    VB6 & SQL Server 2005 When i run the Windows based Software exe file, it is showing the login page, after login page - no screen is displaying, I checked the task manager, in task manager it is showing as software as running, But there is no page is appearing. Is any firewall blocking or some other issue. But software is running with out displaying anythings. How to solve this issue?

    I'm trying to create an actionscript class to serve as a data model for my Flex app. I already have a formatted XML file to read from, and when I was simply declaring the data service in my MXML app I used this code inside the declarations: I'm now trying to create a model class and can't seem to get the same functionality. I've tried importing mx.rpc.http.HTTPService but i think this is different. And using the XML class doesn't seem to allow the ability to define a source url. I'm assuming that I am able to declare a public var inside my class that will read this XML source file as I had done in the main app. If this is possible, how do I do it?

    Hi, I have a JS file that is dependent to another Js file. this Js file is something like this (Common.js) //Some codes here window.onload = PageLoad; //some codes here and then I implement PageLoad function in another Js file. ( I do this because every page has its own PageLoad implementation) and I Load these files like this on my Main.aspx : `<asp:Content ID="Content1" ContentPlaceHolderID="ContentPlaceHolder1" Runat="Server">` `<\script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="PagesJS/pgeMain.js"></script>` `<\script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="JS/Common.js"></script>` ... ... `</asp:Content>` Every thing works fine on local but when I deploy it, sometimes I get PageLoad undefined Error!   • Stylesheets loading but styles not showing...

    Hi- I have a website I created in VS2010 and am trying to run with IIS7. My website starts in all major browsers but for some reason the styles are not applied even though I've confirmed using Firebug that the stylesheets have indeed loaded. Also, when I use the inspect tool to click on an element, I can see in the right-side box the specific styles that are supposed to be applied. I thought this might be a permissions issue but I think I've got those set properly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    We need to load an embedded version of a site written in Flash, and not originally designed to load multiple instances of itself, on a HTML page. The specific issue is how to get them to load in order when embedded, given that they are all being opened by the same instance of the flash player. It's a complicated mapping application, and at the moment, the maps and data get intermixed as the session variables are overwritten by another instance starting to load before the previous one has finished. We need a way to have them load sequentially, one finishing before another starts to load. The most we can specify in the URL is an &order=1 or similar. We have PHP and SQL on the backend. Edit: The embedded versions are being loaded in an iFrame of a parent site. One php file loads one swf, as many times as the parent site desires.

    Hello, I have an application where different users can log in via a single portal login. When they log in, if they belong to more than 1 company they have to select the company they belong to. The theme will change if there is a custom theme for that company. Each page my application has inherits a "CustomPage" class Here is the code for the custom page: public class CustomPage : Page { protected void Page_PreInit(object sender, EventArgs e) { if (Globals.Company != null && Directory.Exists(Page.MapPath("~/App_Themes/" + Globals.Company.CompanyName))) { Page.Theme = Globals.Company.CompanyName; } else { Page.Theme = "Default"; } } } When the customer belongs to more than 1 company, and they select the company they belong to, the theme loads just fine. So, the problem I am having is this: If they belong to just 1 company, the company is automatically selected but the theme does not load right away. However, if I refresh the page, the theme loads just fine. Even the default theme will not load. The page has no css at all until I refresh. I am not using forms authentication and the default theme in the web config is "Default" <pages theme="Default"> Any thoughts to what might be going on?     Hello. My problem is, I need to cURL-load a page that uses Ajax-based search, to get results of that search. And I need to organize a delay between curl_exec() and value returning. In other words, I need to execute curl_exec() for no less than 5 seconds. sleep() seems to stop curl execution and does not work. Will greatly appreciate any hint or clue UPD I don't know how, but on this page http://vkontakte.ru/gsearch.php?section=video&q=sample&name=1, but it requires an account to access curl DOES capture the search made by ajax. But if page tooks too long to load, Ajax returns "action was too fast" error. So I just need to prolong curl execution. Sorry if being unclear.

    I've got an entity with a few properties that gets used a lot in my Hibernate/GWT app. For the most part, everything works fine, but Hibernate refuses to load one of the properties. It doesn't appear in the query, despite being annotated correctly in the entity. The relevant portion of the entity: @Column(name="HasSubSlots") @Type(type="yes_no") public boolean hasSubSlotSupport() { return hasSubSlotSupport; } And the generated SQL query: Hibernate: /* load entities.DeviceModel */ select devicemode0_.DevModel as DevModel1_0_, devicemode0_.InvModelName as InvModel2_1_0_ from DeviceModels devicemode0_ where devicemode0_.DevModel=? Despite the fact that I refer to that property, it's never loaded, lazily or not, and the getter always returns false. Any ideas on how I can dig deeper into this, or what might be wrong?

  • Django: IE doesn't load locahost or loads very SLOWLY

    I'm just starting to learn Django, building a project on my computer, running Windows 7 64-bit, Python 2.7, Django 1.3. Basically whatever I write, it loads in Chrome and Firefox instantly. But for IE (version 9), it just stalls there, and does nothing. I can load up "http://127.0.0.1:8000" on IE and leave the computer on for hours and it doesn't load. Sometimes, when I refresh a couple of times or restart IE it'll work. If I change something in the code, again, Chrome and Firefox reflects changes instantly, whereas IE doesn't - if it loads the page at all. What is going on? I'm losing my mind here....

    Hello, To start off, what I have is a simple Winforms app, with just a save and load button, and with a datagridview control to hold data. What I am looking to do is input some data into the control, hit the save button, and it save all the data to a file locally on the computer, and when I hit load, it loads the file and populates the control appropriately, keeping all rows, columns, and data the same as when saved. Although it sounds fairly simple to me, I cant seem to figure a good way to save and load the data. Can I get a few pointers or examples to get myself started? Thank you.

    I am able to create, write and read an SQLite Database in my Android App. I have a copy of the Database that is fully populated with data, and I want to get that data into the App's Database. Is it possible to access my pouplaed database from inside my App? Or can I at least create a copy of the populated database and then use that copy? Or do I need to do a .dump and put all the inserts into the Android code?

    hi, i encounter an issue with my application. On one hand when my app launches, the first view displayed is a tableview within a tableviewcontroller. On the other hand my app calls a web service to collect data. These methods are in MyAppDelegate\applicationDidFinishLaunching. The thing is that my tableview is made of custom cells that need data from the web service. I noticed that the view (with the tableview) is launched first and then MyAppDelegate\applicationDidFinishLaunchin is executed. As a result the labels of my custom cells are all equal to null as my arrays aren't filled yet by the web service. I would like to know the proper way to make it. If anyone has an idea please tell me. Wallou

  • FLIR: avoiding ugly page loads

    I'm building a site that makes extensive use of FLIR to allow the use of non-websafe fonts. However, pageloads are an ugly process, as first the HTML text version of each field loads and then (a few hundred milliseconds later) it's replaced by its FLIR image counterpart. Is there any way to avoid this sort of thing? I've got a client presentation in a few hours and I know it'll raise eyebrows. My situation is sort of related to this question which is in regards to sIFR, not FLIR. Any ideas? Thanks, Justin

    Hiho, There's an existing website that i need to include into another site which goes like this: a.mysite.com and i need to fetch content from this site in my www.mysite.com website... As i need to access the content of the iframe the Same origin policy produces a problem here. What i did was to configure mod_proxy on Apache to proxy pass all requests from www.mysite.com/a to a.mysite.com This will work fine...but my problem is that im not sure what the best way would be to include those pages. 1. Idea As the content of the iframe is a full featured site with a top navigation...left navigation etc....i would need to change the page template to only show the content box to be able to integrate that page in the iframe. 2. Idea I could just load the DIV where the content lies through JQuery.load() and integrate it into my site. What is the best way to accomplish such a task? How bad is both ideas from the SEO point of view?

Previously I was doing this through createInitialLayout of IPerspectiveFactory but then I realized that this is for defining the page layout only and is usually called when when launching the perspective for the first time only.
