  • How do you make an image opened in colorbox scrollable

    I would like my images that I open in colorbox to be displayed fullsize with no resizing applied to them and then apply scrollbars to allow for viewing the larger images. Some of my images are quite tall and things get pixelated when resized down. Currently colorbox just resizes my images down to the size of the available height/width. Is there a way to make all images display fullsize with overflow scrollable in colorbox?   • Show only one validation error-message using replaceWith

    I am currently working with the jQuery validation plugin, and I want to show only one error-message before the form itself.   • jQuery AJAX requests with Rails 3

    I'm trying to do a manual jQuery AJAX request the following way: $("#user_plan_id").change(function() { $("#plan_container").load('/plans/' + this.value); }); I have the "rails.js" file included in my header, and a "<%= csrf_meta_tag %". I see from my log that the request IS getting to the server (although without the authenticity token... does rails.js even do this?), but the response is a 302 (Found) rather than 200, and no data actually gets rendered. Any ideas?

    Hi, Does anyone know a workaround for the bug https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/RF-8076 ? Just to clarify things, we have a form with multiple inputs, one of them being a combobox with auto complete features. We've setup a hotkey via <rich:hotKey key="return" ... /> It works great everywhere except in the combobox, and I would really like to get it working on the combobox as well. The behaviour I want when the ENTER key is pressed inside the combobox is: If the combobox context was modified by auto complete then do nothing Else action the event on ENTER key pressed We're running on seam/richfaces. I'm open to any workaround, but simplicity is much sought for. Thanks!

    I have this plunker where i have a button that opens a bootstrap modal dialog box. I the modal, when a course is selected(checked) from this list, it adds 3 to the $scope.planned and also increases the progress bar accordingly. Similarly it also reduces in the same way when a checkbox is unchecked. If present, they come in the table pre-checked. But the togglecheck() function does not work as they are supposed to with these checked details(they work in reverse). It always returns true(for var x in togglecheck) even after the splice function. Am i splicing the course correctly?

Preferably using the annotated timeline Google has (since it has a nice wrapper plugin for rails): http://code.google.com/apis/visualization/documentation/gallery/annotatedtimeline.html However, there doesn't seem to be a way to create a step chart using the annotated timeline or any other chart in the Google API. I'm looking to make a plot like this: If there is no way to do this with the google API, is there an alternative graphing library that can handle such a task?

    I am confused as to when I can use the DOM properties and when I could use the Jquery methods on a Jquery object. Say, I use a selector var $elemSel = $('#myDiv').find('[id *= \'select\']') At this point, $elemSel is a jquery object which I understand to be a wrapper around the array of DOM elements. I could get a reference to the DOM elements by iterating through the $elemSel object/array (Correct?) My questions: 1. Is there a way to convert this $elemSel into a non JQuery regular array of DOM elements? 2. Can I combine DOM properties and JQuery methods at the same time (something like this) $elemSel.children('td').nodeName (nodeName is DOM related, children is JQuery related) EDIT: What's wrong with this? $elemSel.get(0).is(':checked') EDIT 2: Thanks for the responses. I understand now that I can use the get(0) to get a DOM element. Additional questions: How would I convert a DOM element to a JQuery object? If I assign "this" to a variable, is that new var DOM or JQuery? If it's JQuery, how can I convert this to a DOM element? (Since I can't use get(0)) var $elemTd = $(this); When I do a assignment like the one above, I have seen some code samples not include the $ sign for the variable name. Why?   • jQuery - I'm getting unexpected outputs from a basic math formula.

    Hi I would like to start by saying I'd greatly appreciate anyones help on this. I have built a small caculator to calculate the amount a consumer can save annually on energy by installing a ground heat pump or solar panels. As far as I can tell the mathematical formulas are correct and my client verified this yesterday when I showed him the code. Two problems. The first is that the calculator is outputting ridiculously large numbers for the first result. The second problem is that the solar result is only working when there are no zeros in the fields. Are there some quirks as to how one would write mathematical formulas in JS or jQuery? Any help greatly appreciated.   • Chrome Extension contenteditable get and set caret position

    I am creating an extension where I need to insert a link into the gmail window. I am able to create a simple extension button in the top of the window and execute code that does replaces all the links. Now, I want to do add links in the contenteditable section as I type. It seems like there should be a simple way to replace text with a link in the document object model. If this is not true I need to do three things. Insert text from the current caret position Capture the caret position. Set the caret position by its offset. I have tried using window.getSelection within the gmail context(that is a body element that is set to contenteditable and embedded inside an iframe in the gmail tab) to get the current range and position. The selection is always empty and contains no ranges regardless of whether text is selected or not.
