  I suppose that my main Linux user account password serves as my SSH password as well. Is there a way I can modify this? As it turns out, I'd like to have a REALLY secure SSH password for obvious reasons, but a less secure local password, as it makes typing in passwords a heck of a lot easier on a machine. Is there a way I can change my account password in SSH without changing my Linux user password?

  Hi, My web server container is Tomcat 6.0.14 JVM 1.6.0_17-b04 BlazeDS 3.2.0.3978 Im sending request from the same local machine via AMF to BlazeDS server and only first request takes about 10secend to proceed. Each next request is preceeding correctly (very fast, less than 0.5s). Anyone know what's the reason of soo slow responsing? I'm a developer, not administrator so please be patient :)

• Using "Active Directory Users and Computers" for a different domain

  How can I manage a domain with the "Active Directory Users and Computers" from a computer that is not on that domain? I realize I'll need some domain admin (or less) credentials, but that's fine. I have 2 scenarios where I'd like to do this: From a machine on Domain 1 but I'd also like to manage Domain 2 (the 2 domains are in no way related) From a laptop that is not a member of any domain. I've heard CentOS performs better under load, however I am aware that Debian has a much larger package repository. • Black Screen After Sleep (Win 8)

  I have an SSD only, Intel HD Graphics only, Ultrabook running on Windows 8 64-bit and after I turn it back on, after a long sleep of a few hours, the screen remains black even though the power is on (the fan and keyboard backlight are on). I have to force a shut down and switch it back on to use it normally again. Hibernation and hybrid-sleep are turned off. It comes out of sleep of less than an hour just fine. Any advise? Mark

Is the actual throughput attainable with such a card under linux 40, 30, 20, or even as low as 10 megabytes per second, eg. no better than a normal 100BaseT network card?

  I was just thinking about how nice virtual machines are...and how even "rebooting" is less painful, because at the very least, you don't have to wait for your physical computer to turn off and on with all the mobo shannanigans at the start... so, what if I ran everything in a virtual machine?   As a general rule of thumb, if there are two similar GPUs from the same line (i.e. an NVIDIA GTX 260 vs a NVIDIA GTX 280), will the less powerful or more powerful GPU run hotter? This is assuming all other factors stay the same - hardware configuration, cooling setup, ingame settings, etc. Or does this depend entirely upon the GPU itself? I do remember reading that the GTX 280 in this example was terribly inefficient with power and cooling.

(I realized that I prefer to run with about 168 bpm in my ears).
