  Ey guys, I have been searching for some sample code on how to store an NSArray in Core Data for awhile now, but haven't had any luck. Would anyone mind pointing me to some tutorial or example, or better yet write a simple sample as an answer to this question? Once I read an MSDN article that encouraged the following programming paradigm: public class MyClass { public void Method1() { NewCustomException(); } public void Method2() { NewCustomException(); } void NewCustomException() { throw new CustomException("Exception message"); } } Do you think this paradigm makes sense? Wouldn't it be enough to store the exception message in a static const field and then pass it to the exception's constructor, instead of encapsulating the whole exception throw?

  I read that PLinq will automatically use non parallel Linq if it finds PLinq to be more expensive. So I figured then why not use PLinq for everything (when possible) and let the runtime decide which one to use. The apps will be deployed to multicore servers and I am OK to develop a little more code to deal with parallelism. What are the pitfalls of using plinq as a default?

  Apparently, after upgrading to Rails 2.3 my session storage has stopped working. I used to have this: session :session_expires = 3.years.from_now in my application_controller.rb, but now every time i close the browser (chrome) the session expires. I read from somewhere that session_expires would have changed to expire_after, but session :expire_after = 3.years.from_now didn't do any good eihter.

  I got script what read from database and manipulate it so on the end I got $result array... on one server is it possible to serialize this object and pass it to other script so this $result array could be available for other script on second server... I got on first server: return serialize ( $results ); and on second: $data = unserialize ( file_get_contents ( 'http://www.......com/reader.php' ) ); ...but there is no communication between .... Obviously I could do a load test and vary the values, but I couldn't find any kind of documentation on this. Most samples have a minute, a couple of minutes. There's no recommended range.
