    Ive gotten some great help here and I am so close to solving my problem that I can taste it. But I seem to be stuck. I need to scrape a simple form from a local webserver and only return the lines that match a users local email (i.e. onemyndseye@localhost). simplehtmldom makes easy work of extracting the correct form element: foreach($html->find('form[action*="delete"]') as $form) echo $form; Returns: <form action="/delete" method="post"> <input type="checkbox" id="D1" name="D1" /><a href="http://www.linux.com/rss/feeds.php"> http://www.linux.com/rss/feeds.php </a> [email: onemyndseye@localhost (Default) ]<br /> <input type="checkbox" id="D2" name="D2" /><a href="http://www.ubuntu.com/rss.xml"> http://www.ubuntu.com/rss.xml </a> [email: onemyndseye@localhost (Default) ]<br /> However I am having trouble making the next step.   • Selenium: Can i test if a page loaded a flash app (ie a swf) properly?

    hi all. I'm writing some selenium tests (in rspec for a rails app). One of my pages loads a swf and while i don't want to test the functionality of this flash app i do want to test that it loaded up ok. Is this possible?   • How do I use .htaccess to redirect to a URL containing HTTP_HOST?

    Problem I need to redirect some short convenience URLs to longer actual URLs. The site in question uses a set of subdomains to identify a set of development or live versions. I would like the URL to which certain requests are redirected to include the HTTP_HOST such that I don't have to create a custom .htaccess file for each host. Host-specific Example (snipped from .htaccess file) Redirect /terms http://support.dev01.example.com/articles/terms/ This example works fine for the development version running at dev01.example.com. If I use the same line in the main .htaccess file for the development version running under dev02.example.com I'd end up being redirected to the wrong place. Ideal rule (not sure of the correct syntax) Redirect /terms http://support.{HTTP_HOST}/articles/terms/ This rule does not work and merely serves as an example of what I'd like to achieve. I could then use the exact same rule under many different hosts and get the correct result. Answers? Can this be done with mod_alias or does it require the more complex mod_rewrite? How can this be achieved using mod_alias or mod_rewrite? I'd prefer a mod_alias solution if possible. Clarifications I'm not staying on the same server. I'd like: http://example.com/terms/ - http://support.example.com/articles/terms/ https://secure.example.com/terms/ - http://support.example.com/articles/terms/ http://dev.example.com/terms/ - http://support.dev.example.com/articles/terms/ https://secure.dev.example.com/terms/ - http://support.dev.example.com/articles/terms/ I'd like to be able to use the same rule in the .htaccess file on both example.com and dev.example.com.   • How do you send a named pipe string from umnanaged to managed code space?

    I appear to have a named pipes 101 issue. I have a very simple set up to connect a simplex named pipe transmitting from a C++ unmanaged app to a C# managed app. The pipe connects, but I cannot send a "message" through the pipe unless I close the handle which appears to flush the buffer and pass the message through. It's like the message is blocked. I have tried reversing the roles of client/server and invoking them with different Flag combinations without any luck. I can easily send messages in the other direction from C# managed to C++ unmanaged. Does anyone have any insight. Can any of you guys successfully send messages from C++ unmanaged to C# managed? I can find plenty of examples of intra amanged or unmanaged pipes but not inter managed to/from unamanged - just claims to be able to do it. In the listings, I have omitted much of the wrapper stuff for clarity. The key bits I believe that are relevant are the pipe connection/creation/read and write methods.   • Why does this Java code not utilize all CPU cores?

    The attached simple Java code should load all available cpu core when starting it with the right parameters. So for instance, you start it with java VMTest 8 int 0 and it will start 8 threads that do nothing else than looping and adding 2 to an integer. Something that runs in registers and not even allocates new memory. The problem we are facing now is, that we do not get a 24 core machine loaded (AMD 2 sockets with 12 cores each), when running this simple program (with 24 threads of course). Similar things happen with 2 programs each 12 threads or smaller machines. So our suspicion is that the JVM (Sun JDK 6u20 on Linux x64) does not scale well. Did anyone see similar things or has the ability to run it and report whether or not it runs well on his/her machine (= 8 cores only please)? Ideas?     I tried creating a new torrent, using uTorrent, following the directions from torrentfreak (http://torrentfreak.com/how-to-create-a-torrent/). I used a bunch of trackers (just in case any individual one was having troubles) and uTorrent shows it as "seeding" with 100% of the file. To confirm that both clients are working, I downloaded a torrent on both computers, using their respective clients, using torrents I found on isohunt. This tells me that there must be something wrong in how I'm creating my torrents. Any help is appreciated.

    Recently I started Multi Sites on my VPS which is having Centos 64 bit. Currently I am having two sites live and each is working fine, Now the problem is in the URL I have the following sites: http://mbas.co.in http://u-k.in mbas was the very first site on my VPS Now in URL if I type http://mbas.co.in or http://www.mbas.co.in both redirect to my mbas website But for the second website, If in URL I type http://u-k.in then it redirects to the u-k website correctly but if I type http://www.u-k.in then it redirects me to mbas website.     I'm attempting to setup redirection for a couple of root domains. [NC] RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^$ RewriteRule ^/?(.*) http://www.%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [L,R,NE] </VirtualHost> What this does is redirect the root domain of example.com or example2.com or any host other than www to www.example(2).com The part I'm having a problem with is the RewriteRule itself. the $1 is supposed to match the pattern of the RewriteRule and add it in the substitution. For example: "http://example.com/test.html" should rewrite to "http://www.example.com/test.html" It works in all modern browsers like it's supposed to except for IE8 or IE9 (I didn't test other IE versions). In IE, this works: "http://example.com" to "http://www.example.com" In IE, this does not work: "http://example.com/test.html" to "http://www.example.com/test.html" Does anyone have an explanation for this behavior?     Hi! I have developed IIS web service to send PAP messages using Blackberry Push API over MDS. And there is an application installed on device, configured to receive push messages on appropriate port. Everything works well on MDS simulator. But it's not working well in real environment: I have installed BES Express and register several devices. I can browse MDS url with appropriate port, so url is correct. Also port enabled for reliable pushes is used in push message and in device application.   • stunnel client uses improper SNI when talking to Apache

    I have stunnel listening on port 80 and acting as a client connecting to Apache listening on port 443. Configuration is below. What I'm finding is that if I attempt to connect to localhost:80 the connection is fine but if I connect to 127.0.0.1:80 When I check Apache's logs it indicates that stunnel is using localhost as the SNI both times, but the HTTP request lists localhost in one case and 127.0.0.1 in another.
