  • converting to Fluent NHibernate sessionmanager

    - by czuroski
Hello, I am changing my application to use Fluent NHibernate. I have created my Fluent mapping files and have now moved onto configuring my Session Manager. Currently, I use the following code - private ISessionFactory GetSessionFactory() { return (new Configuration()).Configure().BuildSessionFactory(); } Along with my hibernate.cfg.xml - <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <hibernate-configuration xmlns="urn:nhibernate-configuration-2.2" > <session-factory> <property name="connection.provider">NHibernate.Connection.DriverConnectionProvider</property> <property name="dialect">NHibernate.Dialect.InformixDialect1000</property> <property name="connection.driver_class">NHibernate.Driver.OleDbDriver</property> <property name="connection.connection_string">Provider=Ifxoledbc.2;Password=mypass;Persist Security Info=True;User ID=myid;Data Source=mysource</property> <property name="proxyfactory.factory_class">NHibernate.ByteCode.Castle.ProxyFactoryFactory, NHibernate.ByteCode.Castle</property> <property name="show_sql">false</property> <mapping assembly="DataTransfer" /> </session-factory> </hibernate-configuration> Does anyone know how I could transfer this to Fluent? The problem I have having is with the Database portion of the configuration. Thanks for any thoughts.

  • android error NoSuchElementException

    - by Alexander
    I have returned a cursor string but it contains a delimiter. The delimiter is . I have the string quest.setText(String.valueOf(c.getString(1)));I want to turn the into a new line. What is the best method to achieve this task in android. I understand there is a way to get the delimeter. I want this to achieved for each record. I can itterate through record like so. Cursor c = db.getContact(2); I tried using a string tokenizer but it doesnt seem to work. Here is the code for the tokenizer. I tested it in just plain java and it works without errors. String question = c.getString(1); // quest.setText(String.valueOf(c.getString(1))); //quest.setText(String.valueOf(question)); StringTokenizer st = new StringTokenizer(question,"<ENTER>"); //DisplayContact(c); // StringTokenizer st = new StringTokenizer(question, "=<ENTER>"); while(st.hasMoreTokens()) { String key = st.nextToken(); String val = st.nextToken(); System.out.println(key + "\n" + val); } I then tried running it in android. Here is the error log 06-06 22:31:55.251: E/AndroidRuntime(537): FATAL EXCEPTION: main 06-06 22:31:55.251: E/AndroidRuntime(537): java.util.NoSuchElementException 06-06 22:31:55.251: E/AndroidRuntime(537): at java.util.StringTokenizer.nextToken(StringTokenizer.java:208) 06-06 22:31:55.251: E/AndroidRuntime(537): at alex.android.test.database.quiz.TestdatabasequizActivity$1.onClick(TestdatabasequizActivity.java:95) 06-06 22:31:55.251: E/AndroidRuntime(537): at android.view.View.performClick(View.java:3511) 06-06 22:31:55.251: E/AndroidRuntime(537): at android.view.View$PerformClick.run(View.java:14105) 06-06 22:31:55.251: E/AndroidRuntime(537): at android.os.Handler.handleCallback(Handler.java:605) 06-06 22:31:55.251: E/AndroidRuntime(537): at android.os.Handler.dispatchMessage(Handler.java:92) 06-06 22:31:55.251: E/AndroidRuntime(537): at android.os.Looper.loop(Looper.java:137) 06-06 22:31:55.251: E/AndroidRuntime(537): at android.app.ActivityThread.main(ActivityThread.java:4424) 06-06 22:31:55.251: E/AndroidRuntime(537): at java.lang.reflect.Method.invokeNative(Native Method) 06-06 22:31:55.251: E/AndroidRuntime(537): at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:511) 06-06 22:31:55.251: E/AndroidRuntime(537): at com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit$MethodAndArgsCaller.run(ZygoteInit.java:784) 06-06 22:31:55.251: E/AndroidRuntime(537): at com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit.main(ZygoteInit.java:551) 06-06 22:31:55.251: E/AndroidRuntime(537): at dalvik.system.NativeStart.main(Native Method) This is the database query public Cursor getContact(long rowId) throws SQLException { Cursor mCursor = db.query(true, DATABASE_TABLE, new String[] {KEY_ROWID, question, possibleAnsOne,possibleAnsTwo, possibleAnsThree,realQuestion,UR}, KEY_ROWID + "=" + rowId, null, null, null, null, null); if (mCursor != null) { mCursor.moveToFirst(); }

  • Question regarding MySQL indices and their functionality

    - by user281434
Hi Say I have an ordinary table in my db like so ---------------------------- | id | username | password | ---------------------------- | 24 | blah | blah | ---------------------------- A primary key is assigned to the id column. Now when I run a Mysql query like this: SELECT id FROM table WHERE username = 'blah' LIMIT 1 Does that primary key index even help? If I am telling it to match usernames, then shouldn't the username column be indexed instead? Thanks for your time

  • Looking for a wsdl-based scaffolding framework.

    - by daniel.balla
I am looking for a wsdl scaffolding framework, or even better if it was a POCO scaffolding framework. I need something like Dynamic Data, but running on wsdl metadata instead of db. I am currently using office infopath which generates decent forms based on wsdl, but I would like to have it in my app, and generated at runtime. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

  • mapping Field with variable type using Hibernate Annotaion

    - by Zahra
Hi. how can I have a field with variable type in my class? I use hibernate annotation for mapping to DB. I tried to use java.io.Serializable as field's type, but it mapped to database as a 01 amount which is true if I get it's object and cast it to it's true type. but I need to run a query on this objects that needs true amount of field.(right now I can't compare an integer field with a number) Does anyone have any idea how can I do this? Thanks in advance.

  • structDelete doesn't affect the shallow copy?

    - by Travis
I was playing around onError so I tried to create an error using a large xml document object. <cfset XMLByRef = variables.parsedXML.XMLRootElement.XMLChildElement> <cfset structDelete(variables.parsedXML, "XMLRootElement")> <cfset startXMLShortLoop = getTickCount()> <cfloop from = "1" to = "#arrayLen(variables.XMLByRef)#" index = "variables.i"> <cfoutput>#variables.XMLByRef[variables.i].id.xmltext#</cfoutput><br /> </cfloop> <cfset stopXMLShortLoop = getTickCount()> I expected to get an error because I deleted the structure I was referencing. From LiveDocs: Variable Assignment - Creates an additional reference, or alias, to the structure. Any change to the data using one variable name changes the structure that you access using the other variable name. This technique is useful when you want to add a local variable to another scope or otherwise change a variable's scope without deleting the variable from the original scope. instead I got 580df1de-3362-ca9b-b287-47795b6cdc17 25a00498-0f68-6f04-a981-56853c0844ed ... ... ... db49ed8a-0ba6-8644-124a-6d6ebda3aa52 57e57e28-e044-6119-afe2-aebffb549342 Looped 12805 times in 297 milliseconds <cfdump var = "#variables#"> Shows there's nothing in the structure, just parsedXML.xmlRoot.xmlName with the value of XMLRootElement. I also tried <cfset structDelete(variables.parsedXML.XMLRootElement, "XMLChildElement")> as well as structClear for both. More information on deleting from the xml document object. http://help.adobe.com/en_US/ColdFusion/9.0/Developing/WSc3ff6d0ea77859461172e0811cbec22c24-78e3.html Can someone please explain my faulty logic? • programmatically updating iTunes track location

    - by Ben Clifford
I would like to modify the filesystem path for tracks on itunes programmatically, so that I can apply a string transformation to some of the tracks locations (which are now stored in a different places on the filesystem). I've tried using AppleScript to update the location property of the relevant tracks but I get an end-of-file error when calling "set mytrack's location to ..." I've seen various other hacks online that involve exporting the entire track db, modifying it in XML, and then reimporting it - but that seems to lose too much metadata (such as playlists).

  • xsl transform: problem with Ampersand URL parameters

    - by Rac123
I'm having issues with transforming XSL with parameters in a URL. I'm at a point that I can't change the C# code anymore, only can make changes to xsl file. C# code: string xml = "<APPLDATA><APPID>1052391</APPID></APPLDATA>"; XmlDocument oXml = new XmlDocument(); oXml.LoadXml(xml); XslTransform oXslTransform = new XslTransform(); oXslTransform.Load(@"C:\Projects\Win\ConsoleApps\XslTransformTest\S15033.xsl"); StringWriter oOutput = new StringWriter(); oXslTransform.Transform(oXml, null, oOutput) XSL Code: <body> <xsl:variable name="app"> <xsl:value-of select="normalize-space(APPLDATA/APPID)" /> </xsl:variable> <div id="homeImage" > <xsl:attribute name="style"> background-image:url("https://server/image.gif?a=10&amp;Id='<xsl:value-of disable-output-escaping="yes" select="$app" />'") </xsl:attribute> </div> </body> </html> URL transformed: https://server/image.gif?a=10&Id='1052391' URL Expected: https://server/image.gif?a=10&Id='1052391' How do I fix this? The output (oOutput.ToString()) is being used in an email template so it's taking the URL transformed literally. When you click on this request (with the correct server name of course), the 403 (Access forbidden) error is being thrown.

  • Is the REST support in Spring 3's MVC Framework production quality yet?

    - by glenjohnson
Hi all, Since Spring 3 was released in December last year, I have been trying out the new REST features in the MVC framework for a small commercial project involving implementing a few RESTful Web Services which consume XML and return XML views using JiBX. I plan to use either Hibernate or JDBC Templates for the data persistence. As a Spring 2.0 developer, I have found Spring 3's (and 2.5's) new annotations way of doing things quite a paradigm shift and have personally found some of the new MVC annotation features difficult to get up to speed with for non-trivial applications - as such, I am often having to dig for information in forums and blogs that is not apparent from going through the reference guide or from the various Spring 3 REST examples on the web. For deadline-driven production quality and mission critical applications implementing a RESTful architecture, should I be holding off from Spring 3 and rather be using mature JSR 311 (JAX-RS) compliant frameworks like RESTlet or Jersey for the REST layer of my code (together with Spring 2 / 2.5 to tie things together)? I had no problems using RESTlet 1.x in a previous project and it was quite easy to get up to speed with (no magic tricks behind the scenes), but when starting my current project it initially looked like the new REST stuff in Spring 3's MVC Framework would make life easier. Do any of you out there have any advice to give on this? Does anyone know of any commercial / production-quality projects using, or having successfully delivered with, the new REST stuff in Spring 3's MVC Framework. Many thanks Glen

  • Android: Why my user Interface does not get drawn when I Inflate the resource layout file?

    - by Einiosaurus
    First of all, I'm a newbie on Android programming, so please be detailed in your answers. I have a layout main.xml file with format similar to <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <LinearLayout xmlns:android = "http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:orientation = "vertical" android:layout_width = "fill_parent" android:layout_height = "fill_parent"> <LinearLayout xmlns:android = "http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:orientation = "horizontal"   android:layout_width = "fill_parent" android:layout_height = "fill_parent"> <EditText android:id="@+id/a" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content" /> <TextView android:id="@+id/xSquared" android:layout_width = "fill_parent" android:layout_height = "wrap_content" android:text = "@string/equationPart1" /> </LinearLayout> <LinearLayout ... </LinearLayout> </LinearLayout> In my Java source file, I inflate the UI using command: setContentView(R.layout.main); public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.main); } However, when I run the emulator, the UI does not show up like what I expect. Instead, it just display a simple EditText text box. I wonder what is going wrong. Is it because I put a layout inside another layout? I don't think there is any problem with that right?

  • DataSet v/s Database

    - by Hemanshu Bhojak
While designing applications it is a very good practice to have all the business logic in one place. So why then we sometimes have the business logic in stored procs? Can we fetch all data from the DB and store it in a DataSet and then process it? What would be the performance of the app in this scenario?

  • What is the most efficient procedure for implementing a sortable ajax list on the backend?

    - by HenryL
The most common method is to assign a sequential order field for each item in the list and do an update that maintains the sequence with every ajax sort operation. Unfortunately, this requires an update to each item of the list every time someone sorts. This is fine for small lists, but what's the best way to implement sorting for larger lists that are constantly updated? I am looking for something that minimizes DB IO.

  • MVC Entity Framework Model not returning correct data

    - by quagland
Hi, Run into a strange problem while writing an ASP.NET MVC site. I have a view in my SQL Server database that returns a few date ranges. The view works fine when running the query in SSMS. When the view data is returned by the Entity Framework Model, It returns the correct number of rows but some of the rows are duplicated. Here is an example of what I have done: SQL Server code: CREATE TABLE [dbo].[A]( [ID] [int] NOT NULL, [PhID] [int] NULL, [FromDate] [datetime] NULL, [ToDate] [datetime] NULL, CONSTRAINT [PK_A] PRIMARY KEY CLUSTERED ([ID] ASC)) ON [PRIMARY] go CREATE TABLE [dbo].[B]( [PhID] [int] NOT NULL, [FromDate] [datetime] NULL, [ToDate] [datetime] NULL, CONSTRAINT [PK_B] PRIMARY KEY CLUSTERED ( [PhID] ASC )) ON [PRIMARY] go CREATE VIEW C as SELECT A.ID, CASE WHEN A.PhID IS NULL THEN A.FromDate ELSE B.FromDate END AS FromDate, CASE WHEN A.PhID IS NULL THEN A.ToDate ELSE B.ToDate END AS ToDate FROM A LEFT OUTER JOIN B ON A.PhID = B.PhID go INSERT INTO B (PhID, FromDate, ToDate) VALUES (100, '20100615', '20100715') INSERT INTO A (ID, PhID, FromDate, ToDate) VALUES (1, NULL, '20100101', '20100201') INSERT INTO A (ID, PhID, FromDate, ToDate) VALUES (1, 100, '20100615', '20100715') INSERT INTO B (PhID, FromDate, ToDate) VALUES (101, '20101201', '20101231') INSERT INTO A (ID, PhID, FromDate, ToDate) VALUES (2, NULL, '20100801', '20100901') INSERT INTO A (ID, PhID, FromDate, ToDate) VALUES (2, 101, '20101201', '20101231') So now, if you select all from C, you get 4 separate date ranges In the Entity Framework Model (which I call 'Core'), the view 'C' is added. in MVC Controller: public class HomeController : Controller { public ActionResult Index() { CoreEntities db = new CoreEntities(); var clist = from c in db.C select c; return View(clist.ToList()); } } in MVC View: @model List<RM.Models.C> @{ foreach (RM.Models.C c in Model) { @String.Format("{0:dd-MMM-yyyy}", c.FromDate) <span>-</span> @String.Format("{0:dd-MMM-yyyy}", c.ToDate) <br /> } } When I run all this, it outputs this: 01-Jan-2010 - 01-Feb-2010 01-Jan-2010 - 01-Feb-2010 01-Aug-2010 - 01-Sep-2010 01-Aug-2010 - 01-Sep-2010 When it should do this (this is what the view returns): 01-Jan-2010 - 01-Feb-2010 15-Jun-2010 - 15-Jul-2010 01-Aug-2010 - 01-Sep-2010 01-Dec-2010 - 31-Dec-2010 Also, I've run the SQL profiler over it and according to that, the query being executed is: SELECT [Extent1].[ID] AS [ID], [Extent1].[FromDate] AS [FromDate], [Extent1].[ToDate] AS [ToDate] FROM (SELECT [C].[ID] AS [ID], [C].[FromDate] AS [FromDate], [C].[ToDate] AS [ToDate] FROM [dbo].[C] AS [C]) AS [Extent1] Which returns the correct data So it seems that the entity framework is doing something to the data in the meantime. To me, everything looks fine! Have I missed something? Cheers, Ben

  • Why would certain browsers request all pages on my ASP.Net Web site twice?

    - by Deane
Firefox is issuing duplicate requests to my ASP.Net web site. It will request a page, get the response, then immediately issue the same request again (well, almost the same -- see below). This happens on every page of this particular Web site (but not any others). IE does not do this, but Chrome also does this. I have confirmed that there is no Location header in the response, and no Javascript or meta tag in the page which would cause the page to be re-requested (if any of these were true, IE would be re-requesting pages as well). I have confirmed this behavior on multiple Firefox installs on multiple machines. Versions vary, but all are 3.x. The only difference between the two requests is the Accepts header. For the first request, it looks like this: Accept: text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,*/*;q=0.8 For the second request, it looks like this: Accept: */* The Content-Type response header in all cases is: Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Something else odd -- even though Firefox requests the page twice, it uses the first response and discards the second. I put a counter on a page that increments with every request. I can watch the responses come back (via the Charles proxy). Firefox will get a "1" the first time, and a "2" the second time. Yet it will display the "1," for some reason. Chrome exhibits this exact same behavior. I suspect it's a protocol-level issue, given the difference in Accepts header, but I've never seen this before.

  • Inserting javascript with jQuery .html

    - by Andrew Appleby
    I'm experiencing an issue with a website I'm working on, where I originally believed I could simply replace $("main").html('THIS') which was originally code for a flash object, with a new and improved HTML5/Javascript version. The original code: $("#main").html('<div style="height: 100%; width: 100%; overflow: hidden;"><object width="100%" height="100%" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=8,0,0,0" classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000">\ <param value="images/uploads/'+image_id+'.swf" name="movie">\ <param value="true" name="allowFullScreen">\ <param value="#737373" name="bgcolor">\ <param value="" name="FlashVars">\ <embed width="100%" height="100%" flashvars="" bgcolor="#737373" allowfullscreen="true" src="images/uploads/'+image_id+'.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer">\ </object></div>\ '); }); And my (failed) attempt at inserting my new code: $("#main").html('<script type="text/javascript">pano=new pano2vrPlayer("container");skin=new pano2vrSkin(pano);pano.readConfigUrl("xml/tablet_'+image_id+'.xml");hideUrlBar();</script>'); It doesn't even work when I just put , so I know it's gotta be the javascript itself. I've looked at the solutions out there, but I can't make sense in how to properly implement them here in the most efficient way. Your help is much appreciated, thanks!

  • XSL - How to match consecutive comma-separated tags

    - by PocketLogic
I'm trying to match a series of xml tags that are comma separated, and to then apply an xslt transformation on the whole group of nodes plus text. For example, given the following partial XML: <p>Some text here <xref id="1">1</xref>, <xref id="2">2</xref>, <xref id="3">3</xref>. </p> I would like to end up with: <p>Some text here <sup>1,2,3</sup>.</p> A much messier alternate would also be acceptable at this point: <p>Some text here <sup>1</sup><sup>,</sup><sup>2</sup><sup>,</sup><sup>3</sup>.</p> I have the transformation to go from a single xref to a sup: <xsl:template match="xref""> <sup><xsl:apply-templates/></sup> </xsl:template> But I'm at a loss as to how to match a group of nodes separated by commas. Thanks.
