  • Why are cookies unrecognized when a link is clicked from an external source (i.e. Excel, Word, etc..

    - by Nick
    I noticed that when a link is clicked externally from the web browser, such as from Excel or Word, that my session cookie is initially unrecognized, even if the link opens up in a new tab of the same browser window. The browser ends up recognizing its cookie eventually, but I am puzzled as to why that initial link from Excel or Word doesn't work. To make it even more challenging, clicking a link works fine from Outlook. Does anybody know why this might be happening? I'm using the Zend Framework with PHP 5.3.

    I was trying to write a simple array flatten method, but it does not work using instance variable. It works only using class variables. • Call Webservices&hellip;Maybe!?

    - by MOSSLover
    So I have been doing preliminary work for my iOS talk for a while, but did not get into the meat of the project until recently.  One day I envision my talk uploading pictures from a camera on an iPhone or iPad into SharePoint and telling people how I did it.  As you know with my Silverlight talk and any new technology, building new talks with new technologies always ends up with some pain points that you must jump over just to grab data.  So step 1 always starts out with how do we even access a webservice using the new technology. I started out watching every single SPC video available on oAuth and Rest Webservices in SharePoint 2013.  I also sent an email to Eric Shupps about some REST and 2013 examples.  The videos further confused me, because all the videos were on SharePoint hosted apps (provider and autohosted).  I did not want to create a SharePoint hosted app, but instead a mobile app outside of the SharePoint context altogether.  Nick Swan sent me his code and it was great for a starting point on how the JSON calls would look like on iOS, but I was still missing a piece.  Nick does a great job on showing how to use the REST/JSON calls in a non-MS tech, however his presentation uses the SharePoint context and can grab the SPAppToken.  At this point I had to ask the question how do you grab the SAML token outside of SharePoint 2013 in iOS using Objective-C?  After reading all the MSDN documentation, some documentation on Restkit and Objective-C/oAuth calls, and some SharePoint 2013 blog post my head was swimming.  I was dreaming about REST and iOS in SharePoint 2013.  SAML tokens were taunting me.  I was nowhere near understanding 2013. I started talking to my friend, Pedro Jimenez, who is also playing with Objective-C and went to SPC.  He found me a couple good MSDN posts with REST/JSON calls that basically showed the accessToken was all I needed (at this point I was still thinking iOS needed to be a provider hosted app which is wrong).  So then again I had to ask the SAML token question…How do you get a SAML token outside of SharePoint without the TokenHelper class? So then I started talking to people and thinking why do I need to completely avoid TokenHelper…The solution in concept is basically create a webservice in Azure wrapped into a Provider Hosted App in SharePoint.  Wictor Wilen created a helper webservice in the following blog post: http://www.wictorwilen.se/Post/How-to-do-active-authentication-to-Office-365-and-SharePoint-Online.aspx. So now I have to basically stand up the webservice, the SharePoint app wrapper, and then use Restkit to call the first webservice to grab the token and then the second webservice to pass in the token and grab some SharePoint data.  What this means is that you can no longer just pass credentials into SharePoint webservices and get data back.  You have to pass in a SAML token with every single webservice call to SharePoint.  The theory is that this token is associated with the permissions the app can handle (read, write, whatever).  It seems like a ton of pain and a lot of work, but this is step 1 in my crusade to pull some piece of data into iOS from SharePoint and show people how to do it themselves.  In the upcoming months hopefully I can get halfway to my end goal. • OEG11gR2 integration with OES11gR2 Authorization with condition

    - by pgoutin
    Introduction This OES use-case has been defined originally by Subbu Devulapalli (http://accessmanagement.wordpress.com/).  Based on this OES museum use-case, I have developed the OEG11gR2 policy able to deal with the OES authorization with condition. From an OEG point of view, the way to deal with OES condition is to provide with the OES request some Environmental / Context Attributes.   Museum Use-Case  All painting in the museum have security sensors, an alarm goes off when a person comes too close a painting. The employee designated for maintenance needs to use their ID and disable the alarm before maintenance. You are the Security Administrator for the museum and you have been tasked with creating authorization policies to manage authorization for different paintings. Your first task is to understand how paintings are organized. Asking around, you are surprised to see that there isno formal process in place, so you need to start from scratch. the museum tracks the following attributes for each painting 1. Name of the work 2. Painter 3. Condition (good/poor) 4. Cost You compile the list of paintings  Name of Painting  Painter  Paint Condition  Cost  Mona Lisa  Leonardo da Vinci  Good  100  Magi  Leonardo da Vinci  Poor  40  Starry Night  Vincent Van Gogh  Poor  75  Still Life  Vincent Van Gogh  Good  25 Being a software geek who doesn’t (yet) understand art, you feel that price(or insurance price) of a painting is the most important criteria. So you feel that based on years-of-experience employees can be tasked with maintaining different paintings. You decide that paintings worth over 50 cost should be only handled by employees with over 20 years of experience and employees with less than 10 years of experience should not handle any painting. Lets us start with policy modeling. All paintings have a common set of attributes and actions, so it will be good to have them under a single Resource Type. Based on this resource type we will create the actual resources. So our high level model is: 1) Resource Type: Painting which has action manage and the following four attributes a) Name of the work b) Painter c) Condition (good/poor) d) Cost 2) To keep things simple lets use painting name for Resource name (in real world you will try to use some identifier which is unique, because in future we may end up with more than one painting which has the same name.) 3) Create Resources based on the previous table 4) Create an identity attribute Experience (Integer) 5) Create the following authorization policies a) Allow employees with over 20 years experience to access all paintings b) Allow employees with 10 – 20 years of experience to access painting which cost less than 50 c) Deny access to all paintings for employees with less than 10 year of experience OES Authorization Configuration We do need to create 2 authorization policies with specific conditions a) Allow employees with over 20 years experience to access all paintings b) Allow employees with 10 – 20 years of experience to access painting which cost less than 50 c) Deny access to all paintings for employees with less than 10 year of experience We don’t need an explicit policy for Deny access to all paintings for employees with less than 10 year of experience, because Oracle Entitlements Server will automatically deny if there is no matching policy. OEG Policy The OEG policy looks like the following The 11g Authorization filter configuration is similar to :  The ${PAINTING_NAME} and ${USER_EXPERIENCE} variables are initialized by the "Retrieve from the HTTP header" filters for testing purpose. That's to say, under Service Explorer, we need to provide 2 attributes "Experience" & "Painting" following the OES 11g Authorization filter described above.

  • No OpenID endpoint found

    - by azamsharp
    I am trying to use the DotNetOpenId library to add OpenID support on a test website. For some reason it keeps giving me the following error when running on FireFix. Keep in mind that I am using localhost as I am testing it on my local machine. using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Linq; using System.Web; using System.Web.UI; using System.Web.UI.WebControls; using DotNetOpenAuth.OpenId.Extensions.ProviderAuthenticationPolicy; using DotNetOpenAuth.OpenId.Extensions.SimpleRegistration; using DotNetOpenAuth.OpenId.RelyingParty; namespace TableSorterDemo { public partial class Login : System.Web.UI.Page { protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { var openid = new OpenIdRelyingParty(); if (openid.GetResponse() != null) { switch (openid.GetResponse().Status) { case AuthenticationStatus.Authenticated: var fetch = openid.GetResponse().GetExtension(typeof(ClaimsResponse)) as ClaimsResponse; var nick = fetch.Nickname; var email = fetch.Email; break; } } } protected void OpenIdLogin1_LoggedIn(object sender, OpenIdEventArgs e) { var openid = new OpenIdRelyingParty(); if(openid.GetResponse() != null) { switch(openid.GetResponse().Status) { case AuthenticationStatus.Authenticated: var fetch = openid.GetResponse().GetExtension(typeof (ClaimsResponse)) as ClaimsResponse; var nick = fetch.Nickname; var email = fetch.Email; break; } } } protected void OpenIdLogin1_LoggingIn(object sender, OpenIdEventArgs e) { var openid = new OpenIdRelyingParty(); var req = openid.CreateRequest(OpenIdLogin1.Text); var fetch = new ClaimsRequest(); fetch.Email = DemandLevel.Require; fetch.Nickname = DemandLevel.Require; req.AddExtension(fetch); req.RedirectToProvider(); return; } } } Also, if I run the same page in Chrome then I get the following: Login failed: This message has already been processed. This could indicate a replay attack in progress.

  • beginning oop php question: do constructors take the place of getter?

    - by Joel
    I'm working through this tutorial: http://www.killerphp.com/tutorials/object-oriented-php/php-objects-page-3.php At first he has you create a setter and getter method in the class: <?php class person{ var $name; function set_name($new_name){ $this->name=$new_name; } function get_name(){ return $this->name; } } php?> And then you create the object and echo the results: <?php $stefan = new person(); $jimmy = new person(); $stefan ->set_name("Stefan Mischook"); $jimmy ->set_name("Nick Waddles"); echo "The first Object name is: ".$stefan->get_name(); echo "The second Object name is: ".$jimmy->get_name(); ?> Works as expected, and I understand. Then he introduces constructors: class person{ var $name; function __construct($persons_name) { $this->name = $persons_name; } function set_name($new_name){ $this->name=$new_name; } function get_name(){ return $this->name; } } And returns like so: <?php $joel = new person("Joel"); echo "The third Object name is: ".$joel->get_name(); ?> This is all fine and makes sense. Then I tried to combine the two and got an error, so I'm curious-is a constructor always taking the place of a "get" function? If you have a constructor, do you always need to include an argument when creating an object? Gives errors: <?php $stefan = new person(); $jimmy = new person(); $joel = new person("Joel Laviolette"); $stefan ->set_name("Stefan Mischook"); $jimmy ->set_name("Nick Waddles"); echo "The first Object name is: ".$stefan->get_name(); echo "The second Object name is: ".$jimmy->get_name(); echo "The third Object name is: ".$joel->get_name(); ?>

  • Excel VBA Userform Combobox problem

    - by Marc
    I'm having difficulties with a Combobox in a userform in an Excel document. The combobox either doesn't appear in the userform, or the combobox remains blank, and when I enter any character in it, the list of items appears, but 2 or 3 times, instead of just once. When I select an item, the chosen item doesn't appear in the box. It seems as if Excel^picks one at random, and whichever item I choose from the list, it's always the same one that ends up being displayed in the box. Can anyone help me on this one? Thanks a lot!!! This is the code I used: Private Sub ComboBox1_Change() Select Case ComboBox1.Text Case "Een nieuwe start" Case "Alles heeft zijn tijd" Case "De wereld aan je voeten" Case "Een levend boek" Case "Drempels" Case "Kerstmis" Case "Confituur of choco" Case "Hoe groot is de hemel?" Case "Ongelovige Thomas" Case "Feesten" Case "Er is er één jarig!" Case "Eén van hart" Case "Ervoor gaan" Case "Groen gras" Case "RELatie" Case "Vele plaatjes" Case "Iedereen fan" Case "Schattenjacht" Case "Lichtbakens" Case "Rijke Luis" Case "Hemel op aarde" Case "Op bezoek" Case Else End Select End Sub Private Sub UserForm1_Initialize() ComboBox1.Clear ComboBox1.AddItem "Een nieuwe start" ComboBox1.AddItem "Alles heeft zijn tijd" ComboBox1.AddItem "De wereld aan je voeten" ComboBox1.AddItem "Een levend boek" ComboBox1.AddItem "Drempels" ComboBox1.AddItem "Kerstmis" ComboBox1.AddItem "Confituur of choco" ComboBox1.AddItem "Hoe groot is de hemel?" ComboBox1.AddItem "Ongelovige Thomas" ComboBox1.AddItem "Feesten" ComboBox1.AddItem "Er is er één jarig!" • Another IE Issue with AJAX

    - by Nik
    Alright, This code works in every browser except IE (again, to be expected). The code is supposed to refresh based on setInterval, and does so normally in all other browsers except IE, which just doesn't refresh. Can you spot the problem? var nick = document.getElementById("chatnick").value; var sessid = document.getElementById("sessid").value; var room = document.getElementById("roomid").value; function user_read() { $.ajax({ type: "GET", url: "methods.php", data: {method: "u", room: room}, dataType: "html", success: function (data, status, xhr) { $("#userwindow").html(data); setTimeout(user_read, 10000); } }); } function ajax_read() { $.ajax({ type: "GET", url: "methods.php", data: {method: "r", room: room}, dataType: "html", success: function (data, status, xhr) { $("#chatwindow").html(data); setTimeout(ajax_read, 400); } }); } function submit_msg() { var msg = document.getElementById("chatmsg").value; $.ajax({ type: "GET", url: "methods.php", data: {method: "w", room: room, m: msg, n: nick, sessid: sessid}, dataType: "html", success: function (data, status, xhr) { } }); document.getElementById("chatmsg").value = ""; } function keyup(arg1) { if (arg1 == 13) submit_msg(); } setTimeout(function(){ajax_read();}, 400); user_read();

  • Eager loading OneToMany in Hibernate with JPA2

    - by pihentagy
    I have a simple @OneToMany between Person and Pet entities: @OneToMany(mappedBy="owner", cascade=CascadeType.ALL, fetch=FetchType.EAGER) public Set<Pet> getPets() { return pets; } I would like to load all Persons with associated Pets. So I came up with this (inside a test class): @RunWith(SpringJUnit4ClassRunner.class) @ContextConfiguration public class AppTest { @Test @Rollback(false) @Transactional(readOnly = false) public void testApp() { CriteriaBuilder qb = em.getCriteriaBuilder(); CriteriaQuery<Person> c = qb.createQuery(Person.class); Root<Person> p1 = c.from(Person.class); SetJoin<Person, Pet> join = p1.join(Person_.pets); TypedQuery<Person> q = em.createQuery(c); List<Person> persons = q.getResultList(); for (Person p : persons) { System.out.println(p.getName()); for (Pet pet : p.getPets()) { System.out.println("\t" + pet.getNick()); } } However, turning the SQL logging on shows, that it executes 3 queries (having 2 Persons in the DB). Hibernate: select person0_.id as id0_, person0_.name as name0_, person0_.sex as sex0_ from Person person0_ inner join Pet pets1_ on person0_.id=pets1_.owner_id Hibernate: select pets0_.owner_id as owner3_0_1_, pets0_.id as id1_, pets0_.id as id1_0_, pets0_.nick as nick1_0_, pets0_.owner_id as owner3_1_0_ from Pet pets0_ where pets0_.owner_id=? Hibernate: select pets0_.owner_id as owner3_0_1_, pets0_.id as id1_, pets0_.id as id1_0_, pets0_.nick as nick1_0_, pets0_.owner_id as owner3_1_0_ from Pet pets0_ where pets0_.owner_id=? Any tips? Thanks Gergo

  • Returning XML natively in a .NET (C#) webservice?

    - by James McMahon
    I realize that SOAP webservices in .NET return XML representation of whatever object the web method returns, but if I want to return data formatting in XML what is the best object to store it in? I am using the answer to this question to write my XML, here is the code: XmlWriter writer = XmlWriter.Create(pathToOutput); writer.WriteStartDocument(); writer.WriteStartElement("People"); writer.WriteStartElement("Person"); writer.WriteAttributeString("Name", "Nick"); writer.WriteEndElement(); writer.WriteStartElement("Person"); writer.WriteStartAttribute("Name"); writer.WriteValue("Nick"); writer.WriteEndAttribute(); writer.WriteEndElement(); writer.WriteEndElement(); writer.WriteEndDocument(); writer.Flush(); Now I can return this output as a String to my calling webmethod, but it shows up as <string> XML HERE </string>, is there anyway to just return the full xml? Please in your answer, give an example of how to use said object with either XmlWriter or another internal object (if you consider XmlWriter to be a poor choice). The System.Xml package (namespace) has many objects, but I haven't been able to uncover decent documentation on how to use the objects together, or what to use for what situations.

  • jQuery - Creating a dynamic content loader using $.get()

    - by Kenny Bones
    Hello everybody! (hello dr.Nick) :) So I posted a question yesterday about a content loader plugin for jQuery I thought I'd use, but didn't get it to work. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2469291/jquery-could-use-a-little-help-with-a-content-loader Although it works now, I see some disadvantages to it. It requires heaploads of files where the content is in. Since the code essentially picks up the url in the href link and searches that file for a div called #content What I would really like to do is to collect all of these files into a single file and give each div/container it's unique ID and just pick up the content from those. So i won't need so many separate files laying around. Nick Craver thought I should use $.get()instead since it's got a descent callback. But I'm not that strong in js at all.. And I don't even know what this means. I'm basically used to Visual Basic and passing of arguments, storing in txt files etc. Which is really not suitable for this purpose. So what's the "normal" way of doing things like this? I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's thought of this right? I basically want to get content from a single php file that contains alot of divs with unique IDs. And without much hassle, fade out the existing content in my main page, pick up the contents from the other file and fade it into my main page.

  • Trouble with StreamReader

    - by John
    Alright so here is what I have so far, List<string> lines = new List<string>(); using (StreamReader r = new StreamReader(f)) { string line; while ((line = r.ReadLine()) != null) { lines.Add(line); } } foreach (string s in lines) { NetworkStream stream = irc.GetStream(); writer.WriteLine(USER); writer.Flush(); writer.WriteLine("NICK " + NICK); writer.Flush(); writer.WriteLine("JOIN " + s); writer.Flush(); string trimmedString = string.Empty; CHANNEL = s; } Unfortunately when my IRC dummy enters a room with a password set it writes out the password, if I make it change channel with a command such as #lol test test being the password, since CHANNEL = s; it writes out the password with the command writer.WriteLine("PRIVMSG " + CHANNEL + " :" + "Hello"); That is the only way to write out to IRC so is there a way for the "CHANNEL" to only be the start of the text and just #lol so it doesn't write out the password? I hope you understand my problem.
