  • Crashplan not starting. Fails to find swt-gtk

    - by Pibben
    I've installed Crashplan on my (K)Ubuntu computer. However, it fails to start and the ui_output.log says: [09.02.12 15:24:43.518 INFO main root ] ************************************************************* [09.02.12 15:24:43.519 INFO main root ] ************************************************************* [09.02.12 15:24:43.524 INFO main root ] Loading lib/swt-64.jar, exists=true [09.02.12 15:24:43.525 INFO main root ] [file:/usr/local/crashplan/lib/com.backup42.desktop.jar, file:/usr/local/crashplan/lang/, file:/usr/local/crashplan/skin/, file:/usr/local/crashplan/lib/swt-64.jar] [09.02.12 15:24:43.527 INFO main root ] STARTED CrashPlanDesktop [09.02.12 15:24:43.528 INFO main root ] CPVERSION = 3.2.1 - 1332824401321 (2012-03-27T05:00:01:321+0000) [09.02.12 15:24:43.529 INFO main root ] ARGS = [ ] [09.02.12 15:24:43.531 INFO main root ] LOCALE = English (United States) [09.02.12 15:24:43.570 ERROR main com.backup42.desktop.CPDesktop ] Failed to launch CPDesktop; java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no swt-gtk-3557 or swt-gtk in swt.library.path, java.library.path or the jar file, java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no swt-gtk-3557 or swt-gtk in swt.library.path, java.library.path or the jar file java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no swt-gtk-3557 or swt-gtk in swt.library.path, java.library.path or the jar file at org.eclipse.swt.internal.Library.loadLibrary(Unknown Source) at org.eclipse.swt.internal.Library.loadLibrary(Unknown Source) at org.eclipse.swt.internal.C.<clinit>(Unknown Source) at org.eclipse.swt.internal.Converter.wcsToMbcs(Unknown Source) at org.eclipse.swt.internal.Converter.wcsToMbcs(Unknown Source) at org.eclipse.swt.widgets.Display.<clinit>(Unknown Source) at com.backup42.desktop.CPDesktop.<init>(CPDesktop.java:231) at com.backup42.desktop.CPDesktop.main(CPDesktop.java:161) [09.02.12 15:24:43.570 ERROR main root ] Failed to launch CPDesktop; java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no swt-gtk-3557 or swt-gtk in swt.library.path, java.library.path or the jar file I've installed the relevant (I think) swt-gtk packages.

  • DNS - domain conflict?

    - by Stefanos.Ioannou
I was given two domains: domain.com & domain.info (they are on GoDaddy). And I was also given two servers, 107.105.38.99 - Rails app and 107.107.90.17 - Wordpress platform, on Digital Ocean. At first, I was instructed to associate domain.com with the 107.107.38.99 (Rails app). Then I was instructed to de-associate this IP with domain.com and associated the 107.107.90.17 with the domain name domain.com. Then I was instructed to associated domain.info with the 107.107.38.99 (Rails app). Right now, when I go to domain.com the WordPress platform (107.107.90.17) loads fine and that is what is expected. But when I go to domain.info for the Rails app (107.107.38.99) I get redirected to domain.com. This is not expected and this is really weird for me. When I ping domain.info I get this: PING domain.info (107.107.38.99): 56 data bytes 64 bytes from 107.107.38.99: icmp_seq=0 ttl=50 time=74.601 ms Which is the expected result showing the correct IP but I don't understand why I get redirected to domain.com...(which when I ping is:) domain 64 bytes from 107.107.90.17: icmp_seq=0 ttl=50 time=75.057 ms The PTR Records on Digital Ocean are as follows: IP Address PTR Record 107.107.38.99 domain.info. 107.107.90.17 domain.com. and the DNS configurations on Digital Ocean are: domain.com A: @ 107.107.90.17 CNAME: * @ domain.info A: @ 107.107.38.99 CNAME: * @ I am not sure what the issue is, if you have any clue please let me know, I will be really grateful. If you need any other info let me know.

  • Deploying war files in tomcat6

    - by user3215
I am using tomcat5.5 for a long on ubuntu servers 8.10 and 9.10 and '/usr/share/tomcat/webapps/' is the path where I place my .war files and access them on the browser over network. On a sytem I've installed tomcat6 and I'm failing to find that where do I place my .war file of tomcat6's webapps. I checked deploying war under /var/lib/tomcat6/webapps/ and the war file is extracted and I think this should be the location but I could not access the page when I tried http://serverip:8080/myapp. I could access the default page properly when I navigate to http://serverip:8080. The same war file is working fine on tomcat servers which were not installed from apt repository. • How to best show progress info when using ADO.NET?

    - by Yadyn
I want to show the user detailed progress information when performing potentially lengthy database operations. Specifically, when inserting/updating data that may be on the order of hundreds of KB or MB. Currently, I'm using in-memory DataTables and DataRows which are then synced with the database via TableAdapter.Update calls. This works fine and dandy, but the single call leaves little opportunity to glean any kind of progress info to show to the user. I have no idea how much data is passing through the network to the remote DB or its progress. Basically, all I know is when Update returns and it is assumed complete (barring any errors or exceptions). But this means all I can show is 0% and then a pause and then 100%. I can count the number of rows, even going so far to cound how many are actually Modified or Added, and I could even maybe calculate per DataRow its estimated size based on the datatype of each column, using sizeof for value types like int and checking length for things like strings or byte arrays. With that, I could probably determine, before updating, an estimated total transfer size, but I'm still stuck without any progress info once Update is called on the TableAdapter. Am I stuck just using an indeterminate progress bar or mouse waiting cursor? Would I need to radically change our data access layer to be able to hook into this kind of information? Even if I can't get it down to the precise KB transferred (like a web browser file download progress bar), could I at least know when each DataRow/DataTable finishes or something? How do you best show this kind of progress info using ADO.NET?

  • drupal themes: .info file: how do I add more than 1 css file / js file to my theme?

    - by egarcia
I'm creating a new Drupal theme. Until now, I only needed to include a single css file and a single js file. So my theme.info file had something like this: stylesheets[all][] = css/style.css scripts[] = js/script.js Now I must include jquery and jquery-ui in order to use a calendar date. These come with 2 new javascript files, and 1 additonal css file that I must add to the site. The calendar input form is going to be used in all pages (on a side block) so it is ok for me to load the extra css/javascript on all pages. I think the easiest thing would be to reference them on the .info file itself. At first I tried to just put them there with separate spaces: stylesheets[all][] = css/style.css css/ui-lightness/jquery-ui-1.8.1.custom.css scripts[] = js/jquery-1.4.2.min.js js/jquery-ui-1.8.1.custom.min.js js/reservations.js I emptied drupal's cache and... none of them loaded. I then tried separating each file with a comma, and flushing the cache again. Same result. I've browsed some drupal pages, but could not find how to add several javascript/css files on one theme (they always seem to add just 1 of each). So, how do I include several css/javascript files on the .info file?

  • Why doesn't Maven's mvn clean ever work the first time?

    - by hoffmandirt
Nine times out of ten when I run mvn clean on my projects I experience a build error. I have to execute mvn clean multiple times until the build error goes away. Does anyone else experience this? Is there any way to fix this within Maven? If not, how do you get around it? I wrote a bat file that deletes the target folders and that works well, but it's not practical when you are working on multiple projects. I am using Maven 2.2.1. • Juju stuck in "pending" state when using LXC

So I'm trying to get started with Juju, and tried to do this locally using LXC. I followed the instructions here: How do I configure juju for local usage? • Can't boot 12.04 installed alongside Windows 7

    - by PalaceChan
I realize there are other questions like this one here, but I have visited them and tried several things and nothing is helping. One of them had a suggestion to boot the liveCD, and sudo mount /dev/sda* /mnt and to then chroot and reinstall grub. I did this and it did not help. Then on the Windows side, I downloaded a free version of easyBCD and chose to add a Grub2 Ubuntu 12.04 entry. On restart I saw this entry, but when I click on it it takes me to a Windows failed to boot error, as if it wasn't even trying to boot Ubuntu. I have booted from Ubuntu liveCD once again and have a snapshot of my GParted I ran this bootinfoscript thing from the liveCD, here are my results: It seems grub is on sda. • Marking Current Location on Map, Android

    - by deewangan
Hi every one, i followed some tutorials to create an application that shows the current position of the user on the map with a marking. but for some reasons i can't get to work the marking part? the other parts works well, but whenever i add the marking code the application crashes. i hope someone could help me.here is the code: public class LocationActivity extends MapActivity { /** Called when the activity is first created. */ private MapView mapView; private LocationManager lm; private LocationListener ll; private MapController mc; GeoPoint p = null; Drawable defaultMarker = null; @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.main); mapView = (MapView)findViewById(R.id.mapView); //show zoom in/out buttons mapView.setBuiltInZoomControls(true); //Standard view of the map(map/sat) mapView.setSatellite(false); //get controller of the map for zooming in/out mc = mapView.getController(); // Zoom Level mc.setZoom(18); MyLocationOverlay myLocationOverlay = new MyLocationOverlay(); List<Overlay> list = mapView.getOverlays(); list.add(myLocationOverlay); lm = (LocationManager)getSystemService(Context.LOCATION_SERVICE); ll = new MyLocationListener(); lm.requestLocationUpdates( LocationManager.GPS_PROVIDER, 0, 0, ll); //Get the current location in start-up GeoPoint initGeoPoint = new GeoPoint( (int)(lm.getLastKnownLocation( LocationManager.GPS_PROVIDER) .getLatitude()*1000000), (int)(lm.getLastKnownLocation( LocationManager.GPS_PROVIDER) .getLongitude()*1000000)); mc.animateTo(initGeoPoint); } protected class MyLocationOverlay extends com.google.android.maps.Overlay { @Override public boolean draw(Canvas canvas, MapView mapView, boolean shadow, long when) { Paint paint = new Paint(); super.draw(canvas, mapView, shadow); // Converts lat/lng-Point to OUR coordinates on the screen. Point myScreenCoords = new Point(); mapView.getProjection().toPixels(p, myScreenCoords); paint.setStrokeWidth(1); paint.setARGB(255, 255, 255, 255); paint.setStyle(Paint.Style.STROKE); Bitmap bmp = BitmapFactory.decodeResource(getResources(), R.drawable.push); canvas.drawBitmap(bmp, myScreenCoords.x, myScreenCoords.y, paint); canvas.drawText("I am here...", myScreenCoords.x, myScreenCoords.y, paint); return true; } } private class MyLocationListener implements LocationListener{ public void onLocationChanged(Location argLocation) { // TODO Auto-generated method stub GeoPoint myGeoPoint = new GeoPoint( (int)(argLocation.getLatitude()*1000000), (int)(argLocation.getLongitude()*1000000)); • Connection reset when calling disconnect() using enterprisedt's ftp java framework

    - by Frederik Wordenskjold
I'm having trouble disconnecting from a ftp-server, using the enterprisedt java ftp framework. I can simply not call disconnect() on a FileTransferClient object without getting an error. I do not do anything, besides connecting to the server, and then disconnecting: // create client log.info("Creating FTP client"); ftp = new FileTransferClient(); // set remote host log.info("Setting remote host"); ftp.setRemoteHost(host); ftp.setUserName(username); ftp.setPassword(password); // connect to the server log.info("Connecting to server " + host); ftp.connect(); log.info("Connected and logged in to server " + host); // Shut down client log.info("Quitting client"); ftp.disconnect(); log.info("Example complete"); When running this, the log reads: INFO [test] 28 maj 2010 16:57:20.216 : Creating FTP client INFO [test] 28 maj 2010 16:57:20.263 : Setting remote host INFO [test] 28 maj 2010 16:57:20.263 : Connecting to server x INFO [test] 28 maj 2010 16:57:20.979 : Connected and logged in to server x INFO [test] 28 maj 2010 16:57:20.979 : Quitting client ERROR [FTPControlSocket] 28 maj 2010 16:57:21.026 : Read failed ('' read so far) And the stacktrace: com.enterprisedt.net.ftp.ControlChannelIOException: Connection reset at com.enterprisedt.net.ftp.FTPControlSocket.readLine(FTPControlSocket.java:1029) at com.enterprisedt.net.ftp.FTPControlSocket.readReply(FTPControlSocket.java:1089) at com.enterprisedt.net.ftp.FTPControlSocket.sendCommand(FTPControlSocket.java:988) at com.enterprisedt.net.ftp.FTPClient.quit(FTPClient.java:4044) at com.enterprisedt.net.ftp.FileTransferClient.disconnect(FileTransferClient.java:1034) at test.main(test.java:46) It should be noted, that I without problems can connect, and do stuff with the server, like getting a list of files in the current working directory. But I cant, for some reason, disconnect! I've tried using both active and passive mode. The above example is by the way copy/pasted from their own example. I cannot fint ANYTHING related to this by doing a Google-search, so I was hoping you have any suggestions, or experience with this issue.

  • Setting up a pc bluetooth server for android

    - by Del
    Alright, I've been reading a lot of topics the past two or three days and nothing seems to have asked this. I am writing a PC side server for my andriod device, this is for exchanging some information and general debugging. Eventually I will be connecting to a SPP device to control a microcontroller. I have managed, using the following (Android to pc) to connect to rfcomm channel 11 and exchange data between my android device and my pc. Method m = device.getClass().getMethod("createRfcommSocket", new Class[] { int.class }); tmp = (BluetoothSocket) m.invoke(device, Integer.valueOf(11)); I have attempted the createRfcommSocketToServiceRecord(UUID) method, with absolutely no luck. For the PC side, I have been using the C Bluez stack for linux. I have the following code which registers the service and opens a server socket: int main(int argc, char **argv) { struct sockaddr_rc loc_addr = { 0 }, rem_addr = { 0 }; char buf[1024] = { 0 }; char str[1024] = { 0 }; int s, client, bytes_read; sdp_session_t *session; socklen_t opt = sizeof(rem_addr); session = register_service(); s = socket(AF_BLUETOOTH, SOCK_STREAM, BTPROTO_RFCOMM); loc_addr.rc_family = AF_BLUETOOTH; loc_addr.rc_bdaddr = *BDADDR_ANY; loc_addr.rc_channel = (uint8_t) 11; bind(s, (struct sockaddr *)&loc_addr, sizeof(loc_addr)); listen(s, 1); client = accept(s, (struct sockaddr *)&rem_addr, &opt); ba2str( &rem_addr.rc_bdaddr, buf ); fprintf(stderr, "accepted connection from %s\n", buf); memset(buf, 0, sizeof(buf)); bytes_read = read(client, buf, sizeof(buf)); if( bytes_read 0 ) { printf("received [%s]\n", buf); } sprintf(str,"to Android."); printf("sent [%s]\n",str); write(client, str, sizeof(str)); close(client); close(s); sdp_close( session ); return 0; } sdp_session_t *register_service() { uint32_t svc_uuid_int[] = { 0x00000000,0x00000000,0x00000000,0x00000000 };   • How to modify a xml file using PHP? use a node to retrieve the value of new child nodes and add them

    - by Avinash Sonee
I have pasted the example of what I need here : http://pastie.org/1005178 I have a xml file with say the following info <state> <info> <name>hello</name> <zip>51678</zip> </info> <info> <name>world</name> <zip>54678</zip> </info> </state> Now I need to create a new xml file which has the following <state> <info> <name>hello</name> <zip>51678</zip> <lat>17.89</lat> <lon>78.90</lon> </info> <info> <name>world</name> <zip>54678</zip> <lat>16.89</lat> <lon>83.45</lon> </info> </state> So, basically I need to add lat and lon nodes to each info element. these lat and lon correspond to the zip code which are stored in a mysql file which contains 3 fields - pin, lat and lon How do i do this recursively. I have say 1000 info elements in a file Please give me a sample code because I have already tried using simplexml and read the documentation but doesn't see to understand it properly

  • Heroku DJango app development on Windows

I'm trying to start a Django app on Heroku using Windows and I'm getting stuck on the following error when I try to pip install psycopg2: Downloading/unpacking psycopg2 Downloading psycopg2-2.4.5.tar.gz (719Kb): 719Kb downloaded Running setup.py egg_info for package psycopg2 Error: pg_config executable not found. I also turned up a link that says you gt into trouble if you don't have the postgres bin folder in your Path so I installed Postgres manually and tried again. This time I get: error: Unable to find vcvarsall.bat I am still a python N00b so I am lost. Could someone point me in a general direction?

  • How to send connection type (SSH|Telnet) info in Radius Access Requests on Cisco router?

    - by Gianni Costanzi
I've configured the following on a cisco router: aaa authentication login default group radius local ! radius-server host x.x.x.x auth-port 1012 acct-port 1013 radius-server host y.y.y.y auth-port 1012 acct-port 1013 radius-server retransmit 1 radius-server timeout 3 radius-server key 7 xxxxxxxxx I'd like to be able to specify some radius options in order to add information about the type of connection for which a user is being authenticated, i.e. I'd like the radius server to receive in the Cisco Router's Radius Access Request information about the connection being SSH or Telnet.. I'd like to find something that automatically adds this info in the access request, without specific configurations on VTY lines dedicated to SSH and to Telnet. Any idea about that?

  • How can I remove the ssh last login info?

    - by Gnijuohz
Whenever I log into a server using ssh. The prompt gives me "last login" information. I was wondering where this information comes from. How can I remove this record so when someone else log into the same server, the person would see my login info with my ip in it? So how can I do this? For the record, I am not hacking someone's computer and the server runs Ubuntu 12.04. EDIT: which file logs this kind of information? If I find the file, then I can do anything to it as root. Thanks.

  • SSL / HTTP / No Response to Curl

    - by Alex McHale
I am trying to send commands to a SOAP service, and getting nothing in reply. The SOAP service is at a completely separate site from either server I am testing with. I have written a dummy script with the SOAP XML embedded. When I run it at my local site, on any of three machines -- OSX, Ubuntu, or CentOS 5.3 -- it completes successfully with a good response. I then sent the script to our public host at Slicehost, where I fail to get the response back from the SOAP service. It accepts the TCP socket and proceeds with the SSL handshake. I do not however receive any valid HTTP response. This is the case whether I use my script or curl on the command line. I have rewritten the script using SOAP4R, Net::HTTP and Curb. All of which work at my local site, none of which work at the Slicehost site. I have tried to assemble the CentOS box as closely to match my Slicehost server as possible. I rebuilt the Slice to be a stock CentOS 5.3 and stock CentOS 5.4 with the same results. When I look at a tcpdump of the bad sessions on Slicehost, I see my script or curl send the XML to the remote server, and nothing comes back. When I look at the tcpdump at my local site, I see the response just fine. I have entirely disabled iptables on the Slice. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing these results? Please let me know what additional information I can furnish. Thank you! Below is a wire trace of a sample session. The IP that starts with 173 is my server while the IP that starts with 12 is the SOAP server's. • annotationView didChangeDragState being fired multiple times

    - by RodH257
    I've got a draggable annotation in IOS4 mapkit, and I'm trying to call an event when the annotation is dragged to a new position. my code currently looks like: - (void)mapView:(MKMapView *)mapView annotationView:(MKAnnotationView *)annotationView didChangeDragState:(MKAnnotationViewDragState)newState fromOldState:(MKAnnotationViewDragState)oldState { if (newState == MKAnnotationViewDragStateEnding) { CLLocationCoordinate2D droppedAt = annotationView.annotation.coordinate; NSLog(@"dropped at %f,%f", droppedAt.latitude, droppedAt.longitude); //update the annotation //see if its an information annotation if ([annotationView.annotation isKindOfClass:[InfoAnnotation class]]) { NSLog(@"Info annotation updating.."); InfoAnnotation* userAnnotation = ((InfoAnnotation *)annotationView.annotation); [userAnnotation updateLocationWithServerForConvoy: self.title]; } } } the code simply logs the update and then tells the annotation to send its update to my server, which is a custom method. This method seems to be getting fired multiple times, see the log here: 2011-06-15 01:12:39.347 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.340206,-122.027550 2011-06-15 01:12:39.347 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:39.658 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.340206,-122.027550 2011-06-15 01:12:39.659 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:39.957 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.340206,-122.027550 2011-06-15 01:12:39.958 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:43.415 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.339251,-122.026691 2011-06-15 01:12:43.416 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:43.713 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.339251,-122.026691 2011-06-15 01:12:43.713 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:44.006 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.339251,-122.026691 2011-06-15 01:12:44.006 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:44.297 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.339251,-122.026691 2011-06-15 01:12:44.297 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:54.825 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.337135,-122.025833 2011-06-15 01:12:54.825 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:55.150 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.337135,-122.025833 2011-06-15 01:12:55.150 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:55.475 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.337135,-122.025833 2011-06-15 01:12:55.476 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:55.771 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.337135,-122.025833 2011-06-15 01:12:55.772 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating.. 2011-06-15 01:12:56.070 Convoy[1699:207] dropped at 37.337135,-122.025833 2011-06-15 01:12:56.070 Convoy[1699:207] Info annotation updating..   • H12 timeout error on Heroku

    - by snowangel
Can anyone shed some light on what's causing this timeout error on Heroku (at 2012-07-08T08:58:33+00:00)? The docs say that it's because of some long running process. • Pyramid.security: Is getting user info from a database with unauthenticated_userid(request) really secure?

    - by yourfriendzak
I'm trying to make an accesible cache of user data using Pyramid doc's "Making A “User Object” Available as a Request Attribute" example. They're using this code to return a user object to set_request_property: from pyramid.security import unauthenticated_userid def get_user(request): # the below line is just an example, use your own method of # accessing a database connection here (this could even be another # request property such as request.db, implemented using this same # pattern). dbconn = request.registry.settings['dbconn'] userid = unauthenticated_userid(request) if userid is not None: # this should return None if the user doesn't exist # in the database return dbconn['users'].query({'id':userid}) I don't understand why they're using unauthenticated_userid(request) to lookup user info from the database...isn't that insecure? That means that user might not be logged in, so why are you using that ID to get there private info from the database? Shouldn't userid = authenticated_userid(request) be used instead to make sure the user is logged in? What's the advantage of using unauthenticated_userid(request)?
