  which open source business intelligence solution would you recommend? All I need is to build some cubes and let the end user play with dimensions, filter data, sort, etc, and once it's done being able to export it to excel... I'd like the solution to be as simple and easy on resources as possible, and also I'd like it to be as much open source as possible, by the way. I've heard that many solutions available do have many restrictions when it comes to there community version.   As the name suggests this is a continuation (sort of) of http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2784679/manually-writing-the-html-in-twebbrowser This time around I'm trying to add some auto-refresh logic to the HTML I get. I have pieced together an approach from several sources (see below). In short, I am trying to locate the title node and add a meta node after it (in the HTML head node). But, I get an access violation. • Any suggestions for good automated web load testing tool?

  What are some good automated tools for load testing (stress testing) web applications, that do not use record and replay of HTTP network packets? I am aware that there are numerous load testing tools on the market that record and replay HTTP network packets. But these are unsuitable for my purpose, because of this: The HTTP packet format changes very often in our application (e.g. when we optimize an AJAX call). We do not want to adapt all test scripts just because there is a slight change in HTTP packet format. Our test team shall not need to know any internals about our application to write their test scripts. A tool that replays HTTP packets, however, requires the team to know the format of HTTP requests and responses, such that they can adapt details of the replayed HTTP packets (e.g. user name). The automated load testing tool I am looking for should be able to let the test team write "black box" test scripts such as: Invoke web page at URL http://... . First, enter XXX into text field XXX. Then, press button XXX. Wait until response has been received from web server. Verify that text field XXX now contains the text XXX. The tool should be able to simulate up to several 1000 users, and it should be compatible with web applications using ASP.NET and AJAX.

  Hi, I making a game leaderboard on facebook. I'm not using connect but working inside the canvas. When I try to load the images from facebook it gives me the following error. SecurityError: Error #2122: Security sandbox violation: Loader.content: http://test cannot access http://profile.ak.fbcdn.net/v22941/254/15/q652310588_2173.jpg A policy file is required, but the checkPolicyFile flag was not set when this media was loaded.   I am using apache commons 3.1 to implement httpClient with proxy support. I am trying to connect to a remote host through proxy. The proxy server is configured without any authentication, however the the remote host is configured with authentication. When I am passing the proxy parameters through properties file, it gives warning while execution: WARN - Required proxy credentials not available for BASIC @xx.xx.xx.xx WARN - Preemptive authentication requested but no default proxy credentials availble But the execution goes ahead. On the other hand when I am passing the proxy parameters through the JVM arguments then the again the same warning is given and the execution is stopped. Is there any specific reason for this behavior? Is there any difference in passing the proxy parameters through properties file and through JVM arg?   I have a map in BizTalk 2009 that is converting some data into an XML document to be sent on to another system. The target schema includes some elements with xml:lang attributes. BizTalk generates those as ns1:lang. The target system requires that the prefix xml be used. • Singleton code linker errors in vc 9.0. Runs fine in linux compiled with gcc

  I have a simple logger that is implemented as a singleton. It works like i want when I compile and run it with g++ in linux but when I compile in Visual Studio 9.0 with vc++ I get the following errors. Is there a way to fix this? • Glassfish, railo and coldbox - messed up links?

  I am new to ColdFusion and ColdBox (and programming). I tried to setup ColdBox but some of the links in the sample applications are broken. My configuration is a GlassFish v3 installation with the current Railo OSS. I access my site through Apache 2.2.14. So instead of http://127.0.0.1:8080/railo/ I access my environment trough http://railo/. In Railo I have a webroot mapping / to C:/webapps/myproject/. I have copied the current ColdBox 3M4 to C:/webapps/myproject/coldbox. I can access the dashboard through http://railo/coldbox/dashboard/index.cfm and have access to all options. My problems start the moment I try to open the sample gallery: HTTP Status 500 - type Exception report message description The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request. exception java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\webapps\viss-dev\coldbox\samples (Zugriff verweigert) note The full stack traces of the exception and its root causes are available in the GlassFish v3 logs. GlassFish v3 OK, no problem, just enter the link directly: http://railo/coldbox/samples/index.cfm. The site looks plain, who cares - BUT all local links look like this: http://127.0.0.1:8080/coldbox/samples/applications/helloworld/index.cfm (railo is replaced with 127.0.0.1:8080). Looks like trouble. To make my confusion perfect: when I try to access the login app: http://railo/coldbox/samples/applications/sampleloginapp/index.cfm and hit the submit button, I am redirected to this address: http://railo/railo/coldbox/samples/applications/sampleloginapp/index.cfm. I believe that this is not really ColdBox-related, but it manifests itself when I try to use ColdBox, so here I am. P.S.: amazon.de takes too long to ship the ColdBox book :(

• Update to Easy Slider 1.7 made all my JQuery code stop working.

  I'm pretty novice as a JQuery user goes. I've got some experience implementing different plugins but would be lost trying to customize my own. I can't share the exact site details with you due to a NDA, so I hope someone can give me a little help. I've got a project due today (Just HTML/CSS/JQuery). It has a lightbox, show/hide login menu and a slider is Easy Slider 1.5. Everything was working together, until I attempted to update to Easy Slider 1.7 (see link on same page, I'm too new to post more than 1 link). When I did so, JQuery stopped working for all the plugins. I've attempted to revert back to the original state, by undoing my work (didn't do much), ad JQuery remains broken. Firebug Error Console shared no errors. I can't find anything in the code no matter how hard I look at it. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this JQuery problem? Delivery is supposed to be tonight for the project.   I wanna fix a 2D board for a game. I've already fixed other panels for the Gui and everything goes well. But the panel for the board cant be printed on the window. I'm a bit confused about it as i think i've followed the same ideas as for the others panels i need. EDIT: code updated. just found a part of the problem. i thought first that i had set background to squared, but i didnt. with this one it appears on the panel a wide black "column". • Clean up domain list in Excel - regex / macros?

  I have a huge spreadsheet of domains that I need to clean up as follows: Remove all http:// (simple replace all - "http://" with "") Remove any www. (simple replace all - "www." with "") Delete any sub-domains (delete the actual row completely, not just the subdomain from the url) Remove anything after the domain extension (i.e. website.com/blah/blahbah/ becomes just website.com (simple replace all - "/*" with "", then replace all "/" with "") So what I'm left with is just a spreadsheet of clean domains like "website.com". I think I've got 1, 2 and 4 sorted (as above), but I'm really struggling with 3. Any ideas? Can I do this with regexp / vba, and actually delete the row completely?   When I log in with one browser session, I have to log in, but when I open another session it has automatically logged me in (as if I've picked up session 1), this does not happen if I use http://192.168.0.9:9070 It forces me to log in each time. So far, the answer seems to be No. This question is broader: do you have any horror stories about gcc and strict-aliasing? I'm guessing it might have to do with all the stuff I've added today a folder of .pdf and .tex files (in war/web-inf directory) a bit of JDO stuff and a servlet that reads the files in the directory and indexes them into the JDO Is there any way to find out what exactly is the problem?
