  • CSS Collapsing/Hiding divs with no data in <span>

    I am trying to display an address which includes the following information: Title, division, address1, address2, town/state/zip, and country (5 seperate lines worth of data). The problem is sometimes the company may only have the title, address1, and town/state/zip yet other times it may be all but address2. This is determined upon a db record request server side. Therefore how can I make my output look proper when some of my labels will be blank? I would like div's that contain an empty span to be essentially collapsed/removed. My only idea of how was to use jquery and a selector to find all divs with blank spans (since thats all an asp.net label really is) and then remove those divs however this seems like such bad form. Is there any way to do this with css?   • Image Steganography

    Hi, I'm working on Steganography application. I need to hide a message inside an image file and secure it with a password, with not much difference in the file size. I am using Least Significant Bit algorithm and could do it successfully with BMP files but it does not work with JPEG, PNG or TIFF files. Does this algorithm work with these files at all? Is there a better way to achieve this? Thanks.

  • Downloading file with Python results in only 4.1kB

    I'm using simple code: import urllib2 response = urllib2.urlopen("http://www.mysite.com/getfile/4355") output = open('myfile.zip','wb') output.write(response.read()) output.close() The web-server is IIS + ASP.NET MVC 4 It returns FileResult wrapping a zip-file with "application/octet-stream" content-type. The problem is that downloaded zip file is broken - only 4.1kB size, where it must be 24kB. When I type the url adress in web-browser directly - it downloads and opens fine. Could you please, suggest, what's wrong with my Python code?

    Hello all! I have an application consisting of two windows, one communicates to the other and sends it a struct constaining two integers (In this case two rolls of a dice). I will be using events for the following circumstances: Process a sends data to process b, process b displays data Process a closes, in turn closing process b Process b closes a, in turn closing process a I have noticed that if the second process is constantly waiting for the first process to send data then the program will be just sat waiting, which is where the idea of implementing threads on each process occurred and I have started to implement this already. The problem i'm having is that I don't exactly have a lot of experience with threads and events so I'm not sure of the best way to actually implement what I want to do.     I have JPanel wrapped in JScrollPane and I want the rectangle to be drawn always on the same position = moving with scrollbars wont affect the visibility of the rectangle. I tried following code: public void paintComponent(Graphics g) { g.setColor(Color.red); g.drawRect(50, (int)getVisibleRect().getY(), 20 , 20); } but it only repaints the rectangle when size of whole JPanel is changed.

  • How to get right values from Views touch event

    I have a problem with implementing touch events on GLSurfaceView. Views size is 1280x696, because of android (tablet) status bar at bottom with soft keys, time etc.., (screen resolution is 1280x800), but OnTouchListener is receiving touch events with coords [646.0,739.0], and thus my gluunproject method fails to return correct values is there any way to return events that respect these boundaries? or how should I recalculate the position?
