (the box around the citation) from the ugly baseline green to a more muted (violet or navy blue). However, in using the suggested code to do this, I can not get the citation link colors to change. My code is as follows \usepackage[usenames,dvipsnames]{color} \usepackage[round]{natbib} \usepackage[hyperfootnotes=false]{hyperref} \usepackage[hyperfootnotes=false]{hyperref} \hypersetup{ colorlinks=false, citecolor=Violet, linkcolor=Red, urlcolor=Blue} \begin{document} \bibliographystyle{apsr} \bibliography{exp_final} \end{document} However, when I compile (I compiled multiple times to make sure) this my pdf file looks the same as if I had excluded the formatting in the hypersetup (still the same ugly green).   • SQL Server 2008 Cluster Installation - First network name always fails

    I'm testing failover clustering in Windows Server 2008 to host a SQL Server 2008 installation using this installation guide. My base cluster is installed and working properly, as well as clustering the DTC service. However, when it comes time to install SQL Server, my first attempt at installation always fails with the same message and seems to "taint" the network name. For example, with my previous cluster attempt, I was installing SQL Server as VSQL. After approximately 15 attempts of installation and trying to resolve the errors, e.g. changing domain accounts for SQL, setting SPNs, etc., I typoed the network name as VQSL and the installation worked. Similarly on my current cluster, I tried installing with the SQL service named PROD-C1-DB and got the same errors as last time until I tried changing the name to anything else, e.g. PROD-C1-DB1, SQL, TEST, etc., at which point the install works. It will even install to VSQL now. While testing, my install routine was: Run setup.exe from patched media, selecting appropriate options After the install fails, I'd chose "Remove node from a SQL Server failover cluster" and remove the single, failed, node Attempt to diagnose problem, inspect event logs, etc. Delete the computer account that was created for the SQL Service from Active Directory Delete the MSSQL10.MSSQLSERVER folder from the shared data drive The error message I receive from the SQL Server installer is: The following error has occurred: The cluster resource 'SQL Server' could not be brought online. Error: The group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007139F) Along with hundreds of the following errors in the Application event log: [sqsrvres] checkODBCConnectError: sqlstate = 28000; native error = 4818; message = [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'. System configuration notes: Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Edition x64 SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Edition x64 using slipstreamed SP1+CU1 media Dell PowerEdge servers Fibre attached storage

    I'm trying to iterate through all the empty textboxes in a table and change its background colour. I'm using the following JQuery code: $("#btn2").click(function() { var emptyTextBoxes = $('input:text').filter(function() { return this.value == ""; }); emptyTextBoxes.each(function() { this.css('background-color', '#ffff00'); // $('#Col3Txtbx').css('background-color', '#ffff00'); }); }); This does not seem to refer to the textbox which seems strange to me. When I uncomment out the particular textbox, it does reset the background colour. Can someone explain to me what 'This' is referring to?

    Can anyone give me a quick rundown of the color syntax meanings in xcode? I am running into some problems and understanding the color coding I am sure will help me out. Currently I have some variables that are light blue and I think they need to be black but I am not sure of the difference? masterViewController=[[UINavigationController alloc] initWithDestination: destination]; I believe my masterViewController here should be colored black and not the light blue it is currently colored - I am assuming I defined or initialized something wrong somewhere. First day in xCode so I am pretty damn confused!

    I am trying to switch a table from being a many-to-one mapping to being many-to-many with an intermediate mapping table. However, when I switched it over and tried to do a query on it with NHibernate, it's giving me this error: "Interceptor.OnPrepareStatement(SqlString) returned null or empty SqlString." My query was originally something more complex, but I switched it to a basic fetch all and I'm still having the problem: Session.QueryOver<T>().Future(); It would seem to either be a problem in my model mapping files or something in my database.   • Cannot log into Windows XP Embedded after changing computer name

    Hi everyone, I purchased a tablet pc running Windows XP Embedded. The tablet was used in a medical clinic on a domain. For illustrative purposes, say the computer name was "COMPLEXCOMPUTERNAME". There was an administrator account, so I changed the password on account "COMPLEXCOMPUTERNAME\Administrator" to a blank password. I logged out and logged in successfully with the blank administrator password when the log-in dialog said "Log in to COMPLEXCOMPUTERNAME (this computer)". Next I renamed the computer from COMPLEXCOMPUTERNAME to SIMPLECOMPUTERNAME, which required a reboot. I did so, and I can't log in anymore. The log in screen still just says "Log in to COMPLEXCOMPUTERNAME (this computer)", but the account "COMPLEXCOMPUTERNAME\Administrator" no longer works. I suspect that this is because the computer has been renamed to SIMPLECOMPUTERNAME and it can no longer find the account. The "Log in to" dropdown can't be typed in, so I can't change the computer name Windows is trying to log into. I fear that I'm stuck. Is there a way I can get Windows to log into the computer name that I chose? Thanks! -Mike

  • Cannot connect to windows server by name over vpn connection

    I have a rented dedicated windows server on a public ip that is acting as a SQL Server and VPN server. I need to connect to this server via computer name to get replication in place. I cannot use an ip address due to this issue: So, due to this, we are going the VPN route. That is my primary issue: After I am connected to this server's vpn, I can connect to SQL Server using the ip address but I cannot connect by the computer's name as you can see below... Right now, there is no hardware firewall on it since I had it removed to test this issue. I am running Windows 2008 Enterprise Server as the VPN server. I am not sure if the route print will help any from the workstation trying to connect but here is the info: IPv4 Route Table Active Routes: Network Destination Netmask Gateway Interface Metric 10.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 10.0.0.1 10.0.0.2 21 10.0.0.2 255.255.255.255 On-link 10.0.0.2 276 Any other info needed?   • Local references to old server name remain after Windows 2003 server rename

    I have a standalone Win 2003 server with Windows Sharepoint Services (WSS3) running on it. I had to rename the server and I had bunch of problems resulting from this. Note that the server is not in AD environment. Most obvious problems were with Sharepoint, which didn't work. I was somewhat naive to think it will work in the first place, but OK - I've solved this using step 1 & 3 from this site (TNX) Other curious behavior/problems remain. Most disturbing is that Sharepoint isn't able to send email notifications to participants. I noticed there are several references to old server name everywhere I look: in Registry, in Windows Internal Database (MICROSOFT##SSEE). I see instances of old server name in the Sharepoint Central Administration - Operations - Servers in farm. There is reference to a servers: oldname.domain.local oldname.local On one of those servers there is also Windows SharePoint Services Outgoing E-Mail Service (Stopped). Also, when I try to telnet locally to the mail server (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) service), I get a response: 220 oldname.domain.local Microsoft ESMTP MAIL Service, Version: 6.0.3790.4675 ready at Tue, 15 Jun 2010 13:56:19 +0200 IMO these strange naming problems are also the reason why email notifications from within Sharepoint don't work. Can anyone tell me how to correct/replace those references to oldservername? Why is the email service insisting on old name? Of course I would like to try it without reinstalling the server. TNX!

    I have the following functions for colorizing my screen messages: def error(string): return '\033[31;1m' + string + '\033[0m' def standout(string): return '\033[34;1m' + string + '\033[0m' I use them as follows: print error('There was a problem with the program') print "This is normal " + standout("and this stands out") I want to log the output to a file (in addition to STDOUT) WITHOUT the ANSI color codes, hopefully without having to add a second "logging" line to each print statement. The reason is that if you simply python program.py > out then the file out will have the ANSI color codes, which look terrible if you open in a plain text editor. Any advice?

    Date ranges including BC dates is this possible? I would like to return facets for all years between 11000 BCE (BC) and 9000 BCE (BC) using SOLR.   • Find folder name based on string value with batch

    I need to return a full directory name from inside a specified directory that contains .default in the folder name. Basically I'm adding a line in a backup script to backup firefox bookmarks, but the profile name is going to be different on every machine and I need a way to find the folder the bookmarks.html file resides without knowing the firefox profile name I've looked at FIND and FINDSTR but neither seem to be what I need. I also looked at this post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2252785/windows-batch-file-get-folders-path-and-store-them-in-variable It was closer to what I'm looking for, but I just need a folder name, and to use something like regexp to find it Any suggestions on commands to look at or strategies to use?
