• What is the best way to generate a sitemap?

  Hi everybody, I need to build a sitemap for my website. The url will be "www.example.com/mysitemap.html". I know that there are some tools that generate automatically an XML file that contains the reachable URLs and also improve the SEO. So my questions are: How can I build this HTML page going from the generated XML? Or am I wrong and this kind of HTML page is built manually? • Creating an image from webcam every x miliseconds

  Hello everyone, I am using c# to integrate with a web cam. I need to generate a snapshot image every x miliseconds and save it to file. I already have the code up and running to save to file on a button click event, however I wonder what am I supposed to do when taking snapshots in the background - Should this be multi threaded? I'm honestly not sure. I could just block the UI thread, put Thread.Sleep and then just take the snapshot, but I don't know if this is right. I thought of using a background worker, but I am now experiencing cross threaded difficulties with SendMessage... So I wonder if I should even go and bother to multi-thread or just block the UI. Help greatly appertained, thanks in advance.

• Imitate database in C

  I am fairly new to C. (I have good knowledge of C# [Visual Studio] and Java [Eclipse]) I want to make a program that stores information. My first instinct was to use a database like SQL Server. But I don't think that it is compatible with C. So now I have two options: Create a struct (also typedef) containing the data types. Find a way to integrate SQLite through a C header file Which option do you think is best? Or do you have another option? I am kind of leaning toward making a struct with a typedef, but could be pursuaded to change my mind.

• iPhone - Drawing 2D Shapes

  Hi guys! I have an array of 2D points which make an irregular polygon. What I want to do is draw the borders of it and then fill it with a color. I am using Cocos2d to code the game around, but I have not found a fill function in Cocos2d, only the ccDrawLine and such. Is there a simple way to draw filled shapes in Cocos2? I have also noted that Core Graphics would work beautifully for this purpose, but I am not able to integrate it with Cocos2d. I put this in to the draw function of my CCLayer: CGContextRef ctx = UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext(); CGContextClearRect(ctx, [[UIScreen mainScreen] bounds]); And every time I run it i get this error: <Error>: CGContextClearRect: invalid context I really need to get this working... Any ideas?

• calling webservice in java servlet

  I have created a servlet which displays a form having some fields and a submit button and also created a web service having methods which are needed in my servlet. I have deployed the web service on Tomcat 5.5.9/Axis and servlet web application on Tomcat ( same instance of Tomcat) using eclipse. Since one is web service and other is web application both are running on separate instances of tomcat, so when i run them separately i.e servlet without the call to web service and a client that access that webservice it works fine but when i integrate them both i get a error like exception: javax.servlet.ServletException I would like to call the web service and return the result when i press the button Please advice me on how to implement that.

• C# and Linq: Generating SQL Backup/Restore From Code

  I'm working with a C# and Linq to SQL Winforms app and needed to integrate backup and restores through the program. I used SMO and got it working pretty smoothly. The issue, however, is that the app is deployed using ClickOnce, which I like very much - but since I had to include the dll's the download size jumped from 3mb = 15mb. I know they've only got to download it once, but it also sucks for me as Visual Studio 2010 seems to upload the dll's every time and that takes a while on AT&T broadband (eh). So, anyone have any suggestion on how I can work out an effective backup/restore solution without using SMO objects?

  Hi Guyz, i want to integrate maps using map kit in iphone, and i am successful at that, but now the problem which i am facing is i have 2 locations coordinates, Location1 and Location2, now i want those two points to be shown on map but i want that they appear on the screen both at 1 time, means if they are very far then the zoom level goes to that point and show those two points on the map, if they are near to each other then zoom level shows from that angel (i mean very near). now i know that using longitude delta and latitude delta i can fix this problem, but i cant find a way to make it dynamic, so that i dont have to hardcode the delta value Any Help appreciated.   I'm sure it's pretty straightforward since someone just solved a similar problem I had. I have a folder full of city images and need users to see the image corresponding to their city. Right now I'm getting the users location without problem using "geoip_city()" but I don't quite know how to integrate it into the URL of the image. All images have the following format: New York.jpg, Boston.jpg so I just need to make the script put the location before .jpg This is what I'm trying now: <img src="blank.png" id="image" > <script type="text/javascript"> document.getElementById('image').src = "Imagenes/grupos/' + geoip_city() + '.jpg"; </script> I believe I'm just messing with the quotes or something similar.   Hi, I'm trying to integrate Sugar CRM with one of my projects. I'm using Apache Axis as my SOAP client. I've created the Sugar CRM client Stub classes using Apache Axis. I'm able to login and add Leads, Opportunities, Accounts and Contacts. But I'm unable to add a relation ship between my Account and Opportunity. I've found following method in the SugarsoapPortType port.set_relationship(session, module_name, module_id, link_field_name, related_ids, name_value_list, delete) but I cannot understand the different parameters required by this method.   In a website, I need to integrate membership and authentication. So I want to use the functionality of ASP.NET Membership, but I have other custom stuff, that a "user" has to do. So I am sitting here with my pencil and paper, drawing lines for my domain model... And how can I best utilize the ASP.Net membership, but extend it to fill my needs? Should I create a class that inherits from a MembershipUser and extend it with my own properties and methods (and save this in a seperate table). Or should I let the MembershipUser be a property on my custom User/Client object? What would be a good solid way to do this?

  I am trying to unlock a file from a C# program, using unlocker. In my UI, I put a button to unlock the file the app couldn't delete. When the user pushes the button, I want unlocker (the famous app) to be opened. I have read about in the Unlocker web, and there is some explanations about the commandline to use but nothing works. I write the following code but nothing happens: "c:\Program Files\unlocker\unlocker.exe" -L "PATHFORTHEFILE.doc" Nothing happens. I have tried without parameters and with -LU. Any idea? Something more efficient than unlocker to integrate it with software?

• How do I include external Libraries in CodeIgniter?

  I'm new to codeigniter, and I'm trying to integrate amazon's FPS into my page. There are a bunch of libraries and models that go with Amazon FPS, which I would need included to make the appropriate calls. How do I include them in CodeIgniter? I tried placing the entire Amazon folder inside the system/libraries directory, and then tried including libraries with $this-load-library( 'Amazon/FPS/Client' ); However, I run into problems with the relative path there, because Client.php contains the statement require_once ('Amazon/FPS/Interface.php'); ... which is in the same folder. There has to be a better way to do all this - can anyone please help? Thanks!!

  I haven't implemented any code, I'm still working the overall architecture for a new application and this going to be the first time I use JSF+Spring. I need to put web services in front of the Spring service beans (business logic tier) since these beans could be accessed by other applications besides the presentation tier. While defining the different layers or tiers for the application, I feel unsure about how to integrate JSF (the presentation tier) with Spring (the business tier in this application). I'm considering to define some sort of common tier or service tier in order to provide the glue code for JSF and Spring, but before that I want to hear from others what have they done or if they have used other frameworks to help with the glue code for this scenario (I already checked Spring MVC/Spring Faces, but I'm not sure if that's what I need since I'm thinking of this application more like JSF-centric than Spring-centric, but maybe you could help me about considering another approach).   I'm trying to integrate Hudson into our development process, and everything is going smooth except for one thing. I had been using Phing to do deployments, and one of the things that was being triggered was an email to our tech support email address containing a list of all the commit messages between the last time code was deployed and the present SVN revision. I was doing something like this: read in a file from the root directory of the currently-deployed application that contains the SVN revision when the app was deployed place that value in a Phing variable insert that value into a command to send the SVN commit messages via email create a file in the root directory of the newly-deployed application that contains the current SVN revision I'd like to be able to add that information to the email that gets sent out by Hudson when a successful build goes out. Any pointers on how to accomplish this task in Hudson would be greatly appreciated.

• Architectural decision : QT or Eclipse Platform ?

  We are in the process of designing a tool to be used with HDEM(High Definition Electron Microscope).We get stacks of 2D images from HDEM and first step is 'detecting borders' on the sections.After detecting edges of 2D slices ,next step is construct the 3D model using these 2D slices. This 'border detecting' algorithm(s) is/are implemented by one of professor and he has used and suggests to use C.(to gain high performance and probably will parallelise in future) We have to develop comprehensive UI ,3D viewer ,2D editor...etc and use this algorithm. Application should support usual features like project save/open.Undo,Redo...etc Our technology decisions are: A) Build entire platform from the scratch using QT. B) Use Eclipse Platform Our concerns are, if we choose A) we can easily integrate the 'border detecting' algorithm(s) because the development environment is C/C++ But we have to implement the basic features from the scratch. If we choose B) we get basic features from the Eclipse platform , but integrating C libraries going to be a tedious task. Any suggestions on this?

I don't found anything in the doc to manage forms by spring and the attribute "type" is mandatory for form in struts-config. Someone can help me please ?

I am trying to use django.contrib.comments, I saw the table in the database like this, but how can I integrate it with user_id, user_photos, user_name, user_email....and those things with the django commenting system? I also tried to use thread-comments, but I can't configure it properly, is the django threadedcomments table similar to following ? Please let me know if any of you have done this before....all I need is a user login, and post comments, and then show list of comments with users' profile photos and username, as well as there comments. • Integration (math) in C++

  Hi all, I'm looking for a library to find the integral of a given set of random data (rather than a function) in C++ (or C, but preferably C++). There is another question asking about integration in C but the answers discuss more how to integrate a function (I think...). I understand that this can be done simply by calculating the area under the line segment between each pair of points from start to finish, but I'd rather not reinvent the wheel if this has already been done. I apologize in advance if this is a duplicate; I searched pretty extensively to no avail. My math isn't as strong as I'd like it so it's entirely possible I'm using the wrong terminology.
