  I must be missing something. Help! My manifest contains: <manifest ...> <uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="4" android:targetSdkVersion="7" android:maxSdkVersion="10" /> <application ... I have all API packages installed (through 7 - Android 2.1). Whenever I try to run or debug my app in the emulator, reglardless of which version I start, I get the message in the subject line and I have to click on Cancel in order to continue. After that, the device chooser appears: and I can select a device and the app starts up fine in the Emulator. What do the red Xs mean next to the target? When my Nexus One is cradled, I do not get the warning that there is no compatible device. I can live with the extra click, but I am concerned that my up does not properly register the target API level and that this will cause problems once uploaded to the market.

• Mysterious dbboon folder with proxy.php file on my godaddy account

  When doing some web maintenance today, I noticed a strange new folder on my GoDaddy hosting account at the root level named "dbboon", with a single file inside, called proxy.php. It's code is listed below, and seems to be some sort of proxy function. I was kind of troubled because I didn't put it there. I googled all this to learn more, but didn't find anything, except for the proxy file happened to be also stored at pastebin.com: http://pastebin.com/PQsSPbCr I called GoDaddy and they confirmed that it belonged to them, said it was put there by their advanced hosting group for testing purposes but didn't have any more information. • Running MSBuild fails to read SDKToolsPath

  Howdy, I'm having a bit of an issue runnning a NAnt script that used to properly build my .Net 2.0 based website, when compiling with VS2008 and it's associated tools. I've recently upgraded all the project/solution files to VS2010, and now my build fails with the following error: [exec] C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Microsoft.Common.targets(2249,9): error MSB3086: Task could not find "sgen.exe" using the S dkToolsPath "" or the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A". Make sure the SdkToolsPath is set and the tool exists in the correct processor specific location under the SdkToolsPath and that the Microsoft Windows SDK is installed Now, I DO have prior versions (.Net 3.5) of the Windows SDK installed on the build server, and the full .Net 4.0 framework is installed, but I've not run across a .Net 4.0 specific version of the Windows SDK. After a bit of experimentation and research, I finally just setup a new environmental variable "SDKToolsPath" and pointed it to the copy of sgen.exe in my windows 6.0 sdk folder. This generated the same error, but it got me to notice that even though the SDKToolsPath environmental variable IS set (confirmed that I can "echo" it at the command line and it has the expected value), the error message seems to indicated that it's not being read (note the empty quotes). Most of the information I've found is .Net 3.5 (or earlier) specific. Not much 4.0 related out there yet. Searching for error code MSB3086 generated nothing useful either.   I have a certificate issued by a CA on our intranet (it's a V3 sha1 pfx file). When I use this in the signing part of my clickonce (vsto addin) project, I get the error: C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v9.0\OfficeTools\Microsoft.VisualStudio.Tools.Office.Office2007.targets(250,9): error MSB3482: An error occurred while signing: Invalid provider type specified.   I am using Ninject and ADO.Net Entity Framework in my Aps.Net (Mvc) website. I bind the ObjectContext to Ninject using the RequestScope: Bind<Entities>().ToSelf().InRequestScope().WithConstructorArgument("connectionString", _connectionString); In most cases this works perferct. But sometimes I got the following error: The ObjectContext instance has been disposed and can no longer be used for operations that require a connection. This error occurs at different positions while getting, updating, inserting or deleting data. In some cases this error occurs until I reset my webapp and sometimes it disappears after some requests. I am displeased that I have no more details. Because it seems that there is no pattern when and where this error occurs. Because the time and position is allways different :( Some hints or ideas?

  Hello I'm trying to get adaptive thresholding working in the python binding to opencv (the swig one - cannot get opencv 2.0 working as I am using a beagleboard as the cross compiling is not working yet). I have a greyscale image (ccg.jpg) and the following code import opencv from opencv import highgui img = highgui.cvLoadImage("ccg.png") img_bw = opencv.cvCreateImage(opencv.cvGetSize(img), opencv.IPL_DEPTH_8U, 1) opencv.cvAdaptiveThreshold(img, img_bw, 125, opencv.CV_ADAPTIVE_THRESH_MEAN_C, opencv.CV_THRESH_BINARY, 7, 10) When I run this I get the error: RuntimeError: openCV Error: Status=Formats of input arguments do not match function name=cvAdaptiveThreshold error messgae= file_name=cvadapthresh.cpp line=122 I've also tried having both the source and dest arguments both the same (greyscale) and I get the error 'Unsupported format or combination of formats'. Now when i try to open that project, it is showing error "This version of visual studio does not support source control" and " Unexpected error enocountered. Restart the application Error : no such interfaces are supported File : vsee\internal\vscomptr.inl". When i open solution explorer, all projects are showing as unavailable. I tried VS--Tools--options-- source control--plugin selection and set plug in to Microsoft "Visual source safe" and when i open "Environment" tab it is showing "an error occured while loading this property page" Can someone help me???

I have followed the steps in this guide, but it fails in the middle of Step 4 with SHOW MASTER STATUS; It simply returns an empty set. I get the same 3 errors in both servers' logs. • NSClient++: external script with optional arguments

  I am trying to define an external script which would take optional arguments in NSClient++ 0.4.1 on Windows. Following the nsclient-full.ini example code I have defined mycheck=cmd /C echo C:\mydir\myscript.ps1 %ARGS% | powershell.exe -command - which simply yields the string %ARGS% passed as the only argument to myscript.ps1, no matter what I specify in my call through NRPE (using Nagios' check_nrpe if that matters). I then tried to rewrite the definition to mycheck=cmd /C echo C:\mydir\myscript.ps1 $ARG1$ $ARG2$ | powershell.exe -command - (myscript.ps1 would take up to two arguments), which does help a bit. At least, if two arguments are provided, I can fetch them via the args[] array. The trouble starts when the call has less than two arguments - in this case the literal strings $ARG2 and $ARG1$ are passed through as arguments. Handling this case in the code of myscript.ps1 makes the whole argument processing routine ugly at best. Is there a sane way of defining optional parameters to an external script which would not pass NSClient's variable names if no parameter has been specified?

• STLport5.2.1 question in VC6.0

  hi all, today i install the STLPort5.2.1 to my VC6.0 and i test it out, it's okay in the console project, but it issue following question in the MFC project: Compiling... testMFCDlg.cpp d:\sw\vc6\vc98\stlport-5.2.1\stlport\errno.h(55) : fatal error C1189: #error : errno has been defined before inclusion of errno.h header. • iPhone: Can access files in documents directory in Simulator, but not device

  Hi there! I'm writing an app that copies some contents of the bundle into the applications Document's directory, mainly images and media. I then access this media throughout the app from the Document's directory. This works totally fine in the Simulator, but not on the device. The assets just come up as null. I've done NSLog's and the paths to the files look correct, and I've confirmed that the files exist in the directory by dumping a file listing in the console. Any ideas? Thank you! • Problem with redirecting *.domain.com & domain.com to www.domain.com for HTTPS

  We have a site I'll call acme.com. Most of the time you see http://www.acme.com and sometimes we redirect you to https://www.acme.com. We want to redirect anyone going to http://acme.com or http://*.acme.com to http://www.acme.com, and the same for https. (It's mainly to avoid the alert you get if you go to https://acme.com instead of https://www.acme.com) Our vhost file is at the end of the post. It works nicely except for one strange behavior: http://acme.com - successfully redirects to http://www.acme.com http://www.acme.com - successfully does not redirect http://foo.acme.com - successfully redirects to http://www.acme.com https://acme.com - successfully redirects to https://www.acme.com https://www.acme.com - successfully does not direct https://foo.acme.com - ERROR - redirects to http://www.acme.com It's this last result I can't fathom. I've tried a lot of trial and error solutions from Google & Stack Overflow but nothing seems to change it. Even if we swap the order of the configurations (so that 443 is before 80) it still redirects https://foo.acme.com to http://www.acme.com We are running Apache/2.2.12 on Ubuntu. But when I use the report in my VB.NET 2008 Project it says the following: Error in compiling SQL Expression : SQL Expressions can not be used in this report.. • Sending formatted Lotus Notes rich text email from Excel VBA

  I have little Lotus Script or Notes/Domino knowledge but I have a procedure, copied from somewhere a long time ago, that allows me to email through Notes from VBA. I normally only use this for internal notifications where the formatting hasn't really mattered. I now want to use this to send external emails to a client, and corporate types would rather the email complied with our style guide (a sans-serif typeface basically). I was about to tell them that the code only works with plain text, but then I noticed that the routine does reference some sort of CREATERICHTEXTITEM object. Does this mean I could apply some sort of formatting to the body text string after it has been passed to the mail routine? As well as upholding our precious brand values, this would be quite handy to me for highlighting certain passages in the email. I've had a dig about the 'net to see if this code could be adapted, but being unfamiliar with Notes' object model, and the fact that online Notes resources seem to mirror the application's own obtuseness, meant I didn't get very far.
